Me three! Can get from Mobicity/Clove/Hantec but would prefer a 32/64gb LTE (a bonus) carrier version to come to Aus! Waiting is driving me crazy....want this phone! 4G definitely not essential for me but (at the very least) 32gb is
iPhone Tapatalk
Me four
The LTE in the N7150 probably wouldn't work with the ass-backwards 4g infrastructure here anyway, but I really want a grey 64gb. I've only found 16GB variants here in Norway.

You'll have to wait a bit, just like S3 it was harder to find when it just got released... I bought the 16GB with a 64GB microsd problem solved
How long did the SIII take to get 32GB after launch? To me 16GB is just not enough internal storage - I'm not android competent (yet) and I'd like easy access to more storage for Apps (happy to shove music/films etc on 64GB card)

Doesn't help those who want 64gb + 64gb = 128gb of storage, like I do. I hope it won't take as long for the 64gb Galaxy Note II to be released, as it will for the Galaxy S III (why is this still not released!?!?).

32GB Note 2 is available in Dubai for 2450 Dhs ($662 USD). Just ordered one and it's coming tonight, will keep you posted.
EDIT: Spoke too soon.. they're "out of stock" on the 32GB, got the 16GB instead+ 64GB MicroSD
@ gabster21,
could you kindly clarify....
1. Is the 32GB "out of stock" because a 32GB for sale is already launched and a lot of people ordered it...? (hence waiting for new stock of 32GB)
or
2. Is it "out of stock" because it is not available as of now...?!? (waiting for 32GB to be launched)
thanks.
I was told I could get the 32gb version for about 60 $ extra than the 16gb, of course I said yes. The person from the shop then called me back saying that they were sold out.
He said they would receive more on Sunday however I'm not sure I really believe him and it's possible they never had it in the first place. 64gb sd card makes up for it though

And Me,too I want to buy the 32GB , and buy 64GB micro SD Card....It is perfect!!!
I went into a T-mobile store the other day and the rep told me they have microsim adapters available for $5. I've heard lots of stories of people who tried adapters they bought online that were bad quality and didn't fit well and ended up getting stuck inside the phone.
Does anyone have any experience with the official one t-mobile sells?

Micro to regular. I'm currently using my s2 so I'm going to buy a microsim for the N4. Google shipped me the wrong device and I want to make sure I can switch my sim to my s2 when I'm shipping the nexus back.
Also.. do you know if sim cards are one time uses, or I can call tmobile to have them switch between my regular and the micro?

I would just stick to using one sim card. You don't have to buy a sim card they usually go for $10-20 unless you get lucky and hey one for free. Go YouTube on hour to cut one using the template that's what I did and it works fine. If you failed the cut then you can buy one

I would not recommend T-Mobile's adapters! I tried inserting the adapter(without a sim card to see how it would work) into my old Galaxy S and it got stuck. I had to rip it out which caused the pins to bend and almost break! I had to smoosh them down several times before a sim card would register. I probably would of ruined my microsim had it been in there.

Please tell me you are not serious. If you insert ANY SIM adapter into the phone without the SIM card then the hole is left open where the SIM would go and the pins (which read the SIM) will lock the adapter into place. No matter which SIM adapter you use, you should NOT install it without the SIM card. I'm pretty sure it even says this on the SIM adapter's packaging.
Common sense people, try to use it.
...With that said, the T-Mobile SIM adapter has been working perfectly for me when swapping my micro SIM from the N4 to my Galaxy nexus.

They probably shipped an N4 with the wrong amount of internal storage (8GB vs 16GB). It's happened to a few others as well.

Must be nice for the people who ordered 8GB and got a 16GB instead
I've used a SIM adapter after I changed to micro-SIM waiting for my Nexus 4 to come in. It worked well in my phone, which was an Optimus T at the time. I know I could've purchased it cheaply online, but it worked well for what I needed and it was only $5. I still have mine just in case I decide to switch to a phone for a specific day or anything.

Yea by nexus, I meant the the N4 not the Galaxy Nexus lol. I ordered and was charged for two 16gb, but received two 8gb .

Hello.
I am by no means struggling to survive with 16gb but I, and others would like to have a few more big games readily available to my nexus 4 when I'm not at home.
With my last phone I used an otg adapter and a micro sdcard reader and just swapped the game files over when I wanted to.
But considering otg is not looking hopeful for our phone I have spent hours looking for a solution.
The only thing I have found is the Kingston Wi-Drive but that is extremely expensive here in the UK.
So does anyone know of a similar, cheaper (or at least higher capacity for the same price area) device that would work or perhaps suggestions on how to put something together?
I appreciate any responses or ideas.
Thanks,
ORStoner

Also using a first gen Amazon Kindle Fire and can't wait to get the K1 tablet and actually have storage space☺
Nope. The hotspot option on my iPhone works really well. MicroSD possibilities with folder mount solves all my storage woes.

This, I just bluetooth tether for data if I want (less power/heat than wifi) and use the SD for storage.

Same here. I'm planning on tethering with my phone and my car (which also has LTE hotspot capabilities). No need to give AT&T any more money than I already have.
Same same.
Have been looking at fast sd's and some are rated faster than the nan memory. I clocked the nan at 80mb/s on a quick test.
The lexar card is 95mb/s.

What are the limits of the microSD slot?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Since on Verizon I could care less about the LTE radios since useless to me. I do want the extra storage and hoping the 32GB does not have the wifi issues. If it does, I will return that as well. I already have the Shield 1 (great device- as long as did not recently update- 82 makes it a bad device). I though I could get by, but the 10GB (I think that is what it had) is too small for me and Android L will take 20% more of that due to ART.
Also have a Note 2014 32GB that I planned on selling for the Shield tablet. The wifi was bad on the the 16GB version Shield. Yes, I know some are happy and that is great, but there are also some not happy and Best Buy has been getting some returns due to cracks and wifi issues. Did not have long enough to notice any cracks develop, since the weak wifi made the device a moot point for me. 2.4ghz was weaker than the 3DS for gosh sakes.
If Amazon is correct, the LTE model has been pushed back for "unspecified reasons". Likely due to both the cracks and the wifi.

I don't like using my phone because I don't want to use all my battery and don't want to leave it plugged in, I also have to teather 5 or so devices at once.
The line with the Unite on it is still in contract for another year and would rather put my tablet on it, either that or move the line from my Vita to the tablet, because the data on the Vita is SO USEFUL /sarcasm,

Gone for the 32gb 633 Lexar card. Roughly 90mb/s read 40mb/s write.*
The only other card I could find was the Sandisk Extreme PRO which is only available in 16gb flavour and clocks in at an impressive 90 read and 90 write.
Did a full test of the nand memory with reboot and that came back at 89 read and 36 write.
Should be here in a couple of days, I'll do a few tests and report back.
I'll make a new thread also so as not to clog this one up

I'm still waiting for the 32gb LTE version. I have the 16gb version no, but it's going in return as soon at the shop sends med the 32gb LTE model. I've allready paid for the 32gb one, but they sent me the wrong one.
So far i don't think 16gb i nearly enough and i don't get why they would market a 16gb model towards gamers.
How many Tegra games can you install on 11.6gb available space anyway.
Don't feel like paying my carrier extra $ to add data access when I can tether and I can use folder mount to transfer games to SD card or use the built in transfer to SD option so im good with my 16gb shield tablet.

Likewise, if it can make calls it'll replace my phone (and I'll sell or gift my current 16gb Shield Tablet).
I ordered my LTE model few days back. Still waiting for it and noticed from the shield's website that it has been delayed towards end of the month. Just my luck
I saw yesterday that the delivery of my 32gb model is pushed back to 06.10.2014. I'll return all the shield stuff i have now on monday and buy a tab s 10.5 instead.

I bought both 16gb and preorder the 32gb of the tablet, all I keep doing is returning the 16gb after 28 days (part of the return policy) and rebuy it lol.
until the 32gb version comes out, I much prefer to have a lot of internal storage just because its so much faster than the micro SD,
even tho I'm using the Samsung pro 64gb (90mb read 80 mb write), plus using a cloned sim from my mobile provider, I can use my data plan on my tablet, which is nice instead of tethering and killing my phone battery.

Have you tried running HL2 from the card? If so does it take ages to load & stutter?
Nb. Samsung pro cards are 70 read /20 write according to Samsung.

I agree. Sounds like a corrupted/bad SD card.
My brand new 64GB SanDisk got corrupted as well. Have another one from a few years ago (16GB) that still works fine.
Try taking it out of the tray and putting it back in. For me at least, it sometimes detects the files long enough to get them copied over.
I have gone through 5 64gb sandisks and I've made them replace it Everytime . Even though they've had many people write on their site that their galaxy phones and their sandisks 64gb cards were crapping out. My 128 has done well so far. And some 32gb also are still working but my note 2, note 3, kept killing 64 cards where it wouldn't allow write, then it just started corrupting all the files slowly by changing the names to crap symbols.
I hate them 64gb sandisks
That's why I rock an Evo.

Happened to me as well. Brand new 64gig lexar. I was trying to cast a tv show. LocalCast was, well being LocalCast and I installed allcast. Then... Poof.. It was gone. How to mount it on my PC and reformat. Lost a lot of stuff. Oh well.
Same with sandisk 64gb, had it it in my m8 had to get it replaced and still haven't opened the new one. Bought a sandisk 200gb. I think I was able to save some pics but even u would take a pic, it wouldn't be there. I lost alot of good family pictures because of that card. I see why they offered a lifetime warranty
