How long did it take to receive Unlock Token? - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

For those with the T-Mobile variant, how long did it take for you to receive the Unlock Token, starting from when you requested it in OnePlus' website after typing in your IMEI and Unlock Code?

7 days to the tock just about I think

T-Mobile Sim Unlock

Has anybody requested a Sim Unlock Code from T-Mobile? How long did it take to get a response from HTC?
I called T-Mobile last Friday and they said that I would probably have my code in 24-48 hours, but it's been 7 days and I still haven't heard anything. Does HTC usually take longer than normal to reply with your unlock code? When should I expect it by?
I'm supposed to be selling my phone to a friend who has AT&T today, but without the unlock code he won't be able to use it. I wish I at least had some idea of when he could expect it, as it is I'm kind of leaving him hanging.
Got my unlock code back 10 hours after I got the first email that states they will try to get a code for you within 24 hours.
You waited 7 days? You should have been calling them twice a day from the beginning.

Got my unlock code from T-Mobile customer service in less than 48 hours. Also did the same with my Pearl a few years back. They're always great about it.
I had a different tmobile phone that I requested the unlock code for....they said it would take 24-48 hours...After about 2 days I called them and they were like " wait you did not get a email...? NO problem We will walk you over the phone with it"

It can take up to two weeks with the G1 because TMO doesn't have the codes on hand like they do with Blackberry like someone stated earlier. They have to contact HTC via email and wait for them(HTC) to provide the code so depending on how long it takes HTC to respond back with the code is how long it takes to get your unlock code...this is what i was told when i called on day 7. Was told that they have seen them take 7 days to 14 days, I got my email in about a week and a half. You should always call on day 3 after you make the request because you may not have received the email for some reason. (Entered incorrectly or spam filters on your email)
By no means is this directed to the OP. Calling over and over again will not make it happen anything happen faster as someone else suggests. It is funny how some people really thing that being pushy or an *** makes things get done faster. It is a service that is done for free as a courtesy, TMO is not trying to screw you over or make this difficult there are just processes like there are normally in life. If you want it faster there are means to get it faster but you have to pay for it.

[Q] Unlock won't work...

Hello everybody
I received an unlock code from T-mobile for my Vibrant, but it gives me an "unlock unsuccessful" message. I called T-mobile, and they essentially told me "it should work, sorry." I was wondering if the problem might have something to do with the fact that my phone is rooted...
And if that is an issue, can I use the nandroid method to unroot it? Odin doesn't seem to work for me; it always stops at "file analysis." I've heard that other people using Windows x64 have the same issue.
Look at the IMEI in the e-mail they sent you. Make sure they copied right. It will be on the top left 3rd line down.
Yeah, the IMEI is right. Also, I've heard that it's possible for these phones to be hardlocked... is there a chance that the seller accidentally hardlocked it before sending it to me?
I don't think so. T-Mobile would be the one doing the hard-locking.
Is there any other way for me to unlock the phone?
I was rooted when I requested the unlock code from tmo - it worked as expected
You didn't get your phone directly from tmo?

I have to wait a month until i can get mine unlocked.
I recent;y had another phone unlocked from them.
I didn't buy it from tmo, but I don't see why that would make a difference... they still gave me the unlock code based on the IMEI I gave them. They say they can't give me another unlock code, and I'm currently 7000 miles from the nearest T-mobile store (that was their "solution" - go to the store). Any idea whether it'd be worth it to try sinking $30 into one of the eBay unlockers?
I have the same problem with my vibrant. i purchased an unlock code from ebay with 100% success rate but when I entered the code: "network lock request unsuccessful"
I have the same problem with my vibrant. i purchased an unlock code from ebay with 100% success rate but when I entered the code it says "Network Lock Request Unsuccessful". Apparently the only way around this is to remove the Network Lock all together. Removing the network lock is done through unlocking software but unfortunately there is no software compatible with the Vibrant as of yet. Getting another code will not work either as your IMEI will give you the same code again. i just purchased an I-Smart SIM card, hopefully this will work. I will keep you posted
Don't buy from ebay EVER!!
Unlock codes are free from TMO
The sent me my unlock code 3 days after I bought it. It didn't work at first. I called TMO apparently my IMEI was truncated. they sent new unlock code and it worked perfectly.
Remember if you put your unlock code in to many times unsuccessfully, there is nothing TMO can do to get it unlock. It has to go back to Samsung
The reason I asked if you purchased the phone from someone else but TMO you might want to contact the seller and see if they can help you out.
they must have given you the wrong unlock code. Also, if you entered wrong unlock code 3 times, your phone will freeze and you would have to buy a unfreeze code online.

I go mine unlocked on ebay. It coast me $29 but well worth it. Took the seller 3 days to get the code and it worked.
Also T-MOBILE does not hard lock these. they can become hard locked if you enter the unlock code unsuccessfully 3 to 5 times. If you got that message once... i would not try again with that code. I would just get it from Ebay... T-mobile does not have a good track record with unlock codes for the Vibrant or the Garminfone

That is the reason I bought it from eBay. It took 15 seconds of my time, and the seller sent it within a few hours. By contrast, I have to figure out whom to email at Tmo, give them time to generate it, and then get it back to me. Certainly not worth my $30 to do more and wait 3 days.

Able to unlock to use ATT sim.?

I have a tmob s7 e that is not able to be unlocked yet by customer service. Is there a paid service I can use to unlock it so I can use an ATT sim?
i have mine unlocked thru cellunlocker and it works! went thru 2 fw updates still unlocked.
You can buy the unlock from ebay, search for tmobile app unlock, 6 bucks, 2-3 hours wait time.
Just did mine a few days ago, cause I was tired of waiting for tmobile to clear my phone, cause it's been on the network since release and paid off.
Its alot quicker if you use their twitter customer support. No hold times or waiting and they type in English and easy to understand. Got mine unlocked easy that way.

The one I bought said 1-24hrs I believe, but I got it within 2-3 or so, just get one that says 24hrs or so, waited this long, what's another day or two?
They unlocked mine for free I told them I was going out of the country for vacation and they temporary unlocked mine for a month and then when it expired after they said they'd reunlock it for another month before it expired which they didn't they permanently unlocked it for me and I'm on jump on demand with the device so I had no intention of paying off the phone fully.

ZTE ZMAX Pro Sim Unlock Screen Not Appearing

Greetings all I have searched left and right back and forth and cannot find a post on the forums concerning this issue. I currently have a ZTE Zmax Pro and want to change carriers. Sadly Metro for whatever reason won't unlock. So I went out and grabbed some unlock codes. But when putting in the sim card a Sim Unlock Screen does not appear at all. Anyway to force it to appear?
Thanks.

That is a shame to hear. Guess this phone is paperweight now. Metro completely screwed me on their end. Told me the phone was good to unlock. So brought it to another company and now my account is canceled and phone cannot be unlocked.

I just bought a new ZTE XMAX PRO few days ago I actually enjoy MetroPCS I tether off them like couple hundred gigabytes a month, and they will sell you that zMAX Pro unlocked and they will unlock it after three months of service for free if you can't do it yourself, I currently have Z981, SM-G900P, and XT1254. Tonight I'm going to look into rooting and possibly unlocking the SIM card what the code and the unlock device app that comes with Metro is blue with a little key
Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
No code needed on this phone to unlock. The unlocking process is done thru the "Unkock" app installed on phone. When app is launched, it communicates with a server, the server determines if phone is eligible for unlock. The above mentioned unlocking service apparently sends info to server "stating 90 days have passed(?) and is now eligible for unlock(?). I just unlocked another one today, phone is only 3 days old, less than 2 hours the phone was unlocked thru the Unlock app.

Sorry for sort of hijacking this thread, but I just have a very quick and simple question related to the original topic. I just purchased a used T-Mobile branded ZMax Pro that has been unlocked for use with any other GSM carrier. If I do a factory reset, would the phone remain unlocked? Thank you in advance for your help.

so if its done thru the app how did unlockbase unlock your phone, i just bought a brand new one cheap and id rather just unlock it instead of 3 months of service with metro and then im not sure if they would unlock it because its a used phone so id rather keep at&t and just unlock the phone. any info will help.
If you look at the profiles of both the users that posted about using a website to unlock the phone, that's the only post they've made. Those are just Ad Bots that post spam in forums.
Yep... Good old internet.
I'm almost at 90 days so the unlock app should work soon... I just want a carrier that I can achieve unlimited hotspot data from, like when I had Boost.

I know this old but I'm having the same issue now with the ZTE ZMAX Pro. How were you able to unlock the phone when it was only three days old? Was it because you used a sim card that had over 90 days of service with MetroPCS?

S10+ sim unlock question

So I got my s10+ thru AT&T on launch day but I would like to sim unlock it. I have tried 2 companies and they are telling me it's hard getting the codes right now, even though I asked before placing the order and was assured it would be all set.
Has anyone tried this and succeeded?
Thanks for any help

All of the servers we use to get codes state on all networks that "16 digit codes are unavailable". The s10 range are 16 digit codes.
We used "Chimera" to unlock my own phone and went through no problems..
You'll need to find an unlock shop that uses this software as it appears to be the only 3rd party solution at the minute.

That makes sense then and why no one can unlock yet with the codes. Does it usually take a week or two after launch for the codes to show?
Has anyone found a Sim Unlock site for the S10 that actually worked. Hoping the codes would of been out by now.
2 days after receiving my S10+ and processing the unlock request on the first day with At&t, I received my code to unlock the phone.

Please let me know, I could have my carrier locked S10+ in my hands by the end of this week and would like to unlock it.
I submitted the request today, I'll let you know how I make out.
So I finally got the unlock done. I went thru Cellunlocker.net. The codes are apparently still not available but they offered an alternative way. After I made payment they send you an email with a link and directions.
I had to download the program AnyDesk on my PC, from there I just connected my phone and the tech did the rest. Took about 10 minutes. My phone restarted twice and aft er the s ed condition reset he had me install the sim I wanted to use, came up with the Network Code request and I entered 8 zeros. Permanent Unlock! They did give me a discount code to share RMCU10.
i got mine from cellunlocker as well after getting the s10+ 2 days before. paid 25 for it

I went through cellunlocker as well and it took me about 2 1/2 days to get the codes, they sent me 3 codes (NCK, MCK, and RGCK). I used the 16 digits "NCK" code for mine. I put in my Google FI sim card, It asked for unlock code, and I used "NCK". Boom unlocked My S10+ was locked to Spectrum Mobile if that helps. Good luck!
I did mines on https://sim-unlock.net/ it took a day and £19.
just have a look at http://www.unlocksamsungonline.nl/en/scc it's direct unlock over USB cable so no need to wait for codes, latest security patches are supported, no need for root or downgrade. and most important, service is independant, and instant 24/7 so no need to wait for codes, just press the direct unlock botton and phone unlocked within 30 seconds.
Chimera won't do it
