While watching videos using chrome on S8+ the video image is stuttering a lil bit.
Is there any settings to change to fix this?
Thanks.
Dont use chrome, use samsungs browser.

I noticed the very obvious stutter as well on my new S8 + playing it back on the phone as well as my quad core i7 PC. It was reduced about 90% by turning OFF the video stabilization in the settings tab located top right of camera setting.
For some strange reason, it works best on the 3840x2160 and 1080P 60 fps settings.
The stutter was quite jarring and disappointing when I first saw it. Cars would literally stop for a moment and then resume again a few feet back. Much better now. It looks like even with stabilization off the optical (as opposed to switchable digital) appears to be still working so the results look very good.
The auto-focus is also amazing - the best I've encountered (including some pretty expensive 4K camcorders).
The still camera, particularly in low light is amazing! Hard to believe the detail, color, and lack of noise in dim light photos with no flash - WOW!
i am experiencing the same exast thing where all google videos keep stuttering constantly
As per the title, does anyone face dropped framerates on their Galaxy S8 Gallery App over time, and only a reboot will fix it? Im using the Exynos Variant, so I was just wondering if SD835 users face this issue as well. The app just becomes jittery when tapping on a picture, and overall operation is not smooth.
Some phones exhibit choppy scrolling, especially when navigating long web pages when multiple apps are running in the background. Rate this thread to express how you smooth scrolling feels on the Huawei P20 under such conditions. A higher rating indicates that scrolling is always buttery smooth, even when you're reading a 10,000 word article on "how to kiss a girl".

Overall it feels good, just rarely I get these little stutters. Can't recall in what app atm.
System-wise it's perfect, I'd say 4/5 atm, will try to see when exactly and in what apps I get this stutter.
I am coming from Oneplus5 and it's not as smooth, menu opening and closing is bit slow, scrolling through web pages is not smooth and occasional lag occurred, Huawei launcher is a joke, hardly any people will prefer to use, I have to use developer option and set animation to 0.5x from 1.x to get fast menu speed. also, 960 frame per second video is a joke and its limited to few seconds, it seems like to complete with Sony and Samsung the feature been added without proper implementation, front camera has strange waved going across when trying to take the shot TV and monitor etc.
I've had my P20 for 5 days and find WEB scrolling to be pretty good, however screen swipe transitions can feel a little jerky compared to the
iPhone 6S (the phone I had before this). But all in all the P20 is good, fast and I have had no problems.

I'm using AdGuard to stop most of the back ground advertising to load.
Cures the stutters in web page loading and scrolling.

Yeh, seen that before on other phones. Something to do with frequency/refresh of TV screens.
I got my P20 Pro 4 days ago, and to me it's been a frustrating experience due to scrolling lag. The overall experience when I scroll in the Facebook app, Instagram or webpages using Chrome is really laggy and disappointing. I came from a OnePlus 5T without and lag problems at all. So hoping for a quick fix or I move to another phone.
Updated huawei P20
I can confirm there are occasional stutter while navigating through apps and webpages (AdGuard is installed).
I have not experienced any of these stutters. Scrolling is smooth AF.
I have some problems in Tapatalk and Google photos, there is scrolling not smooth. Haven't noticed it somewhere else, I use Samsung browser and browsing scrolling is fine. Same in settings and between screens it works flawless

The device is pretty smooth and fast, the only time I do see minor slowdowns is when loading all my content in the Gallery, there is a slight delay but otherwise all good.
Hi
I just moved from Samsung S6 and this pisses me off. Web pages i one thing, but I feel like some of my subtle touches are lost. The sensitivity of The screen seems to be lower compared to Old Samsung. I also measured with Google Photos and with a single tap I'm able to scroll more than 2 longer distance on S6. Feels like slower response is fixed by limiting scroll speed :/ iPad responsivness is even better than S6 and Mate and iPad beats S6 in FPS.
P. S. I also haven't removed original screen protector but I don't believe it can make such a difference.

Apple devices have always trumped Android in this area. Piece of **** Android OS.
is this my camera's problem ? its quite zoomed in compared to normal slow motion
