i flashed nuclear 7.1 but i encurred in a bootloop that i could resolve only with qfil tool, so i putted cos 12.1 stock, unclocked bootloader and flashed twrp, now: when i flash ANY rom via twrp i go in a bootloop that i can only solve with qfil tool going back to cos and do everything from beginning.
i tried:
change recovery (i tried CWM but i have same problem)
wipe storage (anything changed)
i tried several roms but everyone gave me the same result: very fast bootloop in zuk logo and phone vibration
the only thing i can do is to restore a backup, but since im note able to flash mm firmware (bootloop) i cant use touch id and g-sensor
what can be the problem?
any solution?
thanks
Boot and recovery partitions
Sounds like you messed up boot and recovery sections. Since you can boot up successfully, you may try to flash back to ZUI which changes these two sections completely. If it's not a solution for you, I think the only way to repair is completely format including kernel, system and partitions. You can find the tutorial on Website.
...
you can fix it just use TOOL_ZUK_Z1_ENG_0.0.6
Try flashing COS 12.1 via fastboot.

Hi!! I've flashed the NucleaRom too and for a couple of weeks it worked just fine. However one day, out of nowhere, the phone, while still on and working, restarted itself and entered a bootloop. After a few days it restarted normally and lasted a couple of hours but then it all started again. The BIG issue here is that when the phone enters in this bootloop where it remains on for about 15 seconds, it does it either in the system or the recovery/fastboot. I've managed to install two other ROMs via TWRP, when it miraculously remained turned on, but the problem persisted.
Is there a chance your problem was similar? How did you manage to flash via QFIL? I can't enter into that "emergency" or "download mode" in order to flash.
Many thanks in advance
i think that the problem is in the bootloader itself you should try flashing the latest os u have used and instal ordinary unofical lineage nightly (you can find everywhere) by this way your bootloader will be updated to 7.1 after that you can install any software i was having same problem when trying to migrate to lineage os
unable to install Custom ROM's
hi ,,
even i had the same problem like recovery was not accepting any ROMS... if we flash it ll go to recovery again and again,
and later i have flashed CM 13 with image file,, it worked and gone to recovery and updated the update to lineage OS 14.1 with Gapps..
hope it might help u...

plz help its been 4 hrs, i think i am in trouble! any possible solutions!!!!
U can try one thing.... Install cm13 with flash file and then restart - - & go to recovery select install update and select lineage 14 and G apps... I did like this . And it worked....
2-3 days ago I successfully rooted my Moto E3 power by unlocking bootloader and installing twrp recovery. Yesterday I installed Lineage 14.1 custom Rom (7.1.2) for Moto E3 power from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e3/development/rom-lineage-14-1-moto-e3-power-t3610435
The Rom installation was successful. Phone was working fine. But there was some minor lag and screen was appearing to be yellowish. Hence I decided to Factory reset the phone. I tried to reset it from phone settings. The phone switched off and turned on into twrp recovery mode. Then I tried to factory reset through twrp mode. But it is always booting into twrp recovery. I wiped all cache and data including system data and flashed the above Rom again. But whenever I try to system reboot, it is not booting normally, but always going into twrp mode.
Please provide solution for the issue with appropriate information and links.
Thanks.
Beauause u delete the all ROM
For Reset phone -: not need to wipe system and boot.. Only do a factory reset

Yes, I know that
I had done just factory reset earlier, but after that it kept on booting into recovery mode everytime I reboot the phone. Then I cleared system data to flash the ROM again. I should have done factory reset through recovery mode rather than from phone settings.

Awaiting you response.
Thanks in advance!

Update: Don't know if you still need the solution, but I am gonna share my info. Although as the phone you were talking about must be Moto E3, my phone is Lenovo K3 Note, but the processor should basically be the same, as both runs on Mediatek processors. And for the same reason, they both would use the SP Flash Tool to flash a ROM. You'll need to download the Stock ROM file for your moto E3, and flash it through SP flash tool installed on your computer. You'll get the tutorials on youtube. When the stock ROM is flashed, the phone will start with your stock ROM. I have had my phone do the same and it is fine now.

Yes i recovered from the situation.
You just had to download the sp flash tool and the stock ROM for your respective phone, and flash it . Remember for the above problem you just have to use the "download only" option in your sp flash tool and it will work. if you use "format all+download"
you will left by losing imei number of your phone and then you have to follow other procedure to fix that. but according to me your phone will start by choosing download only.
Hi,
I unlocked the bootloader of my H870, installed TWRP 3.1.1.0 and SUPERSU. Everything was working great untill I decided to restore my system defaults to make a fresh start with my G6. After choosing the option to restore system defaults, my phone rebooted and it booted into TWRP. I rebooted my phone and it kept doing this all the time.
I decided to look for a stock ROM and flash that ROM.
I succesfully flashed the "LG-H87010f-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip" ROM (from autoprime's post) trough TWRP. But this did not work. I even wiped all the data from my phone (even system) and flashed the ROM again; still nothing.
Before having this issue, I had the same Baseband version, Kernel version, Build number. Only the dates and the Software Version are different.
I had the V10b-EUR-XX Software Version installed on my phone. I see this is the 10f version. I guess this should not be a problem right?
After this I took these steps solve this issue:
1. Downloaded new LG Mobile Drivers (LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.2.0)
2. Downloaded and installed LGUP. LGUP doesnt recognize my phone as a LG G6 and this method did not work for that reason.
Fastboot mode is working on my phone; I can reboot my phone trough the commandline on my PC and things like that . However, my PC is not recognizing my phone as a LG G6 device in Fastboot mode.
My PC recognices my phone as a H870 when in TWRP. In Fastboot mode it recognices my phone as Android Device.
3. Installed LG Bridge for more drivers; did not work either
4. Downloaded Uppercut, but it doenst work without LGUP.
4. Looked all over the internet to find a Stock ROM in .zip or .img format; found nothing
5. Downloaded WindowsLGFirmwareExtract-1.2.6.1 and tried to extract the H87010d_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0327.kdz file. I extracted it into .bin files, but they were not usable. After that, I combined these .bin files into a system.img file. But that .img file was bigger then 5 GB and for that reason it was not usable to flash trough Fastboot or TWRP.
7. Looked for other methods to obtain a H870 Stock Rom, including another extraction method, but I cant figure out how to do this.
I have spend countless hours on this problem, but I cant find an usable H870 stock rom to flash my phone with.
Is there someone that can help me out with this problem? Im willing to donate some € if someone helps me to get my phone working again.
Really hoping for a kind person to help me out and provide me solution for this issue.
Thanks in advance
Try formating data in TWRP(not factory reset) then flash the 10f complete zip. Trying to perform a factory reset from within Android could have possibly messed up your data (due to TWRP being installed instead of stock recovery) so a full data format is needed.
Lgup most likely doesn't detect the phone because you wiped system. But flashing the complete zip should have restored system.
In the future make backups in TWRP to restore later.. or flash a kdz with lg bridge or lgup without wiping system first.

Thanks for your reply. I have already formatted data in TWRP, but im still having this problem . It seems like something is preventing my device from starting up. I have flashed several ROMS on other devices, but never experienced something like this. Is there something else I can try? Can I flash the stock recovery and flash the stock ROM? I got the feeling TWRP is causing this issue.
If its possible to flash stock recovery, where can I find it?

Flash the complete zip then boot into download mode and flash kdz. Lgup should see the device as a g6 now instead of unknown device. If lgup isn't seeing any device at all (including unknown device) then your setup is off.. missing drivers or something. If that doesn't work.. idk.

Don't factory reset using the in phone option. You can only do this through twrp's option. To fix this you'll need to boot through the hard side, using power and volume down until the lg logo appears then release power for 1 sec and then repress keeping volume down pressed. Confirm yes twice on the white screens to get to twrp. Once in twrp then reset again and reflash the system. Then using twrps img installer flash your twrp img(make sure it is on ext sd) again. Then reboot.

Ohhh F*** YEAHH!!! :victory: Booting the "hard side" fixed the problem!! It was the first thing I tried this morning. I just booted this way and rebooted my phone without resetting or flashing anything. Im so damn happy lol. I still dont understand what happened and why my device was actling like this. But I learned a hard lesson; backup, backup and once again: BACKUP. And dont Factory reset in Android!
Thanks a lot for your help guys! I really apreciate it! :victory::victory:

Probably because you already did all the flashing prior to. Glad it worked. This happened when I first got my V20 and was stoned not thinking. I reset using the in phone option and it caused twrp bootloop. I too learned the hard way.
Had the same issue, fixed it, thanks.
My phone kept doing this booting into recovery no mattery what ROM I installed.
I got into twrp by holding volume down and selecting yes on next 2 white screens....but now this message appears all the time.
please can someone help??

Great tip @Swizzle82! It allowed me to restore my LG G6 after bootloop. It had not been detected by PC, and this hardware reset helped!
Hi, all
If I understand, and to sum up :
I rooted my LG-G6 few weeks ago, and intall TWRP. When OTA wants to install official update, the reboot stops in TWRP mod, so ... failed :-/
Is the solution to flash through Uppercut/LGUP with a .kdz file, without risk of brick the phone ?
Thx
Hello. My device reboot into TWRP only after reboot (TWRP or System). I tried to reset data into AICP ROM in settings. Install again ROM don't works. Also restore from backup dont works. Help me :/
seems like this one trouble;

will try flash the stock one after night. If anybody knows solution, please help me.
After 356 milions of flashing twrp and wiping my phone finally update.zip (stock OS) transfered into phone (earlier still bugs). Then transfered stock.img (image of stock recovery) into phone and flashed it and... My backup worked. I'm embarrased. Will charge my phone and try to update to the lastest version. Then I'll check that my phone have stock or twrp of recovery. Idk what happened last night!
I could install the stock ROM (i had stock recovery and custom ROM). After boot, device runs ~40 sec then rebooting. In recovery i did clean data, then the stock OS works fine.
Hello, so im stuck now on startup. I actually rooted my phone a week ago and everything's fine until I've downloaded some cracked apks online and restarted my phone. Please help what would i do now

yes yes i've installed twrp, i've actually tried formatting my data, clearing dalvik cache (thru twrp) then restarted it but still stuck at loading zenfone logo. i dont care bout my data on phone, just wanna get my phone back to normal.
can u please elaborate bout reflashing rom? i've never done flashing any rom before , stock or custom,
Never done this on my M1 but on my note edge,
When i got a bootloop, i simply reinstall stock rom, or just clean install custom rom

Ok so it's good opportunity to try something new...first you need to download custom rom and gapps package to sd card (always a better option)or internal storage...do the downloads on pc or somewhere else...
1. Wipe cache, dalvik cache, system, vendor, data, internal storage(this one is optional)
2. Mount extsd card
3. Install Rom package...(i personally use xenonhd based on pie) from here https://mirrors.c0urier.net/android...tal/X00T/XenonHD-181007-Experimental-X00T.zip
You can try any other of your choice
4. Install Gapps package from here..http://download2264.mediafire.com/r0vq21tabscg/m1u4llu62bdwyos/BiTGApps-arm64-9.x.x-0.1-unsigned.zip
5. This step is optional if you want root access then flash magisk package from here..https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v17.1/Magisk-v17.1.zip and uninstall package from https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v17.2/Magisk-uninstaller-20180921.zip ......after tge rom boot up install magisk manager from https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/manager-v6.0.0/MagiskManager-v6.0.0.apk
6. Reboot to system..first boot up will take 4-5 minutes...ENJOY
so i tried flashing the stock rom but i got an error
Code:
[B] This package is for "ASUS_X00TD" devices; this is a "X00TD"[/B]
i got the rom at asus.com/ph/Phone/ZenFone-Max-Pro-ZB602KL/HelpDesk_BIOS/
i guess i'll try flashing with a custom rom instead?
also a follow up question: is it safe to reboot to recovery with twrp even my phone has no OS installed (already wiped it for flashing a new rom)
