Hi all
What's the best way to get more volume from the USB c port? I'm rooted with magisk?

Viper4Android Module from Magisk will do that just fine.
Which settings boost? Or any particular profile?
I've noticed this as well it's not very loud even with v4a gain maxed. In fact when playing music and turning off v4a there is almost no difference at all.
Back on the OP6 it was amazing for music with the kernel and sound boost but it doesn't seem to be available for the USB C port

When I plug in my G930 wireless headset into my 7 all the buttons work but audio/mic doesn't.
Is there any utilities to get usb audio working on this device? are there any roms here that supports usb audio?
Current running grouper rom and trinity kernel, any help appreciated.
USB audio needs a special hardware chip that we don't have.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
I'm currently running on jellybro/trinity combination and my headset works if i plug it in before booting. So the hardware must be there, we only need more control with the software.
Stock no audio/mic but controls work well.

Kitkat Stock rom on Galaxy Note 3 + usb otg cable + logitech g930!.
amazingly it works, with some notes:
-audio works (for music).. volume is a little to low. crank it up to maximum but still feel very low volume.
-voip call doesn't work (viber, line, etc)
Hello guys!
I've recently bought an Audioquest Dragonfly Red USB DAC to use with my tablet and smartphone. If I connect the DAC to the Meizu Pro 5, I do get a notification "USB audio - Output audio form the usb sound card". However, there is no sound at all, in none of my music apps. Neither Tidal, nor the stock player not USB Player Pro. Is there any way to get it to work with Flyme OS? (unfortunately updating won't work, somehow the user before me is still logged in, updates don't work - so I'm currently stuck with Flyme OS 5.1.2.0 OG. Phone is rooted though).
Would it work if I rooted to a CM rom?
Any help is really appreciated - thanks!

in Fastboot mode, it says its locked.
However, I got the Dragonfly to work with UAPP now.
I used USB Host check and used the fix with root permission. After I rebooted, I can now use the DAC with USB Player Pro (UAPP). However, I still wonder if it would work natively in Tidal etc. if I used another ROM, as Flyme OS disables all volume control in the system as soon as its connected. UAPP works, because it can access the hardware volume of the Dragonfly..

thanks! I already looked up a tutorial on the dragonfly thread on head-fi, however, i didn't get alsamixer to work yet. but that's also due to me possessing no programming skills whatsoever

nothing worked
any idea ??
Anybody tell me please...
I hope, it'll support. Because previously I used Le-Echo type c earphones and they worked. But sound wasn't good enough.
Yes it does but I would avoid using them on a OnePlus device the USB c ports are poor quality and break easily. Your cables will end up just falling out.
USB C headphones never worked for me, not on Lollipop Oxygen OS nor in Lineage 15.1 I am currently on. I have used Leeco headphones to try. They seem to light up, but no sound. I can even control / skip tracks by the button on the headphone. I have read somewhere that plugging it in and enabling OTG makes it work? Not sure how to do that in Lineage 15.1. I think its enabled by default.
Would appreciate if someone who know it works @Ryus71, @yogeshsharmagamerz tell how?
Thanks.

I never managed to get otg to work on the oneplus 2 on LOS or stock
Out of everything it looks like OTG was never intended to work or be supported
I know this is kinda old thread, but I tried Leeco USB C headphones with my OP2 running Lineage OS 17, latest weekely (26 December 2020 build) and I can get awesome music from them!
So somehow they seem to be working now, as previously they did not work on stock or even PE / LOS roms.
1. How is audio with usb-c to headphone jack adapter? Is it really poor?
2. Also does magisk/xposed work with your device?
Magisk is perfect for me. I don't use usb-c adapter

What android version are you on? Do you use an xposed as well?

I use the adapter from time to time with my stereo, it works well I think. Sounds like any typical 3.5mm jack. I use magisk, it works at expected. Very well! I never tried Xposed framework since passing safety net is important to me, I like my bank app and Google Pay to work. Xposed SHOULD work though, I don't see why it wouldn't, but again I've never used it on the 6T.
EDIT: To answer your above question, the 6T is a Pie device. Shipped with 9.0

1. It sounds like your average phone audio, I just hate bringing the adapter everywhere with me.
2. Yes, I'm currently using Magisk 19.1. I've never tried exposed though
I use a usb-c to 3.5 mm almost every day for music in my car, sounds just like anything else to my ears, and can always be tweaked using viper
Magisk works just fine and I don't have many Xposed modules but it works as expeted
And using edxposed you still pass safety net so no reason not to use Xposed for minminguard alone in my book
