I'm having ghost touch issue since past two months but I neglected it thinking it might get fixed in next update.
Now after two updates I'm still having the touch issue & at this point my phone has become unusable for messaging or gaming.
What should I do?

I plan on exchanging my phone really soon (sometime this week). Resets randomly and has poor battery life when IDLE. Does anyone have an idea of how long stores usually take to get the updated system version of phones? Thanks in advanced!
why dont you just do the OTA update?
I've got the phone for about 2.5 weeks now and haven't had one random reboot till the update. Now i've gotten 3 random reboots so far. I guess it's just one of those things you have to live with with a smart phone.

lol smh yeah I should probably do that first. I just didn't want to have to worry about the new root method. Also, it didn't say, but has the new update fixed the reboot issues with those who have had that problem and then updated?
Still running official stock + root only and had a random reboot. A couple of minutes later I got a text and when to open and it rebooted again.
First one since I updated basically as soon as the ota file was posted.
Even stock isnt perfect. Even the "magical" iPhone crashes.
It's the nature of software to crash when it starts getting very complex. Not to excuse it, as some sort of report will eventually come Google's way, but it's not a big surprise.
did take the update the normal way or did uflash by custom recovery?

To be honest,
Never had an Iphone.
I have a first gen Ipad I bought the first month it came out. Also have and ipod touch.
the thing NEVER EVEN ONCE crashed on me. EVER. I use it 2 hours daily, for over 1.5 years.
I'm just sayin.

odd my iphone crash atleast twice a week or bad lock ups just saying
Yeah I know. Not complaining or anything. Just letting it be known that I had one for the first time. I had not seen any reported yet. But then again I stopped reading the issue / complaints thread due to the fact that it was full of nonsense IMHO
Since you're rooted you can backup and try doing a cache / factory / dalvik wipe and try to restore the official ROM that you can find in the stickies.
Did you wipe when you got your original OTA update?
I got many random reboots, the phone is not rooted. First I got it after the update during a call so I did a factory reset and since then I haven't got reboots during calls but I get like 2 reboots each day while the phone is idle
I have received my zuk z1 international version a few days ago and so far loving it. The best part of the phone is indeed the cyanogen OS. However, I seem to be getting tons of OTA updates, almost everyday if not multiple times a day. Of course I'm not complaining as I like to see the OS getting fixes and features, but what bothers me is I can't see what a particular update is bringing. Can somebody please redirect me to some change log page for cyanogen where I could see what are these updates that my zuk is getting? Here is that latest one I'll install once I'm done with this post
Thanks!

Just got my phone a few days ago as well, also loving it, and have noticed the OTA updates. Saw this same update today and just installed.
Effect on current issues I'm experiencing:
Double-tap to wake not functioning: No change
Lack of U-Touch functionality: No change
Volume decreases when screen goes off: No change
Update! Double tap to wake and volume issues do seem to have resolved. Perhaps it took a reset or two. I'm a happy camper!
Hmm, I had a few OTA updates in the first day or so, but nothing since then until today. It seems odd you are getting loads.
I too would like to see some sort of release note changes log.
I had a bunch of updates when I first got the phone a couple of weeks ago. I have just got one of 47mb today. I have no idea what the update is for though ?
I can't find a changelog from today's update. Security update?

Nope. Nowere to be found for this device..
There is no project for zuk in cyanogen JIRA system either. Not sure what they are fixing and what they are updating and where to log bugs.

Does anyone else's phone keep insisting that they're in the middle of the Gulf of Guinea when on cellular? So far, the phone will hang on that location for a while and eventually find where I actually am; but after a while, only rebooting the phone will fix the issue. It's getting really irritating.
Honor released an update today (FRD-L04), in the change log they mentioned GPS fixing and optimization
Probably will reach you this week
Got the update, GPS seems to be locking on better.
What month is security patched to now, if anyone knows?

Same here.
Quite surprised.
Smoother and a great update it seems like.
I have to send mine in due to static from the speakers though. I almost don't dare, in case I get a replacement
Wow finally we got it!

Did you manage to get the speaker static fixed? I've sent mine back three times now and they keep saying its fine - but the sound is completely unusable at the lowest volumes with the static/distortion.

Why is it Lenovo have stopped sending out the 7.1.1 update? I have it but my partner doesn't. When asking Lenovo they said they have never rolled out the update. Mmm someone's lying!

Lenovo lies to avoid to have to fix the update...
The news are that have some bugs and Lenovo have no plan to fix it, so that's why they have retired the update from their servers... You can download the update zip from internet and flash it manually (that's what I did), but have some things that fails like for example screen casting.
I don't use screen casting and I've not found other bugs for now, but maybe have more...
