I already lost the nexus 7 stock charger and my S3's charger, is there anything out there that someone recommends for charging the Nexus 7 at full rate (~2A rate, I believe)? Also would be nice to be able to charge my Galaxy S3 at full rate (~1A) using that one charger...so 3.1A+ would be ideal.
I've checked Amazon and such, just curious of anyone's experiences on here with chargers and the Nexus 7 because it's not always clear whether a charger actually charges the Nexus 7 at max charging rate. Any help is greatly appreciated!
edit: considering this one:

I'd probably want to pick up a couple of these..so $10 (yes, call me cheap) is a little more than I was hoping to pay for an off brand charger, even if I could live with a single port charger as long as it charges my Nexus 7 at max charging rate. I paid around the same price for (4) iPad 10w chargers on eBay when I was using iDevices so I'm wondering if there's anything that's a better value for the Nexus 7?
Found this thread on charging performance, enlightening...

Any other cheap recommended chargers would great to hear
Hi guys, i need to know what happen if i charge my nexus 6p with another charger. Actually i'm using an original samsung galaxy s1 charger with usb c adapter. Does it damage the nexus 6p's battery or it just charge it slowly (it has less volatge)?
Just slower

Hi a quick question, I just bought a new s8+, and before that I had a Nexus 6p, can I use his charger to charge the s8+
S8+ charger shows 2.4A output
Nexus chargee shows 3.0A output
Thank allot!
I went from a 6P to an s8 (uk exynos) and used the 6P charger and cable for over a week before the S8 charger came out of the box with no issues. didn't do a comparison test for charging speeds tho. The 6P charger should intelligently downgrade its output if it's max is too much for the S8. generally, the s8 seems to charge more slowly but it's a hell of a lot less necessary than with the 6P, lol
I just bought an M9Pro but recently read that it has a proprietary charging system that requires their charger and cable.
Assuming this is true, what have your experiences been with this. It was a toss up between this and a Pixel Xl. Hopefully made right choice.

Not true. You can use any USB type-C cable and charger.
However if you want to use Huawei super charge (charges extremely quickly) you will need the original charger.
I use an old Galaxy S6 charger in my living room, it is only QC2.0 but can charge my phone in less than 1.5 hours.
Sure, Huawei have their own standard but you really don't need it.
I was just about to go pick up a 6t but then I realized the charger is proprietary... so does that mean that none of the other fast chargers on the market can charge it quickly? That's kind of a pain in the a..
I haven't found it conclusively stated like that but can somebody clarify?
I have a tablet charger for my old Shield; it charges the 6T pretty fast. Not quite as fast as the official charger but faster than a regular small charge block.
Don't let charging blocks stop you from buying it. It is a beast, with great battery life, and it soaks up the juice quickly.

Ugh you dont get it LOL. We have had QC compat phones for years. I have at least 6 different wall chargers, QC chargers in all 3 cars, QC battery packs for each of us not to mention the cables.
By the time I am done replacing what I need I may as well buy a Pixel 3 for the price diff.

Quick charge 3.0 doesn't work for me with 6t. It charges at max 1.5A and takes significatly longer to charged compared to Dash charge. You'll have to purchase dash charger and cable for your car, if you really want fast charging.
I rarely use the fast charge. I prefer the SLOW charge. Now, I DO use fast charge maybe once a month for a quick 1/2 fill up
if I know I'm going to be away from an outlet a while.

Ok I get what you are saying, but battery life on 6T is so high that say 20 minutes of suboptimal charge from your existing QC charger will probably give the 6T the same usage time as that 20 minutes of optimally charging a Pixel.

No there is no quick charging other than OnePlus's. QC Fast Charge standards don't work, and the device will only charge at 5V speeds.

I use a Samsung charging block from a Note 9. Isn't quite as fast as the proprietary block but it still charges it pretty quickly.

Well then don't buy a cheap phone where they don't pay to use **** like QC quickcharge.
