We all know RN7 got L3 widevine, but few got L1 also, with latest MIUI. Is it possible to get L1 with custom ROM? I found a file, flashed, it was showing L1 in DRM-info. But then Netflix video stopped playing, like showing an error "This can not be played error-5.10" Need solution please.
Mine came with L1 enabled.... I have the Global Version on stock 10.3.5

I have this phone and would like to know if it is possible to retain Widevine L1 status on any of the custom roms.
If so, I would like to know if any of the 64-bit roms can do L1 and that would be preferable.
After months of use i just got back into watching prime video on my phone and i realized... the hd options aint there... the BEST would be 0.46GB which is kinda around 480p to 720p mid.
checked the widevine Security support and it was L1 and not L3
i know there was an update recently 057 which made it l3 but its fixed as of 058.
just to confirm i also reflashed back to oreo with the flash tool so im pretty sure everything is fully wiped.
still no HD option.
posting here to know if its just me... ive tested on every update i could find.
id post screenshots if i wasn't constantly flashing stock rom updates one by one.

i was on hydrogenos 9.0.4 and yeah i local upgrade oxygenos rom 9.0.17 and thats gone smoothly no issues bro

Doesn't work in the case of version 10, keep getting package is of lower version. But I managed, I unlocked the bootloader and used fastboot method.

For a few days now, the play store has appeared as uncertified on the Xiaomi Eu rom, One OS, Elite rom when it was before.
After installing earlier versions of these roms, it doesn't change anything.
Also installed the latest stock Xiaomi rom, same.

We can therefore conclude that the problem comes from Google.

Also try with android 10 roms: Stock V12.0.4.0.QJKMIX and EU rom V11.0.19.0.QJKCNXM_v11-10=CTS FAIL
but netflix and Disney+ are on Playstore .
it seems that it is back to normal.

It was a problem that came from google.
You can try to log out of the google account then erase all the data from the playstore and restart.
Or try a global rom.

My widevine gone to l3 after i ota to android 12 beta update manually. I don't know why it happened i was on Android 11 oos. Never unlocked or tried custom roms.
After that i tried going back to oos11 again using msm, flashing custom rom pixel experience, msm to oos10. In short tried everything but doesn't seem to work .
Please if anyone have a ideas let me know i can not watch 480p now. Thanks in advance.
