I charged my A7 by plugging in the AC adapter.
When I returned, I thought I would see the green LED light on the left side of the A7 showing. However, the light was out (not showing).
Does the green LED light show for a while when it is fully charged and then turns off?
When I turned on the A7 I noticed that the battery statues was 100%.
I don't know if the (orange) light ever did turn green because, as I said, when I returned, the light was out.
Did anyone else have the same experience, where the LED light does eventually turn off after a certain amount of time?
Yep, same case. I think adapter has special schema to monitor charging. This cool feature prevents overload.

Your A7 LED light turns off after the A7 has been fully charged when using the AC adapter?
I got confused because the A7 manual says that when the A7 finishes charging and is fully charged, the LED light turns green.
I don't think that is the case. When charging and A7 is fully charged, the LED light turns off.
Is that what happens to your A7 also, When fully charged with AC adapter, the LED light turns off?

When charging the Elocity via AC outlet, I notice the LED power light is ORANGE and then when it is fully charged (supposedly) it starts blinking GREEN.
Other times my grandson has said that when he charges it, the LED is ORANGE, but when it is finished charging (supposedly), the LED light turns off.
Why would it turn GREEN one time when it is fully charged and start blinking? And then the other time the LED will Turn Off when it is fully charged?
Could it have something to do with if the unit was turned ON/OFF when the charging was started?
When the unit is turned on but still charging, the led is amber. At the end of charging the led turns green.

The reason for this behavior is the charge circuit for the Li Polymer battery is actually shutting itself off once its stable at 100% charge. Li-poly and Li-ion batteries have a much stricter charging schema than other batteries, they will catch fire or even explode if overcharged/overheated. Here's why your charger shuts off automatically ----> TO PREVENT THIS
HI I have a few questions. Anybody know the full time to charge the tablet to 100% capacity? Also I know the amber light means charging, and it turns off when complete. However has anyone else noticed that when it turns off if you press the power button briefly one time it stays lit white. Unplug the charger the light goes off but plug it in and light stays white. Is that normal? Is this a trickle charge mode or something?
Thanks
btw tablet is powered off when charging and not in sleep mode
When mine is done charging, the lite goes white and stays white till I unplug the charger. This is with the a500 turned off and charging though.
See my tablets light is orange when charging and goes out when done, battery is at 100%. I press it once while still pluged in it turns on to white. is the IC charging chip that regulates charging on my tablet out?
I got an external Samsung OEM battery charger (EP-B600CEWC) with an OEM battery. The battery works almost perfectly, but has one issue.
When charging in the external charger, it actually charges quickly, EXCEPT it takes 11 hours for the charger light to turn Green. If I take the battery out of the charger after 2.5 hours or so, although the charge light is still red, it shows fully charged when placed in the phone.
When I charge the original battery that came with the phone, the charge light turns Green after about 2.5 hours.
Oddly, when charging the apparently defective charger battery in the phone itself, it charges quickly (1.9 Amps), and the LED on the phone changes from red to green in about the same time as the original phone battery. In other words, the battery behaves normally in the phone, but it does not behave normally in the charger.
Anyone understand what might cause the extreme delay with the external charger LED turning green?

I've faced same issue. But in my case , my redmi 3s was completely discharged. Device was totally dead. Hence when plugged in or tried to switch it on the notification led was blinking red.
Solution: plug the charger in and let the device charge until you see battery charging animation.
Hello XDA community,
THIS PROBLEM HAPPENS ONLY WHEN MY PHONE IS TURNED OFF.
Recently, I have had a problem with charging my Nokia 5 when it is turned off. Once it reaches 84%, It stops getting charged but the battery health value on the charging screen remains increasing until it reaches 100%. So when I turn it ON, I find that the battery is only at 84%. I have tried to deplug the charger and plug it again, and It seems that the phone shows up the right value of the battery this time and continue charging until it reaches the true 100% value.
So to summarize, un order to fully charge my phone while it is turned off, I need to re-plug the charger after the first charge phase.
Does anyone suffer from this issue?
