the download folder doesn't appears or appears with a strange name

[HELP] Trying to transfer my rig, now I get a "Verification Failed" message on boot!
This is urgent! Please help1
I tried to transfer my phone's rig to another of the same phone. A guide here said to use TWRP's backup feature. I failed at doing the Odin flash the first couple times and accidentally booted into the system. I got a "Verification Failed" screen, with the only options being factory reset, and power off/restart. I figured this would go away once I flashed TWRP right, so I did, did that backup, but I noticed the backup was only ~4GB. I tried to mount the Data partition, but it reports 0B and won't mount. Every time I boot I get the same screen. I don't know what to do and I have no phone... and I need my data.. Please help!!! EDIT I also can't access TWRP anymore, and the normal recovery says "successfully verify for dmverity hash tree"

EDIT EDIT: I managed to boot using the standard recovery's reboot option... But I don't want this to happen again. Is there an easy way?
Hello,
I have an issue with my brand new G6.
It is in a loop "Your device is corrupt it cannot be trusted and will not boot" , no more recovery available.
What i did:
I unlocked the bootloader and flashed Magisk via TWRP the device displayed that the partition was corrupt and need to be erased.
After that the device was in a loop to twrp, whatever the wipe or ... no system boot.
I read that i had to format the data partition so i adapted a what i found here to my available partitions
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g3/general/fix-recovery-loop-twrp-computer-t2873386
the device is now in a constant loop.
Does someone can help me please ?
is there any way to recover it ? download mode ? how ?
Update : I succeed to boot into download mode but LGUP gives me an error while trying to flash
error 0x2000 ... ... cefs::initialize()

Can you boot to TWRP?
Did you make a backup and have access to it? Especially the EFS partition? If you do, restore the EFS partition.
If you can boot to TWRP, try the following:
- wipe everything (the option where you have to type 'yes').
- download lineageOS and flash it. If this is working fine, install whatever ROM you want to install.
no access to twrp anymore , no backup , only access to download mode now
is there a way to flash back twrp or stock recovery from download mode ? boot into fastboot ?
(i know... i have no excuses , but made that so many times without issues ...)
thank you in advance
Maybe you should go in download mode and flash stock Rom with LGUP.
LGUP gives me an error while trying to flash the rom error 0x2000 ... ... cefs::initialize()
Can you flash twrp through lgup or fastboot?
For those that could be in the same situation i finally succeed to flash with LGUP last version but without the 8894DLL
the error was probably coming from the dll.
Cheers and thanks all for the answers

It's probably a problem with the DLL, try to extract it from the kdz and input it in Lgup folder (I don't remember where and I'm not home, check the main thread for that) and after that retry flashing
EDIT : well you were faster than my phone glad it worked for you.
Hi.
CAN-L11
Unlocked bootloader, rooted etc.
When i want back to factory settings, twrp show me information about encrypted data. So i vipe data (found this solution in google...) and when phone boot up there is error about unsuccesful decrypt data or something like that.
At next im boot into fastboot and flash by fastboot firmware boot, recovery, system and cust from update.app.
At now when i turn off phone i see only information "my phone is untrusted.... device is booting now" and nothing happens.
When i try to recovery firmware from sdcard (dload folder) it stuck at 5%.
What can i do ? I read many threads about that and there is many possible solutions but i dont wanna to make a bigger mess with my phone.
Sorry about my english
Unplug USB cable. Try another update.app?
DC-unlocker is a good solution bro, i had serious problem and i fixed and i get official nougat android,i have nova dual sim...
So, I have here a great old Note 4.
It has the generic mmc errors that cause it issues when booting and sleeping so I decided to give it a new rom. I bumped it into developer options, enabled usb debugging and fastboot and turned it off. I opened up odin, found the right twrp file to flash as well as a stock rom. I loaded it up and fired. The issue then was that the PIT partition had issues. Pit partition failed on odin's side, and flash read failure as well as a pit error of some sort on the phone's side. So I did my homework. I then tried to flash a new .pit file, I made sure the boxes were filled out correctly, had the right pit file as well as a correct stock rom, and the right drivers. It failed again with exactly the same errors. I don't know how you can manage saying that you can't flash the file your trying to fix but whatever. So I did more research and continued to change the usb cable to the original one that came with the phone, change the usb port, change versions of odin, use administrator privileges, find another .pit file, and change the pc. None of these worked, they all gave the same errors no matter what I did. So I moved on to see what else I could do, there was only one more issue though, the phone wouldn't boot up to an OS, if I tried to boot up normally it would boot into recovery, and if I booted into recovery it would boot into download mode with a message saying that the mme error caused it to. SO I couldn't do anything like flashfire or rom manager nor could I do something like root the device! So I did more homework, I turned to adb, because I saw something about an alternative to odin. Unfortunately, the phone has to boot up so you can connect it properly before you boot into download mode. So I did more homework and can't get anywhere, I am completely lost as to what to do because I can't flash odin or adb and sd card can only flash .zip files. I have no idea where to find a .zip for cwm or twrp that will work for my phone and the 2 files that I thought would work only gave me errors. I definitely am drowning in error messages and hope someone who knows what in the world is going on can help me get out of this mess.
Sincerely,
TiffPiff

Flash stock rom via fastboot.
And try to reboot to bootloader from twrp it'll put you in fastboot mode.

That's what I told the person to do in short he/she didn't respond.
He/she should update the thread whether he/she got it working by doing something or fixed it via service center. Others just try to help without knowing if it is needed or not.
First of all, i want to say i'm sorry to all of you.. especially for those who tried to help me by replying my thread. I'm sorry for being silent and not updating on you guys. I managed to figure it out the next day after i posted this thread before any of you replied and just kinda forget this thread- which is a bad thing to do. I'm sorry guys. I won't do that ever again.
With that out of the way, i'm going to answer all of your replies

I tried that, it didn't work. Either reboot to system or bootloader, it just went back to TWRP.. with the "Keep System Read Only?" thing.. acting like i just installed TWRP for the first time. Even when i chose to turn off the device, it came back to TWRP.

Again, sorry for that
Here's what i did to fix the issue :
1. After some more searching in the next morning (literally the next morning, few minutes before i gone to school), i stumbled to this thread post : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522426
it says that if you "Put the phone under a strong light and longpress power and volume down, your phone will reboot in bootloader.".
So i tried that. I hold my phone right in front of my monitor, then hold the power and volume up to get into fastboot mode. And Voila, it worked. I get into fastboot without any problem whatsoever.
Somebody else also replied "Just hold the power and volume down for a long time and hold it in front of a bright light, something about the proximity sensor."
So.. yeah. Didn't really know how it worked out, but it worked. :silly:
2. After that, i just installed a different version of TWRP (This one specifically https://dl.wafuu.id/twrp/X00T/twrp-3.2.3-0-X00T-20181214.img which i got from someone in the telegram group) and just redo the HavocOS installing process. It went smooth, and i manage to boot the system without any problem.
Problem solved. Just like that. However, i think i know what was causing the issue.
When i was trying to install the GApps (before stuck in bootloop), i only managed to get to the part when i had to choose to either save my choices or not. After that it just went back to TWRP. I didn't know that it wasn't actually installed yet, because i thought it was installed already. Yep, that was my first time installing GApps and i actually never seen the entire installing process. The way i know that is when i installed it after the fix (after i installed a different TWRP) and then saw the "installing things" part. Silly me.
So i think that was the issue. It was because i used an older version of TWRP which i got from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-x-t3787134 . Maybe GApps didn't support that version. I knew it was an old version of TWRP. Why i was using that version and not the latest one? Because when i tried to install the latest one from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...ent/recovery-unofficial-twrp-3-2-3-0-t3888110 , it didn't work on my phone. It fails to detect my internal memory (0mb).
I think that's all i can say. Again, i'm sorry to all you guys for the late respond. Thank you for replying my thread and trying to help me. I hope this thread will eventually help someone who faced a similar problem to mine.
*Last but not least, Shout out to Dyruz from the telegram group who provided me the working TWRP and tried to help me as best as he can. I would've not fix the issue this because of him. Cheers!
