Anyone know how to get the adoptable storage on MM? Tried the how to for the S7 but it doesnt work.
If you are rooted you can download "Root Essentials". It has a mode there that will activate the adoptable storage. But remember you can't use your sd card anymore on your computer..

I am using an S7 edge with Nougat , I made my 128GB memory card as an adoptable storage by using command prompt in my laptop. I had to factory reset my phone. But unfortunately after that I can't use memory card as adoptable storage. I tried possibly everything. Can anyone help me

how can i have adoptable storage in oreo in stock rom(rooted) ? not GSI rom.
i have tab a t585 with T585XXS5CSH1 android 8.1 official. i need to downgrade it to 7.0 so that i can increase internal storage with sd card.
is there any other way so that i can format sd card as internal storage or only way is i can downgrade it to 7.0 then ?

you can used app2 sd to convert it to adaptable storage ,it wont work on samsung roms i guess though ,you will need root
