Today is my first day with the 6T and I'm loving it so far, but I'm trying to use the Fluid Navigation Gestures app and even though I have USB debugging enabled in developer options and ADB installed on my computer, the window to "Allow USB Debugging" has never popped up. Can someone help me out?

Drivers installed properly?
If yes, You can try forget all the devices in developer options and try again.
Do you get a p in status bar? If so tap the info in the bottom right twice and it will bring up a second window

Any tricks for getting it to work? Just updated to the OTA GB, and it won't show up. Tried with PC mode/Charge only, etc.
I don't believe that it will show up in the notifications bar, but if you selected it in applications>development it should be on. It doesn't appear on mine, but I know that it's on.
Good luck!
Under developer options there is a setting under "USB configuration" where you can set the default action when you plug into a computer via USB. The default is "charging". If you change it, it stays on "charging".

You can not live with having to swipe and press the screen twice on the occasion of plugging your phone into a pc etc?

I noticed my FP sensor swipe action stopped working when I was charging via USB cable connected to laptop. After Revoking USB debugging authorizations in "Developer options" and rebooting the device all it good now. I hope this helps someone.

Good share... Is it particular for Honor 8 or for other Honor devices too?
This seems specific to H8. Didn't had any similar reports about other devices with xPosed.
The developer menu shows up now but all the buttons are disabled, even the button at the top to actually turn the option on.
Any idea ?
Did you try and tap on the Build number multiple times again?
The developer options actually go away on my phone when you turn them off and you have to re enable it. I'm on the latest Oreo patch.
im also on all latest and not only are developer options available. But APN is completely open now. I am shocked. Just can press any one..add new..it's insane.
I just got my Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus today. I turned off wifi after the intro video and turned on developer settings. There's an oem unlock option in there for some reason. Is this normal? When I tap it, it gives me a dialog saying if I enable it, protection won't work. I hit enable and the dialog closes and the indicator for oem unlock swiches back to off. The seal on the amazon package had one side untaped...

normal, doesn't work... just like the hd10 2019. I don't think amazon removed it from the settings list (or didn't care) when they screwed the android OS to make their FireOS function. Their way... No root, no unlock at this point.
