Hi
It is not very likely. I will suggest you to first document the hardware of your "WinCE Car HeadUnit 7023B".
Learn how to launch external WinCE application on your model or how to run explorer to try run applications that can read the hardware that you use.

Neither any of these options are available for your unit.
WinCE is outdated and no longer supported since more than 10 years now. The hardware would even not be able to get Android at all running.
For some reason they find always someone buying their outdated stock things.

Has anybody made a downgrade of their MCU?
I have bought an ALPS-8227L_demo, but unfortunately it does not support OEM LVDS signal with 400x240p resolution. The manufacturer claims that their cheaper version has the resolution, but does not respond on my inquiries on re-flashing the unit. I just think that may be a downgrade could help to solve my issue, and get a system setting which allows to chose and switch to the mode of 400x240 resolution input

They sell this unit as Prius 20 Android unit ( https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/4000521643427.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.7ed46eefoMcttb )
It working fine but miss some things I had with Hal9K, so would like to know if this unit will be able to use this Rom (or if not possible other Rom)
As I see it's not a Rockchip, but Intel SC9853i
What are you missing?
Seems it has Android 10 or A fake android 10.
I want to had a ad-blocker. And this unit does not give me the normal Settings page of android when entering but a self made menu. Only in some occasion i can get some normal Android setting
i need to give permission to use 3rd party apps because my Online TV app is not working.

thanks..So I do have a Joying unit. That is a start
unfortunately all firmware on given link are Android 8.1 and I run already 10.
Need to do some research how to root and install new roms. Never done this on a Intel unit
Then install Quickshortcutmaker from play store and search for the application Search Suggestion. Through this Android search i found all hidden settings in my unit
Thanks..Will try that

XY AUTO 9216BJ Update?

Hello all!
First of all, I am an android noob, so please don't mind me if I ask an obvious question.
I recently got a head unit with the specs as in the image bellow.

I got this HU from a local reseller (who BTW wasn't very knowledgeable about the topic) and he told me that in order to use CarPlay or Android Auto, I'll need to install an app. Since then, I've been browsing the forums and trying to install multiple versions of Zlink I found on the forums, but all I get is the "App not installed" message. I believe this is due to the unrooted firmware of the head unit.
Today as I was browsing the forums I found a link to the xyAuto file server and there I found an "update" for the head unit which has wireless carplay in the name (image 2).
My question is: Is it safe to update my head unit with this update and will it automatically install a carplay app like Zlink? The last thing I want to do is to brick my device...
Thanks and stay safe!

Getting Both USB Ports to Work

I've got a Chinese head unit (Topway TS7 - based). It has the usual two USB ports, one 4-pin, one 6-pin. Both work but I can only use one at a time. I could really use 2 (or 3 or 4). Is there a driver or something missing?

Unknown Head Unit

Good evening everyone I have recently buyed a used car (Alfa Romeo MiTo) and I found a PX6 car radio already mounted on it.
I would have some questions to ask you (I am attaching the specifications in the photo):
- On the car stereo is installed the hal9k 5.0.0 version based on android 10, I was reading on the internet that the stock 11 version was released, now my problem is that i don't know exactly who the manufacturer of the stereo is, even if only to be able to reinstall the stock and get an idea.
- I delighted in updating the MCU bringing it to the latest version available on the net looking for MCTE_LY ..... But I saw that there are also other types of "MCTD" for example or "MCTE_XX" with two other final letters; I wanted to try to understand how the nomenclature works? Are they incremental letters? Is one worth the other? Is there a better ones or a worse?
Thanks to those who answer, I think that in the meantime, understanding that '' beast '' is could help me ....
