ROG Theme for Zenfone 3 - Asus ZenFone 3 Questions & Answers

Is it possible to get the new Asus ROG phone theme on the Asus Zenfone 3? I see a few websites that claim it can be done and they do also provide downloads of the theme. I tried it but it didn't work. Anyone who can clear this one for me? Thanks in advance

First of all, you should state WHICH zenfone 2 variant you are talking about. As we all know, there are a gazillion asus zenfone 2 lasers out there (500kl 500kg 550kl 551kl and the 6 inch variants)
Second, a simple google search can answer your question faster than asking around here, where we arent even 100% sure that someone will be there to answer these kinds of questions

Thats because the dev intended to ONLY support those devices.
Zenfone 2 lasers only utilize the SD410 or SD615 chipsets, and again, a quick google search again will tell you that the nexus devices use A DIFFERENT chipset. It would be safe to assume that for a phone with a different chipset, the dev would have to build everything from scratch
I don't know what you mean with Oneplus, Htc, and yureka as they are BRANDS and not actual phone models.

It's either you contact the kernel dev (franco) or some other dev, but I highly doubt that someone will build a kernel for your device, as it is a tedious process.

Is Black Shark pro 2 12 /256gb Global version Developer Friendly

Hello Everyone,
I want to know If Black Shark pro 2 12 /256gb Is developer friendly or not.
I am not a developer but Can be considered advanced user. I want to know if Black Shark pro 2 12 /256gb Variant is Developer Friendly like rooting, Installing Twrp, Will I be able to do stock updates without losing twrp and rooting, Switching to custom Roms in future (Option should be available).
I am coming from redmi note 4 SD version So buying this phone will be a big purchase for me and if I purchase it I don't want any problems for next 3-4 years either Hardware or software related.
I will be using Black Shark pro 2 very very less for gaming but mostly for other heavy apps and lot of multi tasking. I want to know if BS pro 2 will be good for this.
I will be using this phone in India but it will be purchased outside India. After searching Internet I see I will not get warranty also.
Any help is highly Appreciated.
Thanks In Advance
Best Wishes

Developer friendly no, there is no kernel source code, even official BlackShark forum is removed from site so again big no for custom roms or recoveries.
And as for other things, go for it. It is a beast of device, it will successfully solve any task you throw at it.

Thanks a lot for replying. Really Appreciate it.
I am really frustrated. I want to know if I will not even get Twrp and rooting and Titanium Backup in BS pro 2 12/256gb Global version.
Twrp has saved my RN4 many times from 1-2 times bricked and many times from bootloop.
Realme x2 pro mobile 12/256gb is also not developer friendly nor is Asus rog 2 12gb/256gb.
Tried a lot to get K20 Pro 12 gb ram 512gb premium edition now Xiaomi Mi 9t pro 12gb/512gb. I hear its one of the favourites here at Xda.
Any good phone in $400-500 range with 12gb ram 256gb or 512gb memory and good processor like 855+ or better and developer friendly with forum support.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Rooting Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) ZB570TLMT673GBK

Hey all,
I've been digging through these forums for a while today and either I have a device that no one else has, or just need to know where to find the info I need. I'm in Canada, and bought this device for cash at Staples a couple years ago. Now I've decided I'd like to root it if I can, but I'm not finding any info that fully matches my device.
If anyone has any info that could help me, it would be much appreciated!
Thank you!
