Hello, recently I've encountered an issue. After flashing a google experience rom, I started experiencing minor screen flashing issues, the screen went black every 5 minutes for a second or so, after a few days it doesn't turn on. When booting into TWRP or Fastboot everything works fine, no flickering is showing up. Flashed global rom an hour ago, wiped everything including vendor. The setup did not have any flickering, but when I got into the home screen the screen shut off. Seems like a software issue to me, not a hardware one. What could be the solution?

Hi guys,
I have an HTC Sapphire (HTC Magic from Vodafone UK). Problem with it this morning stopping me using it so urgently need some help!! I've included all details I can think of below to help someone diagnose the issue.
Been a very happy CM user for several months now and upgraded to 5.0.8 just a week or two ago. I did a full backup and wipe and haven't had any problems with it until last night.
Just before going to bed I noticed when pushing the menu/red button to turn the screen on, the keypad lights would light up but the screen wouldn't turn on. This happened a couple times in the last week but taking the battery out and restarting resolved it before. So I did that last night and it started up again and I went to sleep.
This morning I went to use the phone and it seemed a little strange, like some of my settings were back to default (security lock pattern went red when wrong, no battery % in title etc.), but the phone worked and I could make a call.
I then tried to configure the settings but as soon as I tried to enter any category I got FC's in the Settings app. So I restarted...(strangely silent/airplace modes weren't options, only reboot/switch off)
This time after the red Vodafone boot logo the phone got stuck in a boot loop - (CM specific: the 4-colour X swirl would be OK but after 3/4 silver X swirls the 4-colour one would start again) and this continues until pulling the battery out.
Left battery out a while but no help.
Went into recovery console and wiped cache - startup took a lot longer but still eventually got stuck in a restart loop.
Will reflashing CM help? Should I bother with a wipe (would rather not cause no backup!)
ANY OTHER IDEAS??? I'm really stuck/frustrated/depressed right now as this is my only phone and I'm not even living in my home country so am really cut off right now.

I devoted myself a complete evening into fixing my little brothers GS5. 2 weeks ago he told me he was installing an original Samsung update. However after this update his phone would randomly turn off after a few minutes of being on. So I guessed something was wrong with the software. I flashed a stock rom onto the phone, but now it doesn't even boot. I tried multiple stock versions of Android 4x 5x and 6 for the GS5. None of them made the phone boot. Sometimes it showed the Samsung logo, but most often just black screen. I can't boot into recovery either, the same story. I tried twrp, the lights of the buttons were on, but the screen wouldn't turn on. When the phone normally boots with a black screen I sometimes get notifications though. LED flashes sometimes and there's audio.
Anyone having any thoughts how I can fix this? Help is much appreciated!

im here on a strange problem.
Two N910C's
Both on 6.0.1 and clean flashed eRobot v6
One device works fine without problems.
The second one runs into trouble.
Random times the screen goes black and everything is unresponsive. Only way to bring it back is to pull battery.
Sometimes this happens again shortly after pulling the battery. Same procedure again an it works ... for some time.
Anybody knows what causes this or maybe has an idea?

The problem started a few days back, after using my phone display just stops working ie the screen goes black as if it is switched off although I get calls and message notifications. This started to become more frequent but a couple of restarts with no display used to do the trick. The day before yesterday, no matter how many restarts display remained off at first I thought this might be a rom issue so I flashed stock rom. phone booted up and after 20 mins of usage, the screen started going black yet again. and no number of restarts could again fix the problem. Now the phone display turns up every once in a day for about 10 mins. Also when I get into the bootloader ( when the display works) the text all get distorted after some time with lots of green and pink lines running here and there. any guess what the issue might be? Is it the displays problem or any other hardware? Please help
So phone worked fine running AOSiP current Pie then out of nowhere when I would reboot I'd randomly get a blank screen. Adb and fastboot commands still worked and eventually, after a few attempts it'd boot normally. Then the other day, after running great, I picked it up and was froze at the lock screen. Now every time the screen times out it freezes at the lock screen and can only be unlocked after a reboot, if I don't get the blank screen that is, and only right after booting but if the screen times out at all it freezes. Also, mic quit working for Google Assistant and voice to text in Messenger. Once unlocked everything works great, except the mic issue no freezes or glitches. I've flashed back to stock all the way back to the last Oreo updates and even ran with no restored apps or data and these problems exist each and every time. Any ideas?
