Does the default message app use WiFi or mobile when sending pics. My S10+ is very slow(like 3 to 5 minutes), Motorola Z4 play was way faster.
It uses data

Does anybody knows any working software that can:
- Keylogging all the text entered with the sip
OR
- log all the received/sent sms and calls in the background.
I have find some of them, for example veryspy, mobile spy or flexispy, but all require a data connection and the logs only can be viewed via a web.
Many thanks!
iKeyMonitor Will be Helpful
I suggest you try iKeyMonitor instead. iKeyMonitor is a reliable and invisible Keylogger for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch/Android which records passwords, keystrokes, calls, SMS and WhatsApp Messages, website visits, GPS and screenshots. All the logs can be delivered to your Email/FTP. Its free trials are available. You may also have a try first.
You get like 5 days of trial from the app mentioned above. So just try and get what your looking for in those 5 days OP

Hey everyone,
I'm running Pandora's Naked 6 rom on my unlocked Jasjam on the T-Mobile network.
I have this problem that occurs periodically when I open my standard messaging app: after about 5 seconds the whole app closes on me no matter what I do, whether it be composing an email, reading a sms; it just closes. Now, whenever I run the messaging app my device attempts to connect to "T-Mo MMS" to probably check for new mms messages to download from the server or something. Maybe it can't connect for some reason so it closes?
However, when I'm connected to a wi-fi network the messaging app behaves as it should with no problems. This happens on and off and is really getting aggravating b/c i can't read any messages unless i'm connected to a wi-fi network. I've checked and re-checked "My ISP" settings under connections multiple times but it has not helped.
Any Ideas?
Thanks!
Hy.
Do anyone know an app, maybe free, that if I lost or stolen my phone the app make pictures with the front camera and send it to an e-mail address or phone number with the current location? And if somebody make pictures/videos/phone call or send a sms, the app automatically (after a SIM card change too) send it to me or a preset address (e-mail/phone number)?
Thanks in advance!
I use an app called gotya unfortunately it's not a free app but it's cheap price on Google play it takes picture of person who tries to get into your phone plus it sends you an email with pic of person plus location very good app and there are other stuff you can do

I use tasker for this. I have created a profile for tasker in this manner- If not connected to home wifi AND if I send it a specific "xxxxxx yyy" message from a certain number, it activates a certain tasker profile. Then it does the following every time someone tries to unlock via pattern lock- take front and rear pictures, turn on gps and mobile data, send pictures and gps coordinates every 25 minutes to a certain number and email. It also does the same routine every time I send it a specific message like say "location update" from a certain number. Once battery level reaches 30%- start backing up data to cloud accounts.
It can be programmed to do more of course lol but that would drain its battery very quickly. Also if someone just pulls out the battery/sim card, puts a new sim card, and then flashes a new rom, there's not much that can be done I guess with tasker or an app..
I like 'where's my droid'
Cerburus is my personal favourite
But these are not free And I do not want to use it via sms. I more prefer the website communication.
Prey.
Edit - You do realise there's a very simple/logical reason why most of these apps use activation SMS's (rather than web based); if I'm a thief & nick someone's phone, the last thing I'm going to do is turn mobile data on, but obviously if I'm going to actually use the phone, I'm going to leave mobile networks on.
I use avg anti virus protection it works great.

Since someone sold my S4 last month and I was careless by not installing any kinda anti-theft or security, i googled a lot about this stuff after buying my new phone. Always set a password/pattern lock for your phone. It not just helps against thieves but also against nosey family members/friends/co-workers, etc. About the free anti-virus/anti-theft app that captures pictures from the front camera as well as the capture location and sends you an email, Lookout Security & Antivirus works just fine. It takes a picture of the person that incorrectly enters your password/pattern more than 3 or so times. It also has a signal flare feature which emails you the location of your phone when the battery is low. For all this to work well though, i suggest turning on your phone's GPS along with the mobile data when you leave your home (assuming you're on wifi there). It might affect your battery life a bit but it's worth it imo. Samsung also has some anti-theft features built in btw. Go in Settings>More>Security and you'll see a 'Find my mobile' tab with Remote Controls and SIM change alert, set them both up asap. Also once you do all this, in the Security settings, go into Device administrators and make sure Android Device Manager and Lookout are both checked. Hopefully this helps you!
Try prey

Well I use Cerberus now, and I bought it
It is great. Via SMS commands works fine.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this issue -
Have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on Verizon. Was using Android Messenger by Google as my SMS app. About three weeks ago, my wife's texts from her Samsung Galaxy S7 on Verizon (also generated by Android Messenger) started coming in under the name "Anonymous" instead of her contact info and I could not text her (either as a reply or a new message). After some troubleshooting, we both switched to the default Samsung texting app and I can, usually, text her. However, sometimes, I get "Error 5: Other Network Error" when texting her. By waiting a while the message will go through. Android Messenger (which I keep trying to switch to) refuses to send messages to her - via the phone or Android Messenger for Web.
I can't find any discussion that this is a known issue for Android Messenger. I can't find any settings on either phone or Verizon online that says that there's some issue. Does anyone have any thoughts?
hey i had the same problem.
what i had to do was disable the samsung messaging app before setting the Android messenger app to default.

Weird. Well, it won't let me do that for some reason, but I did learn that I was behind on OTA updates by about 2 months. After doing both Aug. and Sept., it works. Not sure why. Guess we can mark this as solved.
I'm trying to figure out if there is anything besides the normal intelligent control/optimize/don't optimize that could be affecting an app working in the background?
I use Google Messages on both my phone and PC (messages.google.com) to keep from having to pick up my phone a billion times a day. I had very few issues with my phone showing as "Connected" in the web app with my OP7P, but within a minute or two of locking my screen on the OP8P, the web app shows "connecting" and won't typical work again until I wake up my phone and open Messages (waking the phone alone isn't enough).
Messages is set to "Don't Optimize" in the app settings, just like it was on my OP7P. Is the 8P more aggressive about letting apps stay awake?
**EDIT**
Google Messages is the number one app under "detailed usage" at 11% for the day, so it's definitely not for lack of running. Maybe it it's just an issue with the app on this phone.
I'm using mine now, Mac though, but it works from home too.
Haven't changed any settings for battery optimization.
Forget computer on messages for web.
On phone, force close, clear data, uninstall app.
Reboot.
Reinstall app, reconnect to g messages via QR
Also im using the app not the web version, seems to work better.
