Night mode problem in rooted Samsung Tab A - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

I am using a Rooted Samsung Tab A 10.1 on one ui. Night mode was working perfectly but from last few days it is not turning on. I turn it on but if i see again it is off. I tried doing it from developers option..but there also it is stuck on "always off". I tried using an app for night mode and it says device is not supported. Please help. I don't know what has happened.

Tab automatically resets to lock in landscape no matter what i do.

hi, folks
My tab 10.1 for the last week has mysteriously stopped letting me choose rotation. Even when I turn on auto rotate, the device turns it back off. If I manually disable and try to go into portrait mode, the tab forces me back into landscape. This happens in every app and the home screen.
I deleted every app that I installed recently and it still won't work. I'm running stock on the io version tab 10.1 if that helps.

[Q]Experiencing sleep of death with Lenovo K1 with CM10 and Wifi IS SET TO ALWAYS ON!

Hi all,
I am experiencing the dreaded sleep of death on my Lenovo K1, I cant post in the android development section as I dont have 10 posts yet. I flashed the V2 CM10 via NVflasher and then updated to V6 via Clockword Recovery. I have checked that my Wifi is set to "Always on", I have not done a system restore so this is a clean device. This is now my 3rd flash of this image with the same problem(My previous JB AOSP worked fine). Does anyone have any idea what I can try next?
Thanks!!!
I'm having the same problem with my WiFi version of the K1. I have flashed krook1's build a couple of times and have tried setting the WiFi to Always on. I also have tried Better WiFi On Off and Soft Locker apps to manage the wifi and keep it out of deep sleep (both recommendations in the dev forum) but neither have helped. Every time my screen goes off, the device appears to continue functioning; I can hear notifications going off for emails or text messages. If I try to turn on the screen again using the power button, the two lights on either side of the home button will flash but the screen does not turn on. I then have to hold the power button down and boot up the device again. It doesn't matter if the screen times out or if I turn it off manually, it will always die immediately after.

Hi,
I was experiencing the same issue, the Sleep of death, and would not wake up after turning the screen off or locking the device.
After a lot of testing without positive results, I found this app from the market:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omd.autoscreenon
It allows to have a "Wake Lock" sensor on all the time, it drains battery a little faster (I haven't noticed much of a difference) which seems to have solve the wake up problem.
I've tried this app the whole day and I haven't had any SoD so far.
Hope this helps.

Auto Airplane mode

Okay so I seem to be having a slight problem.
I've had my Nexus 4 for almost a week now I previously had my HTC dream and I would have an auto airplane mode toggle since the HTC dream didn't have that great of a battery life. So when I got my nexus I got juice defender + which has night schedules and an auto airplane mode toggle as well. It didn't work. First I thought maybe its a bug in the app. Did some digging around and saw someone had the same error and tried the suggested didn't work. I figured okay maybe I'll get the same app I had before for airplane mode toggle. And behold it didn't work either. So this is when I thought to myself I honestly don't know what it could be.
My battery life isn't bad its actually really good with around a day and half of battery and a good amount of screen usage. But honestly I don't use my phone at night and that auto toggle is useful since I don't wake up easily in the morning and I usually wake up for school because my girlfriend would call me to wake up. Several calls. Either way I know I can manually switch to airplane mode but I would really like that auto toggle since I won't get the calls since I'll be in airplane mode. Anyone have an idea what's up? I'm using CyanogenMod10.1 Nightly and I'm running 3.4.0 Franko Kernel Nightly.
I also installed AOSP helper manually since JD couldn't install it.

i905 Wi-Fi won't turn on!!!

Hey guys,
My aunt asked me over to help her installing her S4. I did all the things she asked and after I explained some stuff like the tiles (Wi-Fi had been on all time). So I pressed the Wi-Fi tile on and off. After I turned it off, it just wouldn't turn on. When I go to the Wi-Fi menu it shows it is turning on and off. After a while it just stays off and won't try to turn itself on again. It is just stuck in some kind of a loop...
My aunt told me she had exactly the same problem a few days ago and went back to the shop, but before she could be helped the Wi-Fi started working again. I tried turning the phone on and off (dohh!) and reinstalled the latest firmware through samsung KIES, nothing worked. This phone isn't rooted or anything, just out of the box.
My attachment shows what servicemode says @ wi-fi
Could anybody help/advice me please?
Thanks in advantage!
Try factory reseting it

Hey guys, thanks for replying. I turned the phone off overnight and wi-fi started working again after I turned it on, I had the same problem again this morning when I switched the tile on and off after downloading navigon maps and set it again off for 30 minutes. Now it works again. So weird, but I'm glad I'm having an HTC One S , no just kidding ,the s4 is marvellous

Night Mode does not work on Mi Band 6

Hello everyone, English is not my mother tongue so i hope you understand what i say. So, 4 days ago i bought the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 and so far so good with it but in the past 2 days the watch does not automatically turn on night mode and in the first 2 days of using it, the watch was enabling the night mode by itself but for the past 2 days that hasn't been the case anymore. I of course have enabled night mode in the Mi Fit app and still nothing, i changed the setting from automatically turning on after sunset and even put schedules on when to turn on but still nothing is working so far.
Is there a setting that's somehow interfering with night mode? Do i need GPS enabled on my phone for the sunset thingy to work? If so then the scheduled setting should've worked without GPS so what's the issue here?
Any help would be appreciated!
