During the back cover replacement process the small lens/diffuser for camera flash went missing.
Back cover that I ordered came without camera lens&flash lens/diffuser because I could salvage it from old cover and so that was the option I did choose at the time.
Now, with the flash lens/diffuser missing I am hoping someone can point me in a right direction where I can buy either flash lens/diffuser only or perhaps camera lens with flash lens/diffuser as an assembly.
I asked seller that I bought rear cover from and he can sell the whole rear cover assembly together for $35 , and other sellers that I have asked about camera lens have replied back saying the lens/diffuser for flash is not included :crying:
Any suggestions or pointers?

Does anybody need a rear housing? The minimum order is 2, and i would need another buyer. The housing also serves to replace the lens for the camera. Mine is scratched up so I thought this would be a good opportunity to replace both.
Parts are at GDP: globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-T959-Back-Housing-p/smsng6085950.htm
I know I am new here so want to assure that I will be a honest group buyer. PM me.
I have an A500 that is (generally) stock - was rooted prior to 3.2.1 but is running stock OS now. This past weekend, all of a sudden it appears there is dust or debris on the rear camera lens - there are small dots or smudges on the lens and the camera will not focus beyond a very close (macro) range). I called Acer because it is still in warranty, but I also went ahead and cracked open the case and tried to clean the camera and lens cover - no luck. I think there are fewer smudges but they are still there.
Here are my questions :
Is there something else I can do to clean this without shipping it back to Acer ( I would rather not be without it for ~2 weeks)
Assuming I need to send it back, what should I clean off the unit to ensure there are no "out of warranty" findings from when it was rooted ?
Doe they have any markers inside the case to determine if someone has cracked the case ? I didn't see any, but am curious what others have to say ?
Thanks in advance for your help

i had a similar issue with mine: the rectangle of glass surrounding the raear camera was getting filled with dust from the inside. since that piece was loose, i pried it off, wiped it clean with a dry clean cloth (i used what i use to clean my glasses) and stuck it back on. it was only glued on so its still loose, but the camera quality is much improved.
it sounds like you have a similar issue, and your camera is focusing on the specs on the glass instead of what you want it to focus on. i don't know if you want to try taking it apart or not, but those are my few cents.
Not the outer piece
So I did crack open the case and the specks are not on the outer lense cover (i.e. the one that is visible from the rear of the camera. By viewing the camera with the rear cover still disassembled and separated from the unit, the specks are still there so it is either on the lense itself (again which I have tried to clean as well, or the digital pickup (CCD?)).
I'm stumped. Any ideas ?
Is it comes with the back of the phone or as a seperate part?
I know you can buy just the frame, but how about OEM parts in official shops?
Repair shop is telling me they could replace only the whole back of the phone which is expensive as hell obviously.
Alternatively, does anyone succeeded in polishing it with some metal polisher ? Or shouldn't I even bother doing it ?
So far I have tried grinding it with no success sadly.
I replaced my Nexus 4 back cover, I took the same screws that were on my old cover and try to put them in the new one.
The screws does not fit well and does not screw all the way down.
Can it be because of the back cover? I orderd it from eBay and it's quality not good.
Please help me!
If you are sure that the screws were the same, then your new backcover isn't original and it isn't good! I suggest you to send it back and buy elsewhere.

I ordered it from eBay, sending it back will cost me the same as the back cover (which arrived cracked).
I looked at the back cover that came with the Nexus and the holes for the screws (from inside) are bigger, thats why I could not screw it all the way in (the new cover is white and the old is black, if it matters).
Anyhow, I installed it without the screws and hope to get a refund as the product is low quality, probably not original (but the description says the brand is LG) and it arrived broken.
Hi, I spotted a couple of motes on my rear camera lens. The long story is that those motes weren't there before I send my phone to the Huawei Service Centre that took them more than one month to fix my cracked camera cover.
So instead of sending it back to them and deal with their utter crap service (they didn't covered me with the warranty for the cracked camera cover) and not having my phone for another month I decide to dismantle the cover myself with the proper tools and clean the lens, the result is that I managed to clean one of the motes (up right corner) but the other three dots that can be easily spotted in the middle and another one in the left side were not removed.
I tried to cleaning it with air to remove dust, a lens cleaner solution applied to a cotton bud and a brush for cleaning lenses... And none of those solutions were able to remove the motes/dots there.
I'm starting to consider that the lens could be damaged (thought it doesn't looks to me like a lens damaged effect) or there is liquid solution or something stick to the lens that I can't easily remove (maybe they damaged it when they were repairing the cover)... It also looks like they are not in the same exact position, they are slightly moved in the two different images.
Any ideas?

Same here, i think its on the inside of camera lens, because cleaning didn't help. Ebay has 6p camera modules for sale.

I know that this is a really old thread - but how did you resolve this issue?
My 6p has a speck of dust that I realized probably a month or so outside of warranty. I started doing things in my life that involve A LOT of picture and video now -- and I finally noticed the speck of dust. Now, it's really obvious (mostly because I know where to look for it).
Was yours fixable by taking it apart? Or did you have to order a new sensor?

Hey, mine wasn't fix, I've been living with that until now, taking it apart didn't help, recently I took it to a Huawei service center for another reason and they told me that my lens was damaged inside so... You may have more luck than me and be just dust.
