Well I have a doubt, I lost the original charger that came with my s10 plus and now I'm going to buy another one, a guy I know is selling his "unused" charger from his s8 plus, so my question is will it fast charge my device?
And also could you recommend another fast charger, maybe not the OEM one...
Pretty sure it will fast charge just fine. I'm charging mine with a USB-C charger that came with my Microsoft Lumia 950 back in 2015 and it is fast charging just fine .

Is it possible that the MXP charge very low (1Amp.) without a QC2.0 Loader?
I have test a Samsung 2A Loader and a Amazon 2,1A Laoder with original Motorola Cable but is charge around 3h till its full charged?! That is very 2010 like :/ I dont have a QC2.0 Charger in my Car, by my Friends, at work.......
Min 1,5A, that would be good.
Here is a Video that show it>>>

Facing the same issue here... More and more thinking to buy another Quick Charge plug
If I understand your question correctly, then yes you need a quick charge 2.0 charger to get a fast charge into the Play. Any other type of charger (regardless of rate) will just be a regular charger with the X Play.
Regular Charger ok.....but its charge only with 1A and this is very slow. A LG G2, Samsung Note 2 or a Huawei P8 charge with a regular Charger with 1,5A or 2A but not with 1A how the MXP. That is like a 2010 Phone :/ So, when I at work I have no QC2.0 Loader, or by friends.... an then the MXP charge from 10-100% in very long 3 Hours!!!!! Its really bad and hope Motorola fix this. (Huawei (P8) fix it by the first Update from 1A to 1,5A) Ps I have the European Version of the MXP!
Or .. Just buy a $20 quick charger ...
Read my Text!!!!!!!!!!!! Then I have to buy more than one! Easyier ist to use the Standard Charger by my Friends ..... and Motorola fix this and make that the MXP charge with minimum 1.5A. (better 2A)
But if you sit on Couch 24hours a Day, thats a good Idea !!!

Or .. Just buy two. Honestly, once you get a quick charger, you aren't going to be happy with generic 1.5a charging. I read your text perfectly fine. I bought two chargers. One for home, one to go. $40 for quality chargers isn't bad. It's not like it's one time use.
stock charger stopped working and phone no longer turbo charge.. tried a replacement that worked for 2 months and stopped as well.. phone only chargers with regular usb/chargers.. I'm guessing it's a software problem or could be hardware as well but I'm not the only one with this problem I'm sure.. Anyone have a fix?
Highly unlikely it is a software issue... The Moto X is very finicky about Turbo Chargers and the cable, always use a high quality cable and power supply, I recommend Eversame microUSB cables and Aukey QC 2.0 chargers (car or A/C), I have used them for a long time with no issues at all. Come to think of it, my original charger is probably still in the box, don't think I have ever used it. lol

So it's safe to say it's a cable problem.. I bought a similar charger like stock on Amazon and same problem.. Probably need to change brand like u said.. Waiting for other inputs
Just had the same thing happen to me literally a few minutes ago. Turbo charger isn't working so I have to use a regular one. Just ordered the cable and charger in acejavelin's post.
A Samsung charger from like the S7 will quick charge the phone. At least mine does. It even gives the TurboCharge toast after plugging it in.

Yes, because that charger is QC2.0 compliant, I have used on of my son's S7 Edge chargers on more than occasion with no problems and it gets "Turbo charge" just fine... So will most other OEM chargers that are Quick Charge 2.0 compliant.
Hi all been searching but no real answer can you use a s7 fast charger plug on a Samsung s8?
Of course. Why would would you think you couldn't?
Voltage but was not 100% sure that's why I thought i would ask.

Pretty sure it wouldn't be an issue! I actually used the samsung charger from my S8 to charge my HTC 10 last night and it took surprisingly long to charge! Out of interest i then decided to charge my S8 using my HTC charger and the HTC charger charges it faster then the one supplied by Samsung! Maybe Samsung are being cautious with the fast charging capabilities since the Note 7 dilemma! Who knows. . . . . . . . . I just found it interesting that the Samsung fast charger (whilst it is pretty quick i guess) but doesn't compare to my HTC fast charger!
Samsung fast charger charges 3000mah battery from 0 - 100 in 1hr40mins
HTC fast charger charges 3200mah battery from 0 - 100 in 1hr 20mins
I was using my old S6 charger all week, no issues.
I believe they're all using the same 15W charger. Samsung has not revised the charging power since S6.
*Deleted*
They didn't disable anything - it doesn't have the Qualicom Quick Charge variant, but it does have it's own variant of a rapid charge.
Using two wall chargers I have here and a Benson certified USB-C Cable, one of the wall chargers support QC2.0 and the other QC3.0. Both charged "normally" reporting on the screen as "Charging".
Using the stock USB-C wall charger that came with my 6P, using EX Kernel and the stock kernel from January 8.1 stock ROM, both reported "Charging Rapidly". I switched kernels using EXKM and a backup of the stock Kernel to test this.
Also, I bought a Tronsmart USB-C Car Charger, and it too reports "Charging Rapidly".

Hey everyone,
So I got my nexus 3 Months ago, I just found out NOW that it is not fast charging at all. I bought a new ANKER charger and wire with it and its just charging slowly which got me really annoyed as I wasted money on it because I thought it had nothing to do with the phone at all. I did some digging around and the maker of franco kernel found out that bloody google disabled the bloody fast charging on the 6P?! What kind of solution is that? I mean they could of at least gave us options on whether to disable or enable it in the phone. Is there ANY way to get fast charging enabled on this phone?

Nexus 6p just charges at a higher amperage then most average phones. As long as you use a charger with 5V/3A you should get charging rapidly. Just remember as the battery percentage increases the amps get lower. Use an app like ampere to make sure your getting close to 3000mA. I think the highest charge I seen on the stock plug was like 2800mA.
Well I bought an ANKER Charger and usb cable with it which definitely says it is fast charging compatible. When it comes to charging my phone I got a small text on my lock screen showing me how much charge there is going to the phone while charging. The average charging mAh is 1,400 and the voltage is 4.3V. I am pretty sure that it has reached a higher charge rate....I'll have to keep an eye on it. Do you think thats an acceptable charging rate?
It's not just about amperage, because some of their chargers are a whopping 8A - https://www.anker.com/ca/products/108/203/Wall-Chargers
Anker doesn't support the variant of rapid charging that the 6P accepts, therefore it only will negotiate down to a normal "charging" rate, which IIRC is exactly what you're getting.

Hi all,
My original turbo charger died after I man handled it.
I'm looking for a good turbo charger (not the original one coz it costs ₹1200/-) on Flipkart as a sale is going on currently.
Any recommendations from long term users?
Thanks.

I would say don't use Turbo Charger, fast charger generally degrades the battery life. If your stock charger is not working then you should buy a 5V 2A aftermarket charger which will work fine. Flipkart SmartBuy 2A Fast Charger will do the job, I'm using this charger right now.

Buy any fast charger that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 i.e the same technology used in Moto turbo chargers.
Well, to preserve battery life expectancy, I've ordered a Sony 2.1A charger from Flipkart for 250/- (on offer though)

Okay.
But you will definitely miss the fast charging.
I don't know about Flipkart, but Aukey Quick Chargers have always worked well for me... Remember, Turbo Charge is just Quick Charge without the Qualcomm licensing fee.

Yeah, totally but it's already a 1.5 year old device, got it as soon as it came out. So I'd better off preserve the life span of this original battery. I charge the phone over night however.

Like I said, I don't know anything about Flipkart but here is an Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Samsung-Qualcomm-Certified/dp/B018RR30TK
I have several of these... Once at work, one at home, one in my overnight bugout bag, and one in my computer bag, plus I think my kids have a couple as well, you get the idea.
The work on anything, Pixel, Samsung, LG, Moto, whatever (except OnePlus and a couple others), but they support Quick/Turbo charging on anything that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge or Moto Turbo Charge (it is literally the same thing, provided at the chip level of the Snapdragon processor).
