TMO 6T - Does your phone still have the fast charge notification + text? - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Nevermind the question.
I've made a silly discovery that the phone has to be locked in order for the lightning bolt icon and sound notification to appear, as well as the rapid charge text. Otherwise it wont but it'll still fast charge.

Can the Notification LED Priority be changed?

Can anyone explain to me HTC's logic in this:
"The indicators are listed in order of priority. For example, if your device is connected to a power adapter and is charging the battery, the LED will be solid amber and will not switch to a flashing green light even if there is a pending notification."
I keep my phone on the charger a lot of the time and I have missed several voice mails and text messages as a result of this behavior. Is there a way to change this (I am stock/unrooted) or anything in the marketplace that will fix it?

HTC does this, and it drives me crazy. It was the same way on my TP2 - if charging, it'll be orange. If fully charged, it will be green. It will stay that way, even in the presence of a notification.
I'd love to see green flashing over the orange when charging. Maybe the LED flashing OFF with a notification while fully charged. Probably not going to happen though, it never did for the TP2.
You'll need to root to fix something like this, if we even have access to it.
There's an app called always flash that does exactly that you just need root

Any way to make notification LED work *while charging*?

I'm not very optimistic about this, but is there a way to enable LED notifications while the phone is charging? It works very nicely when running off battery power, but if the phone is plugged into the charger (or a PC via USB) the LED always shows either steady yellow (for charging) or steady green (for fully charged) - and this overrides anything that might otherwise give me a flashing green LED. I'd prefer it if incoming messages gave me a flashing green LED, even while the phone is running on external power. Is this possible?
(Running stock T-Mobile UK ROM, 1.72).

It should be possible. I had my notification Led flash whenever I got a text message while charging on my mytouch 3g. I just flashed a zip I got from droidbasement and it worked great. Sadly I've been looking for one for my mytouch 4g and I have yet to find something like it.

On mine it works, when I have a unread SMS LED alternates, about ten seconds orange and few seconds green. May be You've made some tweaks? Try hard resetting your phone, it should work as I wrote.

disable charging LED in cyanogenmod 7?

Hi there, I recently purchased the "powerskin" for my mytouch 4g. But what is super annoying is that the green charging light stays on ALL day while the powerskin is attached.
Unlike most other power skins for other phones apparently this one does not have the "on/off" button feature... which i really would like. Seems bad/silly to leave the phone charging 24 hours a day?
Anyways. I was curious if there was a way to disable LED while charging but still show my notifications? I'm rooted and running cyanogenmod nightly #93. I tried messing with "LED hack" from the market, but that just disabled the LED all together. I would still like to retain the blinking email/text/ect... abilities.
WTF powerskin?! put a damn ON/OFF button on this thing!
any help is appreciated.

The device doesn't charge if the battery is full. your device will feed off of the powerskin until it is dead, then switch to battery power.
Not that I know of.
... Why not just unplug it?

Thanks for your response Gazian, I messed with a few of your roms! good stuff!
I spose I could just unplug it. I just don't want to keep fiddling with the little micro USB connector. doesnt seem all that durable. I was just hoping there was some little mod or hack that would shut off the charging light. For some reason it bugs me a lot! I keep my phone in silent mode at work and glance at it to see if i have a notification.
Guess i'll have to deal. Thanks for your help.

[Q] Help understanding a G2 Notification Message

Hey XDA, long time no see!
Just got this phone, and I can say I'm loving every inch of it! (Coming from a Desire HD)
But I have a single question:
When I have the cellphone plugged in the charger, and it reaches 100%, a notification pops up in the notification bar saying something I don't understand.
My cellphone is in another language, but directly translated it says: "Battery is full. Turn off to save energy."
I'm not worried or anything, but I couldn't find anything about it anywhere, and I'm starting to wonder why LG want's me to turn off my phone when it's charged completly!
Thanks in advance!

Once it hits 100% battery, the phone will continue to charge slower than normal in order to keep the phone at 100%. It just means your still using a small amount of electricity to keep the phone charged even though it's already at 100%. I just ignore that message and keep it on the charger.

Ah I see. It's probably just the weird translation that makes me think I have to turn off the phone
Plus the fact that I have never had a phone which told me anything about slow charging, which I knew it would do when it hit 100%
Thanks sir!

Ok.. I turned my phone into english, and now when I get the message, it tells me "unplug to save energy."
Is LG really telling me that the charger can't just by pass the battery when it's charged and that I should unplug it?
I havn't unplugged it when I sleep, so far no problems (no heat either, so the battery is indeed shutting off when charged completly).
Why the hell is LG recommending me to take out the charger at night?
I just swipe that notification away when it comes. I also use plastic grocery bags and leave my appliances plugged in when not in use! I?

Getting Quick Charge to Work?

Hey guys. Loving the phone so far, but I can't seem to get my Quick Charge charge to work. This is the specific charger, and an answer on this question says it should work.
When I plug it in it has a blue LED (Normal charging speed) then it changes to green (Quick charging) then it turns off the LED and the cycle repeats. It stays on each LED color for 10-15 seconds before changing.
It worked on my One M8, so I don't see why it wouldn't work here. I have TruePureX and Frankenclark installed, but it did the same thing in recovery so I don't think it's software. The stock Turbo Charger works great, but I want one that to take places when.
Any ideas?
This is a bug in our phones... the only quick charger that works correctly is the one provided with the phone.... i hope Motorola fixes the problem in the next software update
That not true. I have 2 of these and the quick charge works just fine on my xt1575.
