This is the era of Oreo rom war. But why there is no build with "one handed mode" in hardware button customisation ?? Is there any complexity in one handed mode for development ?? Or developers consciously avoiding this mode ??

a few things that had me thinking:
1) does anyone feel this update makes the text on the screen a bit more pixelated. it doesnt seem as sharp as ics.
2) there a load of options missing from the rom control like power option no screenshot ability?
3) lockscreen only 3 targets show. no option in opntions to set more than three,.
Firstly, you could have simply posted a reply over at Resurrection Remix's thread instead of creating a thread about your opinions here.
Secondly, the current Jelly Bean version of RR ROM is based on AOKP's nightly builds - which means that many things are still under development.
Things may be missing currently like what you've mentioned but you may look forward to future releases when more features and customizable options would be back.
Furthermore, Android Jelly Bean source codes are just released not long ago. You can't rush things to be done up so quickly, dude.
+ Regarding screenshot, c'mon, you can just press Volume Down Key + Power Key for it.
This bloke is ridiculous. You try make a ****ing ROM. Go on give it a shot. It's really not that easy you d!ck.

Clearly wasn't thinking when you made a new thread for this though
I think he was desperate to earn more posts since he has only made 6 so can't post on RR threads. But that doesn't stop him from reading RR op and faq.
If u earn ur stripes to post do be careful in what u post. It needs to be helpful or new or something that has not been covered. Learn from this or i will have to set pigmachine on u.
Why don't use just bloody flash rr 2.6.1 if u won't all the rom control features?
Main ROM : RR AOKP 2.6.1
2nd Rom : RR JB 3.03
KERNEL : Dorimanx 5.64 new
Modem : LQ6
Root app: SuperSu
Hey folks, I hope I got the right section for my question:
Do someone know any ROM Based on Android Marshmellow, which inkludes a funktion to swap the hardwarekeys "back" and "menu"? So, I think since Lollipop, Android swapped these buttons and I can just not habituate with that!
Everyone is crying about FP and laser autofokus, but no one inkludes this small function. Yes the most ROMs allow to give the menu/recents button some options to change, but I want the BACK button at the right and the MENU button on the left and holding home for RECENTS.
I've tried so many ROMs on different states, but never found that function.
Well, maybe you guys know such a ROM, where the funcion is included and if there never was one I would appreciate it if someone would inklude this in future ROMs! THANK YOU!
Oh btw. the latest version with that function I've found is the RAZOR fix from jan'16 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/development/official-5-1-1r24-t3225913), but this is still Lollipop and comes with some bugs for me. Their official website is still down for me, I can't get more information.
Hello
Since I got i9505 I test lot of roms. In few of them, there is very good customize power menu (On the Go Mode, flashlight). How I can do it in Echoe Rom, PAC-Man or simmilar?
Regards
Those features have to be added by the developer. You can also make your own custom build with those features included, but this requires some development knowledge.
Thanks for answer. I`ll try to find another solution, like 3th party App.
Last question - why in android 6.x, in SMS default app, option - 3 sec delay before send is missing?
I wanted to know if there is a developer out there who is currently working on google pixel port for gt-i9500.

Why don't you head over to the i9500 Android Development Thread and check it out? Sort by ROMs, and Date Modified.
(to answer your question, no, but there are plenty of AOSP/CM Nougat ROMs which you can theme. You can request an animated navbar if you so wish)
Just to add to this, porting a PIxel ROM to the S4 is impossible, as the Pixel devices use 64-bit code. Not to mention some options available to Pixel users are not open source, such as the revamped settings menu. @negusp's answer (theme an AOSP/Lineage OS ROM) is the only viable option for a device that is nearly four years old.
I have noticed that there is no TWRP recovery available for our device and also no custom rom which i wanted for customization as stock rom doesn't have it.
If anyone found TWRP recovery for mi a1. please post here as I want to root my device.
Bro, you can root your device without TWRP, but yes we all are looking for the TWRP for our lovely device, hope someone will crack it soon, hope for the best !

This phone is awesome, I like RAM management of this phone. I don't think this phone requires any customisation and guys feel innovative of this ROM atleast for few month's.
Is rom customization was what you were after then you should not have gotten this device. The A/B partition makes development hard. This is the main problem the pixels had and why many developers stopped working on devices with that partition.
I know that
Last gen Android one devices had rich custom ROM development. I expect same for mi A1. Though it will take some time, but twrp and custom ROMs will soon be available. I want custom ROM for features like night light, pixel color palette, double tap to sleep, button customisation, button led, etc, etc.
Custom ROM and Custom Kernals will only be available when OeM will release the source code
Official TWRP for Xiaomi Mi A1
But for my knowledge, the official twrp is already released. I have the file but as I'm new in the forum so I'm not able to post the external link in the post. DM me if anyone needs the link.
(If have any doubt you can check the compatibility directly boot from this twrp without flashing stock.)
