Samsung Galaxy Tab A Retail Mode - Samsung Galaxy Tab A series Questions & Answers

I have a Samsung tab a SM-T580 and it’s in retail mode. I have tried to use the “5444” password for the store setting in the retail mode app and of course it didn’t work. How do I get it out of retail mode? Please give me a straight forward answer.
Thanks and have a wonderful day.

That's easy, just flash the official firmware then Demo Mode will be gone.
sammobile.com is the source to download firmware.

Updating my Samsung S4 (Gt-I9000)

Hi all,
I'm using a prepaid (former T Mobile Germany) Samsung S (GT-I9000) in The Netherlands and experience problems updating this by Samsung Kies and have no option (in 'about this phone') to chose on the Phone for updating software etc.
I did already a factory reset, but that didn't do the trick :crying:
Perhaps somebody is willing to help me please?
Nobody?? :crying:
GT-I9000 is not a Galaxy S4 model but a Galaxy S (no number) model. Kindly enter download mode (Volume -, home, power) and tell us the model number of the phone given there so we can better help you.
Sorry, you are right. On start-up it shows Galaxy S Gt-I9000. I thought always I have a S4
Volume -, home, power gives me the yellow workman sign..downloading.. & Do not turn off Target!!!
EDIT: I'm using a Linux system on my computer.
That device no longer receives updates, and thus a custom ROM from the Galaxy S forums on XDA is your best bet. Especially as the Galaxy S hasn't been updated since 2013, according to sammobile's firmware database.

Thank you very much for your answer. Very kind of you.
How do I obtain such a custom ROM from the Galaxy S forums on XDA? I'm inexperienced with this regarding my device) and how to find a manual to guide me doing this?
Head to those forums and start searching. The information you need can all be found there.

Galaxy s5 stock firmware (help)

So yesterday, i bought my secondhand galaxy s5 on my local store, the store didn't give me the box or any document about it. so i tried to figure out if this one isn't a fake one. the label behind the battery told me that this is a g900f variant, still being curious i check the imei on imei.info and it says that this is an original g900f (i also checked the phone build on the setting menu it also said this is a proper g900f), but long story short i found out that my phone is already rooted by the previous owner, so i tried to unroot it, but when i do it the phone stuck in the bootloop, so i downloaded odin, usb driver, and a new stock rom for the g900f on my laptop, i get the phone to the download mode (odin mode? i dunno what is it called) and it said my device is a g900v variant, and when i tried to flash the g900f stock rom i always failed. now i'm confused wheter if my s5 indeed is a real g900f or a g900v. what should i do now? do i have to download a g900v stock rom, or try another g900f stock rom?
Maybe you downloaded g900v rom so that is why this version is stated in Odin.

If i remember type in the dialer *#1234#.Check correct model and csc code and then you can download from Sammobile correct firmware.cheers
Check what it says at the top of the screen when the phone is in download mode, that is the only info you can 100% trust

Flashing Korean Variant RE: Injustice Edition

Hey resident experts,
I'm having a really tough time here. I used Odin to update my Injustice Edition G935k, and am miserable with the FW.
I can't seem to track down the 935k injustice ed firmware, but am seeing some evidence of other variant FW working. Could anyone possible assist me with some info regarding whether this is possible, safe, or even where I could find my original firmware?
Much appreciated
Try this method
Install smart switch , go to more...Emergency software recovery and initialization, device initialization, type model name after that imei and sn and the program will download the original firmware that came up with the phone

S7 Edge SM-935T Need latest SM-935U Firmware

Hello everyone,
I have a large issue here that I have spent the last 2 days trying to fix.
I have a SM-G935T that I had unlocked by T-Mobile to use with my current Verizon service. Once the device was unlocked, I see that the only way to use the phone with verizon is to flash the SM-G935U firmware to the device. Before the unlock, I allowed the phone (phone wasnt used for over a year) to download and install several updates to the most current 8.0 software for t-mobile. Apparently the SM-G935U firmware I had was an older version and the phone is now in a boot loop and the only thing I can do is get to download mode.
Whenever I try to get the latest SM-G935U firmware from Sammobile, it fails to download due to network error. I have a paid Sammobile account and decently fast internet. Not sure what I should do from here as the device needs the firmware that I cannot seem to download. The version I am after was the G935UUES8CSA1_G935UOYM8CSA1_VZW.zip
If anyone has any ideas of what I can do to get this device going again on Verizon, I would appreciate the advice!
Thank you in advance :highfive:
