How to remove apps from the system - Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Questions & Answers

After I manually installed miui 11, I can no longer remove apps from the system. I already rooted and still can not remove the apps.
Already returned to the miui 10 and still can not remove.
Before upgrading to miui 11 I removed apps from the system without problem.
Does anyone know of any solutions to this?

Yotaphone 2 lollipop without GAPPS?

Hello!
I am searching for lollipop without gapps. I tried everything, cpu tuner, greenify... etc, i dont use my phone and my battery draining. Is there android os for yotaphone 2 without GAPPS? The necessary apps i will install with apk.
Thanks for help.
All official builds carry Google core apps, framework and services.
You can remove most of the Gapps without crippling the system, however most of the apps that rely upon Google Services Framework and Google Play Services may not function, WhatsApp included (generally its the background sync that ceases to function).
You can have any firmware without GAPPS, just study how to remove them with scripts like this and then if you want to use some apps that require Google Play Services, inform yourself about microG project. As our official firmwares come with gapps pre-installed, we need to remove them after the installation and the script is a helpful tool to do that.
I was thinking to do the same, but at the moment I don't have much time to experiment, anyway some users on 4pda are successfully using their YotaPhone2 without Gapps.

Flashing open gapps over stock OOS?

So I did this once before and it ended up with a few apps force quitting on startup. Looking at a log cat it seems like they were unable to open android system webview I tried installing that form the app store with no dice.
Does anyone here know if it's possible to remove the google bloat and just install everything from the play store out of the things you need?
Stock OOS already has Google apps included. What exactly are you trying to accomplish by flashing Gapps over Google apps that are already installed?
This has worked with me GApps .

Remove gapps and replace with gapps from opengapps?

I'm curious if this is possible with the stock rom any of my current attempts seems to fail with apps not being able to load properly.
I'm assuming there are some dependencies and it's not possible to remove all the gapps from the stock rom only to replace them with the apps from opengapps.
main reason is I don't want things like google movies / chrome / the google app and most things that you can get from the app store I rather just install the app store version but I'm thinking that might not be possible or it would be a bad idea to try this on a stock rom. Even if it is rooted.
Why you don’t Just disable this app.
If you are rooted there is a debloater app for stock OOS. You flash it in TWRP, an Aroma installer comes up and you can pick which Google and OP system apps and some non essential services that you would like to uninstall. It works very well.

Aroma debloater seems to have been removed but thanks for the link. I'll check around in that forum.

I already have a lot of the gapps disabled but on my previous phone I was on a custom rom and I prefered just not having the app entirely.

I try to delete bloat system apps but they keep coming back

I installed this rom:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/rom-slm-version-t3704143
(I wanted an android 7 stock rom - not MIFavor - but incredibly I couldn't find it)
after that, I tried to remove with Titanium Backup many system apps that I didn't want, like Mi Assistant, Es file explorer, Z-backup, an app with russian characters which I have no idea what it does, an app with chinese characters which I have no idea what it does, etc.), but the problem is that they keep coming back even after removing them with Titanium Backup :| this has never happened to me before, and I have no idea how to solve this.
Try this zip. Backup before flash.

thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work: first I tried with this method, then I installed the zip you provided, but again it didn't work.
As before, if I uninstall system apps via Titanium Backup, and then reboot the device, the apps are still there.

In TWRP's terminal do
Code:
reboot disemmcwp
If that doesn't work do it from your computer with
Code:
adb reboot disemmcwp
I tried exactly as you said, but again it didn't work. I unistalled apps with titanium backup, they disappear, then I reboot and the apps are again there :'(
Apart from that the phone works perfectly (the root remains, xposed works, etc.) so I have no idea why this is happening
Oh I have a a2017g and I dont' have Magisk, if that changes anything.
just a quick update, I have already installed busybox 1.21.1, and if i try to update it to 1.27.2 with busybox app from play store, nothing happens/changes.
edit2: I even try to install the "dm-verity and forced encryption disabler zip" listed here, but again it didn't work.

Try Magisk. AFAIK with Magisk you can make changes to system without actually modifying system, so it might work.

Could you explain this? You were looking for LineageOS maybe?
To be able to delete apps you should get a computer with ADB, connect your phone, then from the computer issue "adb reboot disemmcwp". Doing this from TWRP or a terminal emulator doesn't work

Don't use Titanium to remove the apps.if you have run the above command to disable write protection, download mxplorer or any root explorer and go into the folder and delete them. For some reason Titanium doesn't delete them properly
I was having the same problem with with all the b13 roms. The b13 bootstack it the problem for me. What phone model are you using? If you are on the U model trying installing the b32 bootstack by drakenfx. That's how I solved that problem. I am not sure on the g model though.
thanks again for your help! in the end since I couldn't figure it out, I decided to factory reset everything and start from scratch with Magisk and LineageOS. With them I succesfully managed to delete system apps with titanium backup. now i have only a small issue with adblocker, but i will create a new topic as the problem is different from the one i talked about here.

yeah I wasn't really clear. I was looking for an android vanilla experience, and then add gravity box to personalize it. however i am quite happy with lineageos, so i just may stick with it. only issue is that i couldn't find dark theme for drawer/settings, but i will look into it.

i think you're using the stock system, a.k.a. MiFavor. LineageOS is the vanilla android experience you wanted, that's why I mentioned it.
I'm attaching a few screenshots

How to remove all Google applications without causing a bootloop?
Hello, I want to remove all Google applications to replace them with microG. However, whenever I uninstall (with Titanium) all Google applications I get a bootloop.
I have read that there are ZIPs that can be installed via TWRP and delete them, but I have not found any.
I have a Redmi 4 Prime, I use this ROM:
xiaomi.eu_multi_HM4Pro_7.12.7_v9-6.0.zip
how is it going
so any xperiences so far?
it seems, that it is so obvious, or so weird i guess
not even a highly valueable 'why' reply...
before i was posting my own topic i was presented by this one here.
WTF! i am not able to find better than that so far:
