Is there any way to bring Active Edge feature on Lavender. Havoc Is had this feature when I used it on Kenzo (RN 3)
But it isn't available on Lavender.
Any Help?
Isn't Active Edge the thing where you squeeze the phone to trigger a certain action? If yes, then the RN7 doesn't have such a feature

Yes it is the same. But as per my knowledge, it has been ported to PIE roms. Havoc OS had this for Kenzo.

Since Oneplus decided to **** on its customers i thought about LineageOS for my OP2.
Since the gestures were the primary reasons for me to get the OP2 initially these are do or die for me. So, does LineageOS support these or have something similar?
Lineage OS has the Gesture feature
thanks!
Hey, I'm getting an S5.
I know this has been asked a ton of times, but I'm not sure if my decision is right. I want to use the phone mainly as a music player, but I do want to (if possible) use pretty much every feature there, such as the fingerprint sensor and maybe even the heart rate sensor. Could the fingerprint sensor be used as a button when not needed to unlock something?
I also want most, if not all of the camera quality there is. I'm currently considering the PhoeniX ROM as it seems to have everything I'm looking for.
But are there any alternatives?
Also, is it inherently bad if I get an unlocked version of a carrier S5, instead of a G900F?
I used lineage os for 5 months and I was fine except for the camera and the battery. now I use nemesis reborn from a few days but I feel great now I am waiting for lineage 15.1 stable. regards.
Has anyone seen that almost fully working, daily driver ready, OnePlus7 Pro Poco port?
Is there any chance to a port to OP5/5T to happen?
So you mean ported oos from oneplus 7?

I meant that there is an OnePlus 7 pro full ROM port, almost fully functional, being used as a daily driver with Poco and Redmi note 5. Even the on screen fingerprint unlock is working (in conjunction with the device physical unlock method).
It's darn cool... You can find it on YT. I didn't dive deep into it yet but I guess it's part of the project treble or so
Hi everyone this would be my first thread here at xda
I am considering getting the redmi K20 once it launches in India my biggest concern right now is the rom development for this phone can we expect anything are any developers interested in it or is it pretty much dead and it's better to go for something else
My main priority for the new phone is developer support
Thank you
Pro version will have better community development.
I would love to but looks like the pro wont come into my budget
So there will be complete lack of support or just that it will be slow?
I'd say very very slow. Mi 9T is an international version and there's almost nothing available for this device.
But, there's one good news, some (if not most) mods available for the k20 Pro/9T Pro will be compatible with the non pro version.
Actually, unless they are specific for the SD855, should work on our device.

I do.
It's working almost perfectly, the issues I found are:
• Camera pops up every reboot
• Screen needs to be awake to use the fingerprint
• Charging led not working (this one should be very easy to fix)
Developers are working on the other fixes, I bet they will be working perfectly very soon.
i hope it will be some custom, real rom, for this device, no need a lot, just some major ( lineage, havoc, maybe pixel experience)

Can you check if Android Auto is working? I am looking to buy this phone, but am afraid that some stupid hardware issue is causing Android Auto to fail. If it is just software, I would be fine with installing a rom.

I decided to dual boot my gaming rig. Relearning how to build is a PITA. Downloading source and syncing repo is easy. But getting a successful build is hard. I may not succeed

Get a petition going pal..
I'd be in for it! RR is the only ROM that I used long-time on any of my phone's. Usually I'd just switch between like. Bliss, LOS, PE, Havoc and such as they all have things I don't like or miss and RR was the one ROM that had it all...
If you need testers with a EU 8 Pro (IN2023) i'd be up for that!
RR was definitely a impressive dish...

RR is good but I've flashed Havoc or Evolution X since my 5T. I found the setting options better.

RR has added 100s more options. They have integrated a fully customizable theme also. Like fully transparent, pure black/white, changing icons, colors, fonts, navbar buttons, etc. I left havoc for RR and will never go back.
So, as of right now, this project is being abandoned by the dev I was working with and myself. We had too many build errors. We need a proper repo from Lineage which is not available.
Stay tuned.......
We are more than likely going to have it have the rom forced to 60hz but it's still a work in process on the build side. We have it 65%+ successful build.
Good to hear!
Just leave this right here
Btw, I am NOT the dev responsible for this
Ladies and gentlemen. 120hz works fine. Actually the only bug is fingerprint and adding 60hz and 90hz(work in progress).

Wouldn't bother with 60hz just add FHD as a switch from QHD as QHD can cause issues with battery depletion and green tint along with other things.
120hz is preferred by 99% of users anyway.

No green tint here. I've been running it and testing everything

Neither do I have any of the other reported issues or the green tint, but myself and yourself are two people
If a developer is going to release a ROM then they should take others into account.
Or is all this work just for yourself? That's not what XDA is really about is it?
QHD will burn your battery down faster than FHD and the difference is minimal, that will affect you too.
Your call.
