TWRP Recovery not working.

I just rooted my phone yesterday and I tried to delete a TWRP backup that was on my internal memory. I was unable to find out how to do it and set permissions in TWRP, which caused my phone to start booting with unable to start messages and a black screen. I tried restoring a backup and I wiped and restored, both have still same issue.
So at the moment I can start TWRP or factory reset, but as of yet, I cannot restore my backup.
When I backed up the phone I didn't select everything, I left out data.
Since you didn't backup your data, they are a few options. Wipe dalvik and cache from recovery, dirty flash a rom, clean flash a rom.

XT1575 Bootlooping but I can still get into TWRP

I've got a MOTO X Pure unlocked bootloader, TWRP 3.1.1, running AICP. I decided to try out Resurrection Remix. Made a nandroid backup, flashed RR rom, Gapps. Then the problems started. Never could wipe cache/dalvik, it just restarts. Tried restoring backup, just restarts. Tried other Roms, just restarts. I can get into TWRP. What should I do now? Thanks.
Full wipe in twrp & clean flash your last good choice.
Full wipe:
Format data, advanced wipe - all, reboot recovery, adv.wipe all, flashing. @cwebster
Thanks dsidexx, that fixed it. I wasn't formatting data. Now it works.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Lineage 28May Issue

Hello.
So i've flashed Lineage 28May Build and this automaticly encrypt my device ...
I've read on the internet that if the device is encrypted the flash process is a bit diferent.
I've read about wipe data cache dalvik and system
wipe data cache dalvik system and internal storage
And flash adb ...
So, now i tried to go to TWRP and it just apears Mi Logo!
Not booting into any recovery (Stock or TWRP)
I've installed Miui.eu and the recovery is ok
I flash Lineage and i can't boot into recovery anymore ...
What to do?
Issues :
1 - Can't boot into TWRP
2 - What process is to flash a new Lineage Rom? ( I want to decrypt my device to flash more easily)
I really need help ...
I don't know if my bootloader is unlocked or locked right now, because i flashed too many roms ...
Need help !

1)Try to reflash twrp from fastboot mode.(if you can't do this, then your bootloader is locked. And no matter how many roms you install, bootloader, once unlocked remains unlocked, untill you lock purposefully).
2)In twrp wipe cache, dalvik, and if necessary data for clean installation.
3) Once any custom ROM is installed, while in mi logo , you cannot directly boot to twrp. You have to go to fastboot and from there boot to twrp.
4) First install only ROM. Once it gets installed turn it on. Once it successfully turns on, then you can install gapps ( this is not always necessary to be followed)
5) formatting data completely will decrypt your device. Just goto format data and type "yes". You need not goto advanced wipe.

Cannot update to 4.5.14

Hi,
I have a rooted OP5 with 4.5.13.
I tried to install the flashable zip (from here) via TWRP without wipe, but ended up in a bootloop.
I've restored to the nandroid backup, wiped data, and tried again. This time the OP5 managed to boot only to recovery.
I've verified the md5 of the file I've used.
Do you know why this is happening? Do you know how I can upgrade to 4.5.14?
Thanks.
Did you download the full ROM or just the update?
I tried both. I didn't succeeded to install the update (as it is not intended for rooted devices).
The full rom is what caused the bootloop.
If you are doing a dirty flash you wipe cache and system. If you are doing a clean flash you wipe cache, system and data. It doesn't sound like you wiped the correct partitions when doing your flash. You also need to flash Magisk or SU after the ROM flash and before booting up or you will lose TWRP and root. If your phone is decrypted for some reason you also need to flash a no verify zip or your phone will boot loop because OOS is made for encrypted phones.

Unreadable data partition in TWRP

I have purchased G6 and flashed TWRP and custom ROM but have a problem. When i wipe data partition and flash a custom ROM can not to write in data partition and must to wipe again...after that the same story. There is some problem in TWRP i think or some security reason for that. Dm-veryty flash does not work.
