K20 or Chinese rom support 1080p 960fps???
K20 also only supports Video HFR with 720p resolution.
https://www.mi.com/global/mi-9-t/specs
Website still showing
1080P slow motion recording 120fps / 240fps / 960fps
Hopefully it is not a hardware limitation of imx582
Snapdragon 730 supports following formats: "Slow Motion Video Capture: 720p @ 240 FPS, 1080p @ 120 FPS"
maybe 1080p 120fps can get added with MIUI 11 and Android 10
To have 1080p HFR @120fps you have to manually set the resolution back to 1080p if you have used a higher HFR mode at 720p previously

Hey we all know that our galaxy 3 doesn't have flash support and ambient light sensor but
According to this link our galaxy 3 is having both flash support + video telephony.

It is clearly stated that Galaxy 3 has FLASH LITE which will play swfs from your sd and some videos( i used it to view a video in stock browser)
And there are some apps which allow using the back camera for video telephony but still its not that comfortable compared to devices with a front camera

There is written android browser with flashlite 3.1 .But we cant see any flash content in browser. There is no app for video telephony.Apps like fring and vtok allows you to video chat not videocall
Yes we have Flash, but it doesn't work in the browsers and it's so slow you wouldn't want it to work anyways. As for video telephony, I have no idea what that's about considering there is no front camera so the other person would see you but you wouldn't see them unless you hold a mirror in your hands.
I think this Update fixed YouTube while playing 4k video. Before the video would stop but you could still hear audio. Just watched an entire 4k video and it played all the way.

I agree with this.

Before the update this morning, watching 4K video would stop playing, followed by a loud srceaching sound and then the device would reboot by itsefl.
This update fixed that. Thank you Samsung and T Mobile.
Yep update fixed that and also screen sensitivity and palm rejection. As well as battery drain. Looking good, and performance is faster too.
Antutu jumped to 134000 from 128 I used to get

Hi Guys,
as always I want to share with you my italian review of the Xiaomi Mi5S Plus.
PROs:
stunning display 5.7 inch
amazing performance
very good battery life
CONs:
Desing
Sharp edges
No optical stabilization
I bought the sample from the iBuyGou Shop. The transparent case included in the box sucks. But I can't find any good cover at the moment. I don't like the original one.
I update this post with some interesting screenshots .
P.S. My sample is the MI5S Plus with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
I hope that some users can uploads some benchmarks of the 6GB of RAM version.
At this address you can find my complete blog review with more photos, bench and other info: http://www.pcexpert-blog.com/2016/10/recensione-xiaomi-mi5s-plus.html

So no stabilization at all OIS or Electronic?
It has EIS for 1080p videos
Hello every body,
Android 7.0 update brought to the S7 the ability to change the screen resolution in order to save power.
This feature was introduced first in the dead beast Note7
So, what are the differences between these resolutions?
I did capture some pictures using an X25 lens and here is the result.
The order is 720p then 1080p then 1440p

}
here are some other samples
I think the difference between 720p and others is clear
The difference between 1080p and 1440p might be more clear in photo colors
Thats it and you can judge for your self
Best regards
Thank you!
I was wandering at hardware level what was the difference.
i dont know about battery but at 1080p will improve performance drastically in games and some apps, and the dif from 1440 is almost unseen to the eye
Battery improvements here are unlikely to be noticeable as the main power draw is the screen itself which will still use the same power regardless of resolution.

Agree. Anything higher than 1080p at least at this form factor is probably only good for VR.

My model was upgraded to Android 10 yesterday, but I already had this problem before.
I didn't root my device, I'm using the OS as it came installed and (AFAIK) I didn't make any relevant changes as I've only had the phone for a couple of months.
So my problem is the DRM Info app says I have Widevine L1 (though no HDR functionality?!), but then in Netflix's "Playback Specification" screen it says Widevine L3 and SD as maximum playback resolution.

Because of this, I can't seem to play Netflix HD videos on my phone. Which is a bother because even for the small-ish 6.4" screen those 480p are really starting to show their age.
And I do have the Netflix 4K plan.
Another interesting tidbit is the Amazon Prime Video app lets me play videos in 1080p (making it a big difference in quality to netflix videos).
The only thing out of the ordinary that I remember is manually installing a couple of games through an apk, as they're from humble bundle.
Any help here? Should I try to contact netflix? Reinstall the app in some specific way?
