Hi, I bought the new Mi 9t and have two questions.
Is it possible to just hear the popup sound, when in mute mode?
And can I add custom sounds for that? The stock ones are extremely boring and I want a lightsaber sound.
Thank you
1. You can only hear the motor when in mute mode. 2. Not that i know of.

Hey All,
Is there any way to make the speaker louder? This is for general music playing, as well as speakerphone etc. On the XDA2 you could turn it up to the point it distorted...but the i-mate etc dont seem to go that high.
is there any 3rd party program to boost the speaker volume (i know it wont go that much higher without distortion, but the option would be nice).
Cheers,
Jez.
me too
This is the only thing, in my opinion, that is not perfect about htis device. I wish the speaker was a little louder for speaker phone. Also, it would be great if someon could figure out how to make speaker phone kick in automatically when you use voice dial.

Hello,
The speaker is small and can hold only a minimum dbs of sound. If it becomes more louder, you get the sound distorted and may spoil the speaker's cones too. But for low volume sounds, you may try boosting!
Hi Carty, how do you boost the sound?
Cheers
hi
hello everybody ! i`m also finding a way to increase sound of speaker, & in call how it was on mpx200 used to
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\InCall]
"InitVol"=dword:00000005
you can try, may be it seems to me ?! but a little better
hey i know this sounds dumb but for all without stereo speakers is it possible to use the front speaker along with the loudspeaker(where music nomally plays).
i mean like the earpiece(where you nomally listen 2 phone calls) is quite load aient it possible to Play the eg left on earpiece n right on loudspeaker i know this sounds dumb but mayb it possible it kinda like how when you are making a phone call you are able to switch between the 2 speakers…
MY QUESTION CAN YOU OUTPUT SOUND FROM BOTH AT THE SAME TIME?
is there any way to make the speaker and ringer volume louder than stock max setting i work in a real noisy area and a lot of the time its very hard to hear
thanks in advance
jack
Instead of making it louder, why not just try putting it on vibrate...? Just sayin.

has anyone found a way yet to mke the rear speaker louder when on speaker phone?
ring + vibrate + high pitch tone
thatll help you out the best. I got that power rangers Beep communicator thing because that worked the best even when I was driving the forklift I could hear it.
Honestly you dont wanna go to loud, you may blow your speaker >< then that would really suck
Use the 'Noisy One' ringer to make sure you always hear it - that's the only ringer I can hear every time.
As for speakerphone, you've touched on my only complaint with the G2 - the speakerphone isn't very good and requires holding it to your ear (which defeats the point, eh?)
You can try Old Phone Ringtones (from the Market). Some of those ringtones are really loud.
Hey guys I realize you are trying to be helpful but telling someone to "put it on vibrate" and "download louder ringtones" is not very helpful (The Vibrate sux on the G2 I usually hear it vibrating instead of feeling it ). I too am looking for a way to boost the speaker sound like I did with my G1 using "Louder Volume Hack". I have Loud ringers but that does not help with custom ringtones or with the reason I went with Android, To make it function the way I want it to, I am sure most of you also feel this way.
Also of Note: I can get the Speaker to the desired Volume using an Poweramp equalizer to boost the volume of music, considering all the apps out there I am surprised that no-one has created a hack to do this on the newer phones.

Hello,
Anyone have a mod for the volume like we had on the Oneplus One.
The loudspeaker is not very loud, and the general ringtones are very quiet too.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, so, almost in any custom ROM when the earphones are blugged in, alarm becomes silent and when getting a phone call, the sound comes through the earphones. It's really annoying. Any fix?
Isn't the call sound meant to come through the earphones when they're plugged in? Anyway, you might find the SoundAbout app does what you want - recommend purchasing the Pro version for additional features and output options, but here's the free one:
