Hello,
I work for an IT Department that uses lots of Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T530 . Problem is I am trying to find ways to bypass the password for a specific tablet. I tried to enable the Wi-Fi, so That I can unlock it from Android/Samsung device manager but it won't let me without the password. I also tried to factory reset it from recovery mode but it won't let me. It says "MDM does not allow factory reset. Phone will reboot automatically." . I also tried to flash the stock Samsung ROM through Odin, but It still asks for a password. Any ideas for what I should do to unlock it?

OS - Android Marshmallow 6.0.1
I tried to root the OS. I managed to connect to ODIN and did a recovery from a recovery file shared over internet. However that recovery has a password pattern which didn't allow me to access my phone. After several attempts phone showed a message saying that phone will reset to factory settings. After which phone stuck at Initial LOGO.
Please provide some inputs in getting my phone operational.

There may be two things which may be done
1. Since you've done factory reset The first boot may take some time so wait for 20min and make sure it's working
2. If it's not working yet . Then the recovery file you've have flashed is wrong or you've flashed in the wrong partition . There is also chance that you've interupted the process.
These flashing tools are somewhat complicated I've faced many problems because if any settings weren't set correctly then it would mess all your mobile and also the version you use is very important..
So, contact the developers who are working for the specified mobile for more help. Because they would have over come these issues .
Suggestion:- Never Experiment the odin on your mobile without knowing the every detail before
Hi I have my friends Galaxy S5 Neo and he done a factory reset and its ended up now showing Unauthorised Reset I have reflashed the latest software 6.0.1 with odin3 v3.13 with success but after this its still showing the Unauthorised Reset then I reflashed it with 5.1.1 with success and is still the same showing the Unauthorised Reset when it reboots and looks for the internet to get the gmail or Samsung info but says no internet connection, even though I have added my wireless key into the wifi network setting which showed connected
Do I need the PDA or the CSC firmware version for this phone
really grateful for any advise to get this back up and running for him
many thanks in advance
Once you flashed the firmware via odin did you go to recovery mode and perform a data wipe/factory reset?
guys , I'm at i don't know what the @%#%$ to do. I just bought this phone online and it is for locked . I am having the same issue, I factory reset and everything , but when it goes to connect to wifi or data. It never does it just keeps spinning and spinning never connects. Plz help. The old owner has given me his email and password to get past the FRP but I can not due to the fact I can't get past the connection part
I had this as well. I bought an S5 (not Neo) from eBay with that reported message (which the seller acknowledged up front)
Several fixes were available on YouTube, Google, and the rest. They all supposedly work on the principle of spoofing the phone to get past the lack of a browser, from which you can correct things.
None of those worked for me.
In the end, I had to prepare a USB stick with some recovery sofware on and boot the phone from that, which runs a custom APK to get you back to normal.
I know this is an old thread, but if you want, I'll try and find the information on the custom App on a stick.
PS. You will need a USBOTG cable, to be able to plug in the usb stick (or one with dual ports).

Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T237P WHITE 16GB CUSTOM ROM
My mother was given this tablet and it is running a custom ROM. I can't access any of the settings because of a screen lock to unlock Developer Settings. Odin doesn't recognize the app in system recovery mode. The Wipe Data/Factory Reset option doesn't work and has been disabled.
I have a 16GB and 32GB microSD cards but can't figure out how to flash the original ROM.
I am just trying to get this tablet back to factory settings. After that, I can figure out the rest but i have exhausted all my known options to reset this thing. Any and all help would be appreciated.
I don't know if it will help, but I have the "T237PVPU1ANL1_... ...ANL1_HOME.tar.md5" file downloaded.
Can anyone help me?

What you wanna do is flash the original ROM for your device: to do this you would need to open ODIN, select the AP box, place your file in and then click the 'START' box.
BUT You need to
- Boot your device into Download Mode (I'm pretty sure it's holding one of the volume buttons and then the power button, some Samsung devices require you to press the home button)
- You must have a laptop that is at least running Windows XP or newer versions of the Operating System (If you are running a Linux Distro, you could use Heimdall which is similar to Odin, but I find it more complicating to use)
- You must plug your device into the USB ports on your laptop.
- Make sure that you have downloaded the correct ROM for your device, installing the wrong STOCK ROM that is meant for another device, could possibly hard brick your device and that would be extremely hard to fix
Once you click the 'Start' Button, you have to wait ~5-10 minutes or longer for it to fully flash the STOCK SAMSUNG ROM until ODIN tells it is Successful. Now you wait for the device to boot up and there you go, you can finally use your Samsung Galaxy TAB 4.
Hi everyone!
So my daughters mother uses a POS Samsung J1-6 (Samsung J1 SM-J120W), that she refuses to upgrade. Recently, she forgot her password for the phone. I tried to do a factory reset, but now it gives the error:
"An unauthorized attempt has been made to reset your device to factory default settiings. Connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network to verify your identity."
Is there any way to reset the phone to stock without the password? Or is this phone heading for the recycle bin?
Thanks!

Hey!
In the company that I work an ex-collaborator left the Samsung Galaxy A20e he was using professionally. During the time he used it, he probably activated FRP, now we want to unlock the phone to give to another collaborator. I've tried to do factory reset at first when I didn't know about FRP.
Now I'm seeing some tutorials that says that we can remove the FRP lock, but I need USB debugging and I can't access the system to activate it.
Is there something I can do?
Same problem as here:
