Home screen folder transparency - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Questions & Answers

Is there a way to make the home screen folders transparent?
Thank you!

-Select the folder
-Select the circle where you change the color
-Select palette of the colors, there will be shown 2 bars, in the bottom bar move the circle to the left and that is the transparency
Looking for answers I tried and I found it.

The folder background on my S10 are not affected by this. It affects the folder icon background only

Show battery percentage in top status bar

I think i'm spoiled by custom roms.
Is there an easy way to show the battery percentage in the status bar at the top of the screen? (i can't remember if this is called status bar or notification bar but its where the clock and notification icons show up)
Yes, pull down notification tray and long click (or press several clicks - can't remember) on settings icon. It will add system ui tuner to your settings menu. There you can add battery percentage icon to inside the battery icon
Yes. Pull down quick settings and hold the settings icon for a few seconds then release it. If you scroll down to the bottom of your settings page you should now have a section named 'System UI Tuner' where you can do this.
What an awesome tip! I had no idea about "System UI Tuner". Thanks guys!
Thanks for this tip ....
On Oreo this option is also found under battery settings.
On Nougat battery text was inside the icon, on Oreo it's on the left side and to my eye a bit bigger than clock. I couldn't stand this design flaw, but fortunately Gravity box can fix it and show text inside the icon again or on the right side and with smaller font.

What are some LG V20 Themes that does not alter icons?

As the question states.
I found really cool ones, but the icons change, and I lose the dynamic Calendar icon that displays Day and Date. Can you suggest on how to apply themes and not lose stock icons?
Thank you.
I use Nova Launcher. You can choose an entire icon pack as well as change individual icons. When you long press an icon, you get a menu with edit in it. Select edit, then touch the icon. You will be presented with icon options. One should be the stock icon.
