SAMSUNG NOTE 4 - android.media.midi inputPort.flush(); not working - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I've got problems with android.media.midi. I am developing an app and the command
inputPort.flush(); is not working on Note 4.
I know that the code is alright because same code runs fine on
MOTO G running 7.0 API24.
Is this a known issue? I have latest firmware.
Is there something i could try?

Android wear for kitkat 4.4.4

I bought moto 360 v2
I have galaxy grand neo which support kitkat 4.4.4.
I cant download android wear from appStore , it says not compatible.
so to check notification on moto 360 v2?
Perhaps you should install a custom ROM on your galaxy grand neo that is based on 5.1.1 or 6.0.1. that is probably the only thing you can do. Or buy a new phone.

According to Google's FAQ page, https://support.google.com/androidwear/answer/6056390?hl=en Android 4.3 or higher and Bluetooth are required. It sounds like your problem is that the Play Store won't let you download it. Maybe you can find somewhere else to download it from.

Galaxy Tab S2 8 inch - SM-T710: potential numpty questions

Hi Guysmy Galaxy Tab S2 8 inch - SM-T710 is running andriod 7.0 , which seems to be the last support ed / issued version.
I have started to notice that a few apps are crashing when I try to open them...
My Oneplus phone run Oxygen 10.1.....
Is it possible to format / wipe the Samsung, and install Oxygen 10? or is is a case of living with it till it becomes unusable ?
Thanks
You can flash oxygen os if someone has made a port of it, converted it to run on a tab s2 I doubt that's been done though.
There are loads of other custom android versions available I'm running lineage os 16 which is android 9 on mine. I've tried android 10 versions but none work correctly.
Many thanks. I will look into lineage os 16. Are there are how to guides that you would recommend?

Can I install kali nethunter on Nexus 4?

I repaired my nexus 4. (I bought a secondhand broken device to install a kali nethunter)
I wanted to install kali nethunter, but I don't think it's supporting my device anymore as the version has been updated.
I tried to download version 1.1, but I couldn't find a possible site.
Does anyone have a solution or 1.1 version?
Just yesterday I installed it on a Galaxy Note 10. The list of compatible Galaxy devices ends with Galaxy Tab S4 (Oreo). I'm running Android 11 on a rooted Note 10, lol. What I did was flash the "Generic ARM64". It flashed fine but not a whole lot actually works though. The kali-terminal is probably the best thing about it. You have a Nexus 4, it looks like Nexus 5 and above are on the list. I'm not saying you should, I'm just letting you know that the Generic one worked for me.

Nexus 4 has ARMv7 so Generic might not work.
@131101 It can also brick your phone, just be careful.

Doesn't ARMv7 support ARMhf?
Let's us know what you decide to do. I should have mentioned to be careful of the ARM version and that it's the same as the version you install, if you install any at all.
Oh yeah, I forgot to meantion that you can and probably should extract the zip file and find the .apk's and install them rather than flashing the zip. I have a rooted S8 with a locked bootloader and I can't tell the difference from the phone I flashed the zip on and the one I manually installed the apk. Most things don't work equally on both, lol.

Want to upgrade my tab 4 7.0 (sm-t239) to lollipop or higher please

Hello! I just want to update my galaxy tab 4 7.0 (sm-t239) lte to android 6.0 or higher
Any custom os or rom would do. Help me if anyone knows please
Thanks in advance!
No. Basically Impossible. The marvel pxa1088 chip in this device, never had it's sources (of drivers for hardware, to make a higher version of android work on this device and successfully activate and use the hardware) released. Developers essentially have nothing to start with.
Someone reverse engineered, supposedly from the stock firmware, and built an android 5.0 lollipop ROM but it is definitely impossible to use as essentially NOTHING worked, including Wi-fi.
So unfortunately you can't. Better buy a phone/tablet with exynos/Snapdragon chipsets inside as those got more support.
