You can try formatting the device from recovery mode. If the problem continues then you can try flashing your device with Lenovo Moto smart assistant app. It will flash your device.(note:- flashing will erase data)

As said, formatting from recovery or flashing stock with fastboot or Motorola Lenovo Smart Assistant.
More interesting: What caused that bootloop?
What was the last thing you did before?

Stuck in Bootloop w/ no Recovery

Hi
Yesterday, my phone suddenly crashed and turned off and restarted. My phone has been rooted and unlocked for about 6 months now with no issues and I did not do anything to it last night to change that.
Now, I am stuck between the "Google" logo boot and the "Your device cannot be checked for corruption." I can get into the bootloader and the device is shown on fastboot, but not adb. I have tried flashing the Stock img and it seems to work, but then it doesn't change anything.
If anyone could offer advice/insight that would be much appreciated! Thank you
Have you tried fastboot format data, fastboot format userdata and lastly fastboot format cache?

I though I have just bricked my phone, please help...

Hi all,
I have try to go back to stock by follow this procedure.
- Coming from Official LineageOS
- Wipe cache, dalvik, data via TWRP
- flash bootstack and stock system from here
- restart system and everything work fine except I have an unlocked bootloader
- so I try to lock bootloader by using Axon7Toolkit from this thread
- The phone was restart but unable to boot to android coz it stuck with "Enter passcode" page and I have try any password include "default_password" but still fail
- I try to enter passcode several times till it guide me to factory reset instead to wipe all user data
- but when it try to factory reset, it stuck with a black screen when loading to recovery mode
Luckily, the phone still could enter to Factory Test Mode when I press Volume down + power button and could get on ADB
Anyone have any suggestion, please help... :crying::crying:
PS. I'm on G model

No, and I though it was reset to stock recovery because I did not flash SuperSU following step 7 in this thread
Finally solve !!
I've followed this thread again by re-flashing TWRP then do a factory reset and now it's on the way setting up !!
Thanks all

I'm sorry for your loss. To me it sounds like something may be physically damaged.
To elaborate a bit further, fastboot doesn't usefully exist without root, stock recovery can only wipe your userdata, and you've already said download mode reboots way too early to try anything. There is no safe way to try anything with the firmware, if it even somehow is a firmware issue. There's the leaked firehose, if you force it into 9008 mode, but that's risky and I have no personal experience with it to give more details.
Basically don't expect it to be coming back.

Without it already being rooted and the dirtysanta bootloader installed there is no fastboot mode on anything (which you would have seen if you had read the OP) but the h918 (which still can't flash with it) and us996, and you still need a working phone to actually set the options in Android to allow unlocking the bootloader.
And I'd put it at like an 80% chance it's hardware failure anyway, since it's boot looping in download mode too.
Try holding down volume down and plugging in USB.......
Same issue herewith...
LG V20 boot loop , restarting again and again , also when USB cable method is applied to enter into the Download Mode , it also restarts after sometime after showing download mode icon etc........

Phone Stuck in Boot after Clearing Cache

Need Help!!!!
I cleared the cache from Stock recovery (which I do regularly) after that the phone is stuck in the boot at Zenfone logo (dots moving). However it does ask for the password before that and every thing works there, after that it is stuck there forever, nothing happens.
Things I have already tried:
1) Flashing Stock Rom using the Stock Recovery
2) Clearing the Cache again
3) Flashing the updated Stock Rom (Pie)
Able to boot in to recovery and fastboot mode, however bootloader is LOCKED and ADB is DISABLED as well.
Is there any way to recover the data from the phone? It is important for a legal case, and I was not in the position to take the backup, sorry for that.
It would be very greatfull if some once can help me recover this important data or start the phone.
Or should I just go ahead and factory reset the phone?

Moto G5 not booting. TWRP not booting. Factory mode from bootloader not working. Please help !

Hi
After a shutdown due to an empty battery, my phone entered a bootloop.
I launched TWRP and tried a backup to my pc via ADB, wich failed.
After this, TWRP got stuck. I removed the battery. At restart, TWRP entered bootloop too.
So i tried factory mode option from the bootloader. It doesnt event start, just shows indefinitely the screen "Your device has been unlocked [...] Your device will boot in 5 seconds".
Do you know any way to restore my data, or even to factory reset ?
My phone is not rooted.
Thanks !
Ok, so now the bootloader isnt working anymore
EDIT : finally i got the bootloader to load again, at least.
Same problem, just made a thread about it and found this post
