Hi! I'm experiencing a slight annoyance when playing music using my SE Xperia X8. When i set low volume for listening music in quiet environment or at night, I can hear hissing, or should I say static, and when skips to next song, i can hear something like a high pitch click. It is heard both on headphones (tried several) and loudspeaker. Is this hardware or software issue and can it be fixed? I've read that it happes on other (smart)phones too but couldn't find about X8.
It happens on all mobile phones, I think. It was like that on my old W300i, but I heard Samsung mobiles and LGs too. All of them have this "problem". I think it's because the lack of grounding, and the electric static noise makes this sound. You can't ground a mobile phone or a portable MP3 player, so where you can't hear this noise it's because of some software hiss filter. I think it can be done on any Android phones, but I haven't seen any software that do this for you. Strange that this hissing noise is much lower on my MW600 bluetooth headset than on my headset that is for SE W300i. I hope you can understand my bad english
It really seems that this problem is kinda firmware related. Recently I've gone from Floyo 0.25 to FroyoBread v21b and the sound hissing is drastically reduced
on SE Original 2.1 Eclair have lesser hissing sounds than custom roms out there.

I tried going back to 2.1 with cleanest of clean install and tried using mw600 streaming, even on 2.1 there's hiccups too, same on 2.2
but on 2.3 Official Rom(I asked someone with an xperia play he said that problem don't exist) or Custom Rom everything is Fine.
Isn't there any way to get sound as we use to get on stock miui ROM? I mean that cant anyone port Dirac audio from MIUI to AOSP based ROMs. I tried every sound enhancing mod but none worked and the sound that i got from speakers is just unpleasant to hear to although viper 4 android does provide balanced sound from speaker but it's distorted and on high vocal music the speaker starts to distort very badly. Can anyone port Dirac Audio from miui, it will be a revolutionary mod for our beloved Redmi 2/prime.

That could be a rom specific bug. You can try a different rom to confirm. Try clean flashing with 087 firmware. If that doesn't work, I don't think you can do anything about this except wait for an update or use a different rom.
