Is there any faster way to enable/disable fast charging other than going to Device Maintenance in settings?

app request?

hey guys,
wondering if it was possible to get a lickscreen where the unlock slide is a battery with actual battery percentage. another thing, is there's a way to add a reboot option when you hold down the power button down. along with the power off, lock device, set vibrate and terminate data connection.

Is power management option in winmo still necessary?

We used to switch off all power management option in winmo to get android to control its own power. Is the most update kernel capable in handling the power interface or we still need to trun those options off for blackstone to suspend properly?

[INFO] Waking Up Your EEE Pad Transformer Without Pressing The Power Button

This is a small tip for those who owns the Asus EEE Pad Transformer and bought it together with the keyboard dock – there is a simple way to wake up your EEE Pad Transformer from sleep mode (when the screen is turned off from a display timeout) without pressing the power button. To do this, you can just disable the option “mobiledock battery saving mode” in the settings -> display section and that’s it. Now when the screen timeout goes into effect, you can press more or less any key (try spacebar for instance) to wake the transformer up from sleep mode. Do take note that this will however drain the battery more quickly but it is useful if you’re the type of person who goes back and forth your Android Netbook Hybrid often (like myself). Alternatively, you could always get “Screen On Toggler” from the Android Market to disable the screen timeout temporarily and then reenable the timeout when you’re done working. Hope this tip helps
Note: This will not work while your transformer is charging via the keyboard. It works only when your transformer is connected to the keyboard dock AND not charging (i.e: running purely on battery)

Kinda silly, that's what the unlock button the dock does too, you don't need to press the power button on the pad....

you dont need to press the power button only if you have disabled the “mobiledock battery saving mode” in the settings -> display section. If you did not disable it, you wont be able to unlock with the unlock button on the dock. Also when your dock is being charged pressing the unlock button on the dock wont' do a thing, you still have to press the power button on the tablet to show the lockscreen.
It's old news that if the power saving feature is off you can unlock with any button on the keyboard. I wouldn't give up sleep mode for dock just to unlock it w/o pressing the power button though. The dock doesn't sleep the instant the screen is off, takes another minute or so, in this time you can press unlock button to unlock again. If you left the tablet for a long time, I don't see the difference between reaching for the power button and pressing a button.

Well actually there might be a difference, depending on how durable the power button is if you get my drift
The unlock button does unlock it for me with dock power saving on.
Unlock key works.
But it is nice to be able to use other keys.

It does work if you just locked it, but after about 5 minutes or so you wont be able to unlock it with the unlock key if you leave the mobile dock battery saving setting enabled.
anyone else disable their lock screen? seems totally pointless to me, the tf's not going to turn itself on in my pocket - it cant fit in my pocket
It doesn't matter whether I turn the option on or off (and it seems no matter how long I leave it in the sleep mode); multiple taps on any key will always wake the pad up!
Does the mobiledock battery saving mode work for anyone? No matter how many times I toggle the mobiledock battery saving mode, it always will wake up when the keyboard is attached, and the battery drain is waaay higher. I've resorted to not leaving the two connected when idle, which is stupid, but at least I don't lose 50% of the dock battery as it idles while I'm at work.

Same issue here. The dock always wakes the tablet and my dock battery drains as if it is always on. I didn't know that if you disconnect it, the battery will drain slower. Good to know.

I've had the opposite experience.
In fact, I didn't know about the battery saving mode and I was starting to get really pissed off that my unlock key wasn't working.
No keys were working to wake it up and I was forced to use the power button (I know, what a hard life right!)
I leave the two connected all day and battery life is incredibly good.
I disabled the battery saver thing because I was hoping to solve an SD card issue I had where, upon waking after sleep (had to use power button) I would get that "preparing external sd card" message everytime but occasionally my files wouldn't show up.
And, since this is where my roms are kept, I get grumpy!
I haven't used it enough to see if I still get the SD card problem yet though.
So far from what I noticed at least on my unit of transformer+dock is that the battery in the dock lasts longer if the mobile docking battery saving mode is enabled but this prevents me from unlocking the tablet using any keys on the keyboard dock which i feel is a bigger disadvantage, so i decided to disable the option
I like to squeeze my Transformer's nose shut while it's sleeping to wake it up.
I always thought I was crazy but I have the same problem. Regardless if it's checked or not, I can wake up my TF with any key.

Faster way to power off Android Wear watch via app?

I'm sure most of you folks will power off your watch at the end of the day to save on battery and minimize the need to recharge it the next day.
But to do so, we need to perform a series of long steps.
1. Press Dial
2. Settings
3. Scroll down
4. Power Off
5. Yes
Is there a app or way either on the phone or watch where I can quickly power off the watch like a Quick Power Menu which is commonly on and for android phone?

Wondering the same thing.. Would think this would be an easy app or one that you can schedule to power down.
I use theater mode on my LG Urbane for the night by double pressing the watch crown.
Not a true shutdown but stops notifications at least and may have a sleep mode.

I haven't found any app for shut down any android wear quickly.

Status bar grey power saving mode mm

Update my note 4 mm. I really liked it
but when you start the power saving status bar is grayed
it is awful
there any way to turn it transparent?without leaving power saving
That is the function of it being gray. System disables transparency to save battery power, if you disable it, then why even bother with power saving?
