The only way of using DT2W is to flash a custom kernel or roms, so unless there is some other cheaty way of doing it, I can't help you.

Can't you just flash a custom kernel tho? I'ts pretty easy. I am running Android 5.0.1 with Sabermod franco.Kernel and Xposed, works perfectly. This kernel has DT2W so yeah .

I installed Frank with 5.1 so I wanted to only add dt2w functionality. [emoji23] And find a way not to have to change kernels because I feel that that ROMs usually give their best with their original kernel [emoji6]
It's maybe just a placebo effect
Im having port new kernel (LineageOS kernel base) for Miui Nougat to add somethings so Miui not have

Lineage OS 14.1 07/10/2017 build is perfect for me!
There are no bugs and u can get the customisation part via gravity box (xposed obviously) !
The only bug I found that everytime I open google photos android.process.media crashes (which is present in almost every custom rom).
There are no other bugs.
Battery backup is great and fast charging is also there...750-820 ma!

I did but the same problem is there
AOSP by pirej is fast and lagfree and can be used as a daily driver but if you want speed, stability and customisations at the same place the best choice is Viper OS.
Need custom kernel with dt2w for stock rom or custom roms running on android 6.0. I've gone all the post but didn't find any. I have redmi 3s without fp sensor and I'm worried about power button because I lock and unlock my device a lot. So please help me to find custom kernel which will run perfectly with stock rom. Please don't suggest any play store app because I tried most of them and all of these suck.
Perxepted kernel, i think this is the only choice.
Very good kernel, i used it for a long time.

i didn't use dt2w, but read there were some problems with it in last build. You may try the previous build.

yup I tried those already. but I'm not happy with performance. currently using arvanasoft rom. It's best miui based custom rom. performance, features and battery life is top notch. Thanks for your time tough.

You can enable it by downloading Kernel Adiutor or Ex-Kernel Manager app from play store.
I'm enjoying Liquid Remix because I can play PUBG and Asphalt 9 games in this ROM with game mode enabled.
A huge thanks to @difr for making it possible in such a low budget device. Give it a shot and you will never regret.
Thanks.
