But if i insert my headphones in the middle of any song or a call it wont detect it and the music continues to come from the speaker. I am really pissed off with this problem mostly when i am on a call it just doesn't allow me to continue with the call over headphones I can't hold my phone throughout the call i need to use my headphones. please let me know whats the problem and how can i fix this.

Want phone to ring with wired headset connected

Anyone know how to make the THD to ring through speakers when a call is incoming? I like to use a wired headset and have it connected all the time so I don't have to plug it in our out all the time.
Didn't notice this at first since if you have 100% System Volume you can actually hear the ring but it's coming from the headphones and not the speaker so thought it was through speakers automaticly (also read someone claiming this in another thread).
So does anyone know of a way to solve my problem? Or is it just me getting the sound through headphones only when connected?
Thanks
I have the same question...
Mine seems to randomly ring through the speakers even with a headset connected sometimes, I find it pretty annoying since I don't want it to happen. I don't know how it's caused though.

[Q] Mute bluetooth music on phone call

I'm having a strange problem that I'm trying to see if it's bluetooth stack or CM 10.1 related. When I'm sitting here at work listening to my bluetooth headphones (Jabra BT3030), anytime a phone call comes through, the headphones mute and the ringer AND the music I'm listening to start blaring out of the rear phone speaker. I have to reject the call, stop the music player, and then call the person back. The headphones I'm using also function as a handsfree headset, so, in theory, the phone ring, music, and all answer/deny functions should be handled by the headphones. They've certainly worked this way on every other Android phone I've owned, so I was just curious if this might be an oddity of the new BT stack on 4.2.1, a bug in CM 10.1, or even possibly a setting I'm missing that's causing me this issue. Anyway, when I call the person back, the headphones take on the role of handsfree headset just fine.
Thanks in advance!
I am experiencing the exact same issue on my Galaxy S3 using Moto S305 headphones and CM10.1. I've been searching all over for a solution to this problem and haven't had any luck.
I figured out how to stop the music player audio from coming out of my speaker when receiving a call while on bluetooth. If you turn your ringer volume up then it won't send the music from the player out the speaker phone. When you have the ringer set to vibrate only then it sends your music out the speaker. But I don't want ringer noise either, I just want it to vibrate. My solution was to take my favorite ringtone and insert 5 seconds of silence before it starts to ring. That way I have 5 seconds to either reject the call or answer it before it starts making noise.

[Q] how to hear from speaker when i unplugged headphones

Hello Friends
I test the android rom MIUI and works perfect to my phone but i have one problem,
my mobile has an old problem with the earpiece and i must always wired headset to listen,
so, when i recieve a call, my mobile rings through the wired headset and i can not listen only if i unplugged them,
can someone please tell me if there is a solution;
if can ring trough the speaker?
The rings are by default the speaker playing it..
but what I understood that your speaker is damaged?
Of course if you speaker's phone damaged, then there must be another thing that you can hear the sound!!

sory for my english,
the back speaker is ok and works perfect!!!
I have problems with the earpiece of the mobile, i can listen from the back speaker, so I got connected wired headphones to listen always.
But when i recieve calls, the ringing tone is heard through wired headphones, not heard from the back speaker in mobile.
Is there a solution, to have the wired headphone plugged but to hear only the ringtone from the back speakers in mobile?
otherwise, I should have disconnected the headphones to listen the call, and when i recieve the call , plugged the headphones to be able to speak.
i search to settings but there is no function to do this.
This must a software do that, you may find an app to do that for you...
I think this is good example: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...ioconcert.headset.ringtone.manager.demo&hl=en
Good luck

Phone does not put call sound (ringing or talking) through headphones

I will be listening to music through headphone, and a call comes and it isnt through headphone, I call with headphones in and call goes through phone speaker as if I do not have hadphones in at all.
If I press the speakerphone button, I will then hear through my headphone, but still cant talk through headphone mic.
I thought the call screen is supposed to give you options (headset, or headphones) but I think only saw it once, only thing the button does now is just switch the speakerphone and off the speakerphone.
Any one run into the same problem?
I have a similar issue except whole connected to my aux receiver in my car i can't take calls through bt i have to pick up the phone

People can't hear me when my headset is plugged in

This does not happen every time and a reboot seems to fix it for a little while however....
When I plug my headset in (no mic on headset) no one can hear me regardless of the phones mute setting. If I unplug the headset everyone can hear me again. Ending a call and starting a new call doesn't resolve this issue either. I have to do a full reboot or not use a headset. It is very annoying. Anyone heard of this issue before?
Seems like the phone is registering the headset as having a microphone when it doesn't. How many bands are on the plug? Stereo headphones generally only have 2 plastic rings on the plug, while headphones with a microphone will have 3. If the headphones plug has 3 bands or isn't sitting in the jack correctly it might be registering as having a mic when it doesn't.
There are only two bands on the headphones
