No Baseband or Bootloader information in Fastboot - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Is that normal?

T-Mboile variant here. I just got my unlock approved, and both were blank for me as well.

Relock Bootloader XT1625 non-prime

So I unlocked the bootloader through Moto's site. Now I want to relock the bootloader. I went through Moto's instructions and flashed the files for the X1625, however when I go to fastboot oem lock, it just says flash valid android system. It will boot up and run correctly, but it still gives the warning message and will not go back to "locked" status.
Thanks for any help

Open does not mean unlocked. Open means you have root access. Unlock means you can access the recovery partition and flash anything you want with a custom recovery.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/meizu-mx/development/recovery-twrp-bl-unlock-m3-note-t3684052 See the tutorial
With G version (6.3.0.0G), lk does not have fastboot unlock cmd. I had disassembled 6.1.3.3G lk to check and confirmed. Instead, A version does have it because of nougut port (Ie, 6.3.0.2A fw).
I knew it because tried today. I rooted and run global.sh then install A version fw on my G version phone. The drawback is fastboot USB is no longer working. So winxp PC USB connections to m3note fail. Lucky the phone still working.
So if somebody told you G version can unlock bootloader, then you have to pay attention. I assumed you less likely got the A version phone but a G version instead. If you are lucky with A version, you can have a try. FYI the above disassembled A version of lk does have below cmd:
oem p2u
oem reboot-recovery
oem unlock
oem lock
oem key
oem lks
flashing unlock
flashing lock
flashing get_unlock_ability
Many more....

Relock bootloader problem - Still require signed boot.img? [QUALCOMM]

I'm trying to get one of my E4's ready to sell (I have two of them) and need to relock the bootloader so that the N/A message goes away. I reinstalled the stock firmware provided here using fastboot (and followed the appropriate oem locking steps) but at the very end I get:
Code:
Still require signed boot.img
I am assuming nobody has found a workaround for this as Lenovo hasn't provided official stock firmware and I haven't seen any posts about a solution? Would appreciate any insight.
Not possible currently, just let the buyer know that the bootloader is unlocked and it's root ready lol.
Is it still currently not possible to relock the bootloader?

fastboot oem lock_bootloader
Then go to Motorola.com grab a stock image
Fastboot flash boot boot.img and everything else too.
Fastboot flash
bootloader
oem
Boot
Logo
system
Etc....
I did this and had to use my code that they emailed me to unlock the boot loader again.

Need help 918

Hello friends,
Need help here. I am willing to buy T-mobile variant of V20. Its on firmware H91010t march security update. I searched all over the forum for the last one hour but could not get the clear cut answer. If this device can be bootloader unlocked. Can I downgrade to any unlockable older version and unlock the bootloader or now its not possible? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Yeah the H918 is bootloader unlockable, however you need to use a root exploit in order to utilize it as there are limited fastboot commands available.
If you're not familiar with Linux though you should wait for the automated version of the exploit to be released so you can make sure you don't mess anything up.

Thanks bro. Please clarify one more thing. It says we must have bootloader unlocked before proceeding this process. So T-mobile varient comes boot loader unlocked?

It comes locked, but it can still (and must) use fastboot oem unlock to unlock the bootloader (the reason exploits are needed is because the h918 fastboot can not flash anything). As usual fastboot oem unlock will factory reset the device so make backups.
As far as rolling back, don't rollback too far or youll brick: just roll back to the version explictly named in the lafsploit guide.
you must enable developer mode and turn on usb debugging <~~~~ in about phone section find the Build number and click it 6-7 times to enable the developer mode option. after that follow the fastboot oem unlocked commands, after unlocking the bootloader. if you want to roll back on firmware DO NOT go before H91810p or you will brick your phone, so your options are h91810p ,q ,r,s, or t which your on. follow the lglaf h918 information in the xda forums. go into search and type lglaf h918. hope this helps

unlock bootloader

I want to root my oneplus 8 pro IN2020. but when i try to unlock bootloader with
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
I have following error:
FAILED (remote: 'Flashing Unlock is not allowed)Phone was have been installed and updated to latest version. No sim yet.
I'm using windows 10 and latest platform sdk.
Do you have any clues ?
I got the phone on banggood with oneplus sticker with MEID and CM sticker...
if it is a branded phone how to get bin file or unlock code. The unlock_token page is not available in my region...
on fastboot screen i do not have any bootloader version nor baseband version...
Did you connect your phone to the internet and enable Bootloader Unlocking in Developer Settings?
Good catch !
Many thanks....
No problem, seems to be a common mistake around here
