Hi, is anyone currently using both? What features can't you use? I saw a thread on the 6 but I wanna make sure with the 6T being it on Pie and all. Thanks

I'm using both (non-LTE version).
I think the only features that are missing: email and messages.
All other features work the same (no additional downgrade if you're switching from a non-samsung to OP).

I am using it now and have all features including Samsung pay. I don't use the Samsung stock apps ever so email is aqua and text is Textra. They all work great.

That's odd someone mentioned in the 6 Forums that messages work fine with stock OOS messaging.

So you can reply to Facebook Messenger or apps like Telegram directly on the phone?

I love my new Focus that I bought yesterday, but I would like to know how, and where to download some ringtones? I havent been able to find a spot to do this. please any help would be awesome. Also if anyone could tell me a good twitter app to use that would be awesome. thx so much
As far as I know, you can't currently have custom ringtones.
As for a Twitter client, there's the official Twitter app which I use and find suitable, and the other well received app is Seesmic.

Wish it came in January, or February, but now onto March and still hoping. This should not be a difficult fix for them. Why are they trying to wrap up all these things into one huge update? Faster and smaller releases would do a lot for this new OS.
Hi!
Does the most recent OnePlus 2 official build include the lock/pin function in the recent apps? Which would prevent an application to be purged.
Thanks

yes I think.
Also, this is an awesome feature: if someone knows a similar app on CM or manages to port it, would be super !

Yeah exactly! I have LG G2 with CM13 and I miss this feature very much. One of the reasons I consider a new phone.
I have to admit I don't understand why Moto (or any OEM for that matter) give us a stock SMS app when it seems to be inferior to Google's Messenger app. Are there any advantages to using it? Especially since you can't disable it, we're all kind of stuck with it even if we don't use it.
it's a stock android messaging app. just download google messenger and make it as default app then.

Oh I know. I'm just wondering why they put their own messaging app if Google already makes a better one. I'm wondering if there's a reason for that,

"better" is subjective. I consider them both inferior to Textra, but not everyone shares that opinion of course.

Oh yeah of course. But I'm comparing features from stock to Google's Messenger (quick replies and such). I'm just wondering if there's any advantage to using the stock app. I'm thinking it's a little useless, as a company, to build your own when the AOSP version is great and Google's Messenger too.
As promised, here is my tutorial on how to clone any application under EMUI's App Twin feature:
https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-clone-any-application-with-emuis-app-twin-feature-no-root/
Tutorial works without a rooted device. Still requires you to use the stock launcher, though, which is a limitation of the App Twin feature itself. Works fine with nearly every app in my experience, though.
This was the only real reason I didn't stay on Chinese version which gets updates 74 times a day. Now I can stay Chinese and not suffer their crap choice of twin apps. Great work, thanks!
This is great! it works perfectly, thank you.

Someone tell me if this version of MIUI that is the most recent also works like the tutorial https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=11410963190603847531
Instead of using this one that is older, and so be able to update with XIAOMI EU without any doubt https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262903997427

First off. It's a new experience and modding your phone is one the reasons for being on xda. Curiosity.
Secondly. It offers so many nifty features in comparison to stock that I actually started liking it. And the animations are really nice.
Finally. It's nice to have a change once in a while. Using the phone everyday with the same UI can get boring.
I have no idea why I took so much time to answer your question seriously.
