How to install clockwork recovery mode? - Newbie sorry!!

Hi there can anyone give me a step by step guide to installing the clockwork recovery mode so I can install a custom rom from zip please? This is for the LG GT540 thanks!!

here the rom with recovery
V20B - CIS from 20 of sept. (custom upgrated bootloader v0.8 - 210mb for fastboot upload)

enter fastboot - CAMERA+POWER
if you saw a black screen with no logos - you fastboot "
you need to write a command for upload recovery

Ok so I flash the ROM using KDZ Updater = All well and good.
Now I follow your commands to enter this "fastboot business", I get the LG logo come up then it goes to a black screen... So I assumed it was in fastboot?? (not sure what fastboot is lol)
Then I got to windows command prompt I assume u mean? and type the command in pointing it to the android SDK tools folder?
Then I enter the command and it just stays on <Waiting for device> and thats as far as I get? hmm...
ALSO THE PHONE WAS PURCHASED FROM CARPHONE WAREHOUSE WHICH NO MATTER WHAT METHOD I TRY TO ROOT THE PHONE IT DOESNT HAVE IT! Dunno why??

Hi! if i already updated with Baltic V20D Official can i reflash with that one so that i can get Fastboot? ;o

Hi After updating .kdz using KDZ updater itreid to do fast boot (CAMERA+POWER)
it is not doing fast boot.. it is doing a normal boot

My steps.
Try wiping the phone before performing any rooting or flashing. z4Root Worked right out of the box for me. These were my steps:
Install z4Root
Perm Root
Powercycled
Downloaded SuperUser
Downloaded Terminal Emulator
Downloaded Rom Manager
Open SuperUser. ALLOW
Open Terminal Emulato. type SU. ALLOW
Open Rom Manager.
Flash ClockWork Recovery
Boot into Clockwork
Wipe phone.Wipe Dalvik.Wipe cache
Install rom.
Reboot.
Enjoy.

Please i need help c: i run 2.2.1 openswift and if i flash clockwork is my rom gone then?

The answer is No, Because the recovery will be in different partition. so u will not loose your ROM if u flash with new recovery.img

Guys,how do I go from 2.2.1 to 2.1 I tried with kdz but I showed Arm 11 crash!!!!

Last week i also got this error.. but don't worry
follow this u should be able to come out from this issue
1. Remove battery,SIM,Memory card from your phone
2. Connect you phone with your PC using USB cable
3. When its booting press Volume down and Power button until it shows download mode in the phone screen
4. Remove your USB cable from PC
5. Insert the battery
6. Now try to flash your phone using KDZ software update (use the ROM with fastboot)
if u don't hv ROM with fastboot download it from here http://www.mediafire.com/?4r5n1cj5v49151p
Always it is better to,
1. Unroot your phone before flashing with KDZ software ( i don't know why, but i got Arm 11 crash when i tried to flash with out unrooting)
2. Wait while updating if it stuck at call_fun upgrade or Change to Dload Mode

1. Flash Quarx black 2.1 ROM in fastboot mode (ht*p://rghost.net/2898235)
2. Use KDZ software update and install official ROM
3. Download the required version of official rom from this site (http://android.modaco.com/content/l...daco-com/311477/lg-gt540-rom-updates-from-lg/)

Guys,my phone shows Arm 11 crashed again on 2.1 without fastboot.
I go to the download mode and on kdz updater load kdz file and type on EMERGENCY,DIAG,CS_EMERGENCY and its say THE PHONE NOT FOUND!!!
How to fix this??
I tried to put Europe Open+Fastboot rom and its say again THE PHONE NOT FOUND!!!
EDIT:I fix it

I can't do that it my Phone, my phone only vibrates whe i try to torn on.

step by step please.

download fastboot zip
download fastboot tools
extract to a folder in pc
power off phone and connect to pc by pressing vol up botton + power button for grtting fastboot mod
or you can come to fastboot mod in advance reboot
flash the rom using flash all from the above folder
wait until full flash and flash screen will disappeared from pc
roboot ok

Scc-u21 fastboot mode stuck

Hello Guys , I had tried to flash custom ROM for my scc-u21 so I had.
Rooted my device using kingroot
downloaded the ROM and TWRP img
installed Rashr to flash TWRP
tried to Flash TWRP using rashr but it's opened fastboot mod and says Please connect your phone to Hisuit
Phone: Unlocked
SRP: Unlock
so when I try to flash TWRP.img it open fastboot mode only
Tried Method Voulme up + Power it open Fastboot
Tried Download mode Volm up & down + power But already same fastboot mode
But My Device Opening Software Normally
maybe I won't to Format it because of Fastboot mode
what I have to do?!
that's because I didn't Unlocked my bootloader?!
And tell me what I have to Do please I wanna get back stock recovery , or TWRP recovery to flash custom ROM

Unlock your bootloader, then Flash the stock recovery through fastboot. You probably won't even loose your data

Stuck in Fastboot

Hi all!
I have tryed to flash Android Q on my Redmi Note 7 (Global) everything seemed to go smooth till i rebooted and the deviced got stuck in fastboot mode, i tryed to flash TWRP, it goes OKAY but if i reboot i cant access recovery anyway.
I also tryed to use "fastboot boot recovery.img", it does send the image but fails to boot into recovery saying "failed to load/authenticate boot image..."
Am i doing something wrong? How can i solve this?
I thought of MiFlash Tool, but there are many version and some seems not to work properly can anyone provide a working link?
(Ofc, my bootloader is unlocked etc)

After you flash TWRP you can't access via command, because MIUI will re-write the recovery again once you restart, first flash the TWRP (fastboot flash recovery the-name-of-the-file.img) after that you must reboot to recovery manually by holding together "Volume Up + Power" until you see the MI logo, release "Power" button but keep pressing "Volume Up" until you see the recovery, after you are in TWRP, (mount the internal storage (Data) or if you already copied OrangeFox Recovery Zip to device) then just flash OrangeFox R10_2, it will reboot itself after that to the recovery again and that's all, you will have a custom recovery ready.
Now, if you already tried to flash the ROM and everything went wrong, I guess your device is bricked, now you need a FASTBOOT ROM for your device (if it's complete global = PFGMIXM / because there's global europe too, that's PFGEUXM) and the MiFlashTool, unzip the Fastboot ROM, open the MiFlashTool, load the ROM Folder in the tool while the phone is connected to the PC, and then just flash it, steps with images are in Xiaomi site, here's the link Fasboot Method
ps: the tool have below one option to flash and re-lock the bootloader, it will be selected by default, leave it like that if you want to re-lock it, or change it to clean all to leave it unlock it

You have a smart phone! Don't want to accept redmi note 7 pro (violet) rom to be flashed to note 7 (lavender) phone.

Nubia Z17 fastboot error pls help

My TWRP recovery was erased when I back to official rom even I hadnt mark that option in twrp recovery. Now when I go till fastboot to instal TWRP I can only do 2 commands then it stops working , but I need 3 commands to instal the twrp. HOW do I FIX it? pleeeease
I have installed the right drivers and every step before it works completly fine.
The fastboot mode screen stay frozen then the phone turns off
Fastboot devices ok
Fastboot oem nubia_unlock NUBIA_Z17 NX563J ok
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img not ok, just frozen screen then turns off
It has the last nubia official rom
Can I use the official local update app in manual update to flash recovery?
I need it so much to install gapps
Or do exist another whey to install gapps no Nubia Z17 without TWRP?

To flash recovery download twrp 3.5,
Put it into minimal adb folder, copy its name run cmd with administrative rights withing minimal adb and use *fastboot flash recovery "copied name".img

My phone (Nubia z17) don't work. Only fastboot mode and recovery mode work. Please help me

give you a easy app for flash TWRP3.2.3,but is chinese.unzip the zip file。if phone is turn on.(Developer options should be turned on）type 2 and clik "ENTER".best is phone on BL（Turn off the phone, press and hold the volume - button and power button at the same time to enter BL mode.）.then type 3 and clik "ENTER".when you see "OK",then Use the volume keys to select recovery mode, then press the power key.
