Hey Everyone,
I have recently bought a new Note 3 from Optus in Australia.
I want to root my device but it appears it is a very uncommon model (SM-N9007) and i cant seem to find any info on how to ROOT this model?
Has one one rooted this model or know how too?

This a very new model of Note 3 so you might have to wait till there will be a solution for it.
In the meantime, could you please help me by installing the app Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and post some screenshots here.
If it is possible try to enter the menu [Note 3] Fake Detector and see what does it say.

Does anyone know if its possible to flash the modem from the 9007 to the 9005?
I'm an Optus customer but I bought my Note 3 outright on launch day and I wouldn't mind making use of/playing with
the Optus 4G+ service. :laugh:
Also the 9007 is running JB. Could I still use the modem with KK?

I have my fingers crossed that Chainfire will be able to get his hands onto the stock firmware and hopefully release CF_Auto_Root files for the N9007 model.... I want to root this thing !

Not sure if this helps but I used the cf-auto-root for the n9005 on my chinese n9006 and it worked!
The N9007 seems to be a snapdragon as well so it might just work! But you'd have to risk it.:silly:

Chainfire just released FC-Auto Root for SM-N9007!!!
Any idea if the 9007 modem will work with 9005?
Or is there more to get 4G Plus support?

I can't say for sure, but I'm suspecting there is different hardware in it.
I've just picked up a Note 3 from Optus, and after many failed attempts to put some N9005 ROMs on it, I've realised that it's an N9007.
With the ROMs I've been trying, everything works but the connection to the carrier itself. I've flashed ROMs for years on many devices, so not a newbie.
My conclusion (that I'm trying to confirm via research) is that the modem is different, and N9005 modem files don't work on the N9007. So my guess would be vice versa.

No problems.
I suspect that when there's any official N9007 ROMs released, the modem files should be able to be extracted, and grafted into an N9005 ROM. Checking Sams Mobile for ROMs each day...

I have the Note 4 910C that comes with the Exynos processor. I can't get the LTE icon to show up and I want to change my ROM to a European ROM like the UK ROM. I can't seem to find it for the Exynos version.
Can I install the Snapdragon Note 4 ROM on my Exynos ROM? Can anyone give me a link to stock European ROM that will show the LTE and work with the Exynos version?

No mate u can't install Snapdragon rom in Exynos, it will brick your phone.
Someone can help you if you give details of your phone.
@jdomedia Thank you man. Unlike some other people who would rather type unusefull information instead of helping, you actually did help me. Hope more people like you are in this world.
@Ausboy 2011 if you don't have an answer, don't reply. Not all people know the same information or how to obtain them like you.
My guess is that either your phone doesn't support your carrier's LTE baseband, or your APN settings aren't set up correctly.
I wouldn't be able to help you since I live in the US, but if you tell us your carrier, then maybe someone can give you the proper APN settings and needed basebands.
And yeah, that reply was pretty rude. It's not like you were asking something that is all over the forum like how to root, or easily researchable like if the Note 4 comes with micro SD support. IMO, you were asking a legitimate N00b question (no offense).

I think you have given all needed info, but what carrier are you using the phone on? Is it Handtec?
Hopefully someone can help you. Sorry I can't. As I said, I live in the US and am only familiar with the big 4 carriers here and their Note 4 variants.

I'm on EE - but my post was intended as information for the OP. I'm not having any problems and don't need any help. 4G is basically LTE, as far as I know that's just the way it's described here in the UK - in any case, I'm getting great speeds.

4G is the same as LTE !!! If you have 4G icon ,you have the fast internet from it. You can test it by OOKLA speedtest from the Play store

My wife has an SM-T355Y and from what I understand, this is a variant that is only sold in India (according to someone on reddit). But if that's the only difference between it and the SM-T355, I was wondering if anyone could confirm that whatever ROMs work on the T355 would also work on the T355Y. Thanks in advance!

There is two device model are available on the market
one is ZB601KL and the other one is ZB602KL
and
there is two versions A version and B version according to ASUS website
may i know the complete details on that like every device have same Kernel source and device hardware spec etc....
i think ZB601KL is Indian version and it have only one version
but for ZB602KL have two version A and B and i couldn't find where to buy this
I found that Philippians have the version A and B according to their Asus website
any one from Philippines , please help me to find than about this

I got samples from ASUS, but yes they available through Flash Sale... rumors said that ASUS starting to sell MPM1 offline from 10th May 2018 ... And I havent seen the 6 GB variant yet...

For now I don't really know about that. In Indonesia just 3GB RAM & 32GB Storage. Maybe someone else here know about that version.

Did Zen Max Pro M1 still doesn't support LTE-A/4G+?
The fact that Snapdragon 636 SoC already include X12 Modem with LTE Cat 7/13. That means it should be capable to utulize 4G+.

You're right, zb601kl is indian version. look at the screenshot, it is of flipkart india
As of today only 3gb/32gb variant is being pre order here in the philippines, and according to Asus it will be A version.
My Philippine friends never got a good answer from Asus if it were version A or B. It seems that Memoxpress, the AsusPH FB/Twitter pages, and the Asus stores near them didn't know jack.
What we do know is that a person who bought the 3GB model got A, and a person who got the pre+ordered 4GB model also got A.

I'm not from India, my device is a zb602kl with nfc, in the Indian model, there's no nfc module.

ok , i though there is a hidden chip in our device which enables by this mode , but later i visited 4pda.ru alex.msk forum , i realized it is for the custom rom which doesnt have a nfc working solution right now ,
can do me a favor , by recommending some one in your forum to port the zenfone 5 rom 620 to our zenfone max pro , which have a zenui and some additional features than this , stock ,one
