Hi guys, i was wondering if it's possible to unlock the bootloader of the A207M and then, install an custom recovery and install magisk.
I'll hard reser my phone, so i was thinking about it.
I'll reset because this **** isn't working. Camera stops working these days, videos that i have in my files doesn't play, just play videos from streaming.
I'm rly disappointed with this thing, but with the covid-19, i can't go to the store to get refunded...
If you find some issue with the text, sorry, i'm not a native hehe

Hello everyone,
I have a S5 Verizon version and it has been rooted, I am not rooted atm tho, and all the sudden over the past few days I noticed that the add call button on the dialer has been replaced with a record button. I don't need to record anything so it won't be used, but any reason that might be showing up now? I did have Wanam, but never turned on the recording or anything like that. Again, I don't need to record calls, but I just don't want it showing there. I even un rooted, then factory reset and it still shows the button there. Any reasons why?
Thanks everyone!

I'm guessing you flashed a mod or installed the mod from the Xposed repository? The Xposed mod(in the downloads repository) and anything with it can be reversed. If you "flashed" through recovery, you updated the binaries. Just do a data reset if you don't have a Nandroid backup.

Thanks for the reply... The only thing that worked was to do the OTA update from verizon. Its back now showing add call.

If you DO have Xposed(again), there is a recent Call Recorder mod there. The 1st one is for Jelly Bean, the one for you is further down. That is, unless you want to check out TDunham's thread on modding it yourself.
As the title suggests the play store no longer works on my g2. It is not rooted or modded in any way. Ive tried clearing the play store app along with google play services. That didnt work so i tried to factory reset still to no avail. Someone please help before i throw this crap away.
I'm afraid the same was happening to me, I went back to KitKat and installed CloudyG2 since I was on it.. You could also restore a back-up made using the LG PC Suite.
Good luck!
So i would have to go back to kit kat before doing the backup? And how would I go back to kitkat exactly?
Guess I was replying too early in the morning and wasn't awake just yet Let me explain:
If you would have updated to LolliPop using the LG PC Suite, it would've asked you if you want to create a back-up of your current installation. I meant you could restore this back-up.
If you don't, I've got another idea for you. But I gotta work this out first. Haven't got much time to do this right now, but I'll get onto it later if you want.
That would be great because i have no backup from kitkat so unless i can find a way to fix this im gonna have to get a new phone probably. I cant use 90% of my apps right now. Only google chrome, calling, and texting still work
Could you describe exactly what the Play Store does btw? Does YouTube still work?
For me the Play Store was just showing a blank screen and nothing else.. Just gotta be sure if you've got the same issues as me.
Youtube works fine for some reason. But the play store is working. I can see all the appd and everything, just whenever i try to update or download an app it just continuously says downloading and moves the bar non stop without any change until I stop it. Ive tried wifi vs data and have even let it try to download an update for google play services for over 24 hours.
Hmm that's another thing than I experienced.. But still flashing another ROM could be a solution, if you're fine with that.
However, I'd suggest you back up your current installation first. Either using the LG PC Suite or using a custom recovery. I personally wouldn't go through the hassle of installing a custom recovery when there's another, easier option, but that's up to you.
This is the way I flashed it back to KitKat (and afterwards to the Custom ROM Cloudy G2)
And pay attention, if you use this and something goes terribly wrong, it's at your own risk.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 (I used the KDZ Method)
If you've done that you're set to either flash a Custom ROM or keep your device on stock KitKat.
This is optional however, but I did it because I just like to experiment and tweak my phone
Let me now if you need any further directions, for example installing a Custom ROM
Having the same problem here too. After updating, can't use the Play Store. Tried cleaning cache, data and even removing Google account didn't help. Btw, does all your apps work, especially the ones downloaded from Play Store?
Can any of you guys co firm if the Netflix App shows up for you on Google Play. It used to show up for me but it'a not showing anymore.
Normally, this happens on tablets where the ROM has been tampered with in some way (installed root, recovery, etc). Fortunately, you can simply download the APK and install it manually.

Rooting the device doesn't do it on it's own. I discovered that what did it was modifying the build.prop
I ended up reflashing the tablet with the stock firmware and rooting it again. I purchased it recently and have been tinkering with it a lot, so I neeed to reflash anyways.
Hello,
I really am a noob with things like this but I tried to root my op6t, because i wanted to have the always on display. Sadly it didnt work and now I have a new problem...
I wanted to download Netflix, but i can't find the app in the play store. When I search it through google and press on ' download in playstore', I get the notification ' device is not compatible'.
Also when I reboot my device I get a message that I am in the boot loader .
So basically I messed up. It's probably simple to fix but I'm a real noob with things like this.
Does anyone know how i can get my op6t like New and remove all my 'problems'?
I tried factory reset but that didnt work Sadly.
Kind regards:silly:
Use this link, https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/op6t-collection-unbrick-tools-t3914746, to find your firmware, as long as you can get to download mode, it will work. You can use any patched tool or the right factory tool.
Hello!
I’ve got very disappointing thing, I was using Magisk root for my Galaxy S10+. All was okay, then I came into my vacation, today I was dealing with YouTube and YouTube Vanced, trying to let YouTube vanced open from chrome youtube links, I did force stopped YouTube and disabled it.
Also I have installed MicroG for YouTube vanced and XDA Labs to check it out after.
I didn’t succeed in allowing YouTube vanced to open videos from chrome links. Then I decided to delete it via Titanium backup and started to install again from XDA LABS.
Suddenly my device rebooted and started an infinite bootloop to Download mode. Blue screen with “Downloading...Do not turn off target. Nothing helps, I can access recovery, but neither cache cleaning nor factory reset doesn’t help. I am so desperate that I got bricked phone at my vacation in foreign country. Please, someone can tell me what can I do to make alive my phone ?
Big thanks in advance!

Flash stock rom then geiti94 twrp then nemesis disabler then nemesis kernel
Tip: Next time use the magisk module for vanced, micro g not needed with it. It will act as YouTube should with account, links etc.
Read the documentation on installing magisk with proceeding factory reset.
The title should be "I bricked my phone"..
If u see that blue message, just load the stock firmware bl, ap,cp and home csc into odin , it should work again. Yeah change the title to "i pull the usb cable out while i was flashing".
