I understand unlocked is 32GB with unlocked sim but s-on
while dev edition is 64GB with unlocked sim and unlocked bootloader - s-off
I think 32GB is totally enough.. and i imagine its easy to unlock the bootloader on the unlocked edition...
should i even consider the dev edition? would HTC actually have dev edition only content that i would miss out if i only had the unlocked version?

dev edition is still S ON, but for another 70 dollars you get a extra 32 gigs and unlocked out of the box.
or save 70 bucks, for 32 gigs, and you have to unlock yourself 5-10 minutes. so its up to you
i would like to know that i have 2 zenfones.
both r ze551kl bought from newegg but one is 16gb version and other is 32gb version.

there is no difference if you are asking about the hardware, but they will not be the same if you are willing to install a rom

So i cannot flash roms of Ds model??
The difference is H870DS have dual sim, 64Gb and quaddac, and H870S only have dual sim and i don't know if 32 or 64Gb. If you flash DS firmware in S model you will get a bricked phone. You can only flash firmwares with the same model and if it has different country variants.

H870S has 32GB
In the UK I'm seeing 3gb variants of the M3 Lite 10 on eBay etc but no 4gb versions.
What are the model numbers I should be looking for in either 32gb or 64gb with 4gb ram?
Also, I haven't checked yet but I'm assuming whichever hardware/software version I pick up will be software rootable with at least some custom ROMs? Or do I need to be careful which version I get?
