Using Root Explorer. Just using magisk patched boot i couldn't get RW in system or anywhere else but data.
After flashing Jesec vbmeta from his thread and wiping data I was able to.

EDIT: SuperSU automatically installs itself in systemless mode for marshmallow. To anyone else that had the same question: Just download the latest zip for SuperSU from ChainFire's site (The regular SuperSU zip, there isnt a different zip for systemless) and flash it.

Instructions:
1. Please backup your data before proceed to next step

4. Need to wipe your data in order to decrypt the data. This is compulsory
5. Flash the zip in the link i've given above.

Just flash the zip you posted through twrp. Works fine.
Already tested a few weeks ago.
This is faster than going for Magisk stuff....
In fact, you can have face unlock with lift to wake up feature. So typically, you can unlock the screen with your face from when the screen is off. ok thanks bro. so if you're from stock then you'll need to wipe data after upgraded to new FW. We need to do this until some devs can solved the decryption problem in TWRP. If you're from KangVIP it's not a problem..

Yes...If you are on Oreo, just install through fastboot. unzip the file and yuo will see run.bat file. Click on that in fastboot mode and it will install.

No issues. Only, on B835 Kangvip, face unlock bug is there for which you need to install apk for face unlock. Rest all good.

Please send logs to try to find the cause of the problem. Also asked in magisk discussion for solutions because this firmware has 2 different vbmeta imgs one vbmeta_samsung.img and another vbmeta.img.
Adb says it is treble enabled.

Vbmeta_samsung.img
Vbmeta.img can be patched to allow magisk to work but Vbmeta_samsung.img cannot. To fix this you need to install a signed TWRP image with special keys. @geiti94 will sign his TWRP image to work with vbmeta_samsung.img
Hope this cleares all of your thoughts. Thank samsung for making this so complicated.

Just flash latest magisk canary with OrangeFox (a TWRP fork) which support OneUI 4.
Edit: My bad, you own a exynos S20.
So you can use imagepatchtools to patch your OneUI 3 boot image to OneUI 4. Then use latest magisk canary app to root OneUI 4 boot image then tar it and flash it with odin.

The imagepatchtools github is pretty well explained but I admit it's a bit complicated.
Or else would you try this modified twrp: twrp_G98X_geiti_modded_A12.tar ?
I applied the same fix as for snapdragon S20. It should avoid bootloop but you probably won't be able to mount system and vendor from twrp ui. Anyway you will be able to flash magisk which is the simpliest way to root.

If you try this modded twrp can you give me a feedback here?
For the next beta you will have to flash back stock firmware then beta updates one after the other or patching all images using above imagepatchtools. But for stable release you will be able to download full firmware and flash it with odin.
