I was just trying to get a good signal on 4G and carelessly tapped on the USA band option in "change radio band" in the testing menu as mentioned above. Please help me with this as I don't have a good 4G signal where I live (India, if that's relevant), and calls keep dropping.

Yes, this is a solution to the problem.
Remember never set radio band to USA.
Is it possible to fix this by flashing only the modem file?

Maybe, but with access to the root. Flashing the original software does not require unlocked bootloader.

They may provide such services. You can fix it yourself (It takes me than 10 minutes), but if you have concerns it's better to do it for someone with experience.
Regards.

I did flash the modem on my old droid maxx without root. It was done using fastboot commands.
If you don't mind losing all your files, I recommend flashing the stock 6.0 completely. Sometimes service center does this too and they don't care about your data assuming you already backed up everything.
Moto X pure edition XT1575 model has same issue

I used a restore to stock tool and now my cellular radio doesn't work. I'm pretty decent at trouble shooting. I have tried every thing I know to fix it and it is still broken. I have tried rsd lite to restore it fails when it flashes modem (IMG to large). I have tried flashing stock firmware line for line in fast Boot to no avail. I have tried several custom ROMs I am out of answers so I'm turning it over to you XDA.

I have tried that also when I do it will not boot up. Everything works but cellular data when I try to make a call it says turn airplane mode off and they deffinetly aren't on and in the back ground where the numbers are it says radio off it will not let me turn them on. I even tried in adb with " adb shell put settings global airplane_mode_on 0" it still says turn airplane mode off to make a call.

Reflash the stock radios from the correct image for your device, or reflash the complete stock image via fastboot.
AIO or "one-click" tools are bad news on Moto devices... Avoid them and do it manually, my best guess is something didn't restore properly.

Had the same thing happen to me after flashing back to stock, Baseband Unknown, IMEI Unknown. Found solution in a different Motorola device thread that worked for me.
Flash the modem twice.
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash fsg fsg.bin
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot
Happened to me a few times. I Just flashed the modem zip floating around around here via twrp. Great score on the 64gb replacement. :highfive:
My phone doesnt have B20 anymore because i ****ed up big time by installing this jui rom.
I have tried flashing NON-HLOS.bin in fastboot but it doesnt work. I am running out of ideas, tried a lot of things but nothing works.
If someone has any info on this topic please share, B20 is essential to me.
Thanks.
I'm starting to believe it's your EFS partition (some backups have EFS backed up...it's not a default option though.) Alternatively, you can see if this will bring your device back to life. My guess is the IMEI is corrupt and it's not able to authenticate your device onto the LTE frequency (strange that HSPA works though...)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/help/unlocking-bands-t3565979
Otherwise, it sounds like Le Eco will need to manually reflash the EFS partition to your device (ie: sending it in for repair.)
Damn i dont have any efs partition backed up ;/
I guess i will have to try this too, will report back if it worked.
Fastboot flash system, boot and format data isnt working either. The other commands for flashing recovery and files are working though..

On the 727 the command to format in fastboot is fastboot erase userdata and I flashed system by flashing everything else then flashing twrp and flashing system image from TWRP. Like you I screwed up with the JUI junk and no longer have LTE. My fault and my fault alone.I shouldn't have went all kamikaze and flashed stuff that wasn't meant for my device.Anyhow,if I hear of or figure out a solution I will message you or post here.Id appreciate if you would do the same.

Yep. Same here, just how it goes. For further help, I tried flashing the modem.img I found for bringing a x720 back to a x727 and it made things a bit worse, won't even recognize sim now .

That's actually that one that did the sim problem. Is it supposed to go into "modem" as in fastboot flash modem modem.img? Because that's what I did. I was thinking maybe it's supposed to be fasboot flash radio not modem...
The paragraph above it sounds interesting... CN18s to US19s rom zip. Supposed to restore to stock US rom "LTE bands and all" from a Chinese. I'm guessing that's already been tried? I'm going to try it anyway to see if it fixes my sim issue if nothing else.

No problem. I'll try a few other things and if that doesn't work, we'll see if you radio from the OTA works. I'm redownloading the modem zip from the thread to see if maybe it was just a bad DL. I did dl it on my phone, sent it to google drive and downloaded to my PC from drive so maybe that messed it up. I'm also going to try that CN18s to US 19s as well. Possibly that first since it might fix both. I hope!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum, I'm looking for help with a Moto X style XT1575. I tell you the problem: I bought a Moto X Style used on the internet and it turns out that WiFi does not work, the phone is with MM 6.0.1. Entering Configuration, WiFi, you see a line with movement, as if the phone is still searching for networks with the switch turned off and when you try to activate it, it immediately goes back on by itself. I was reading a bit about this error and it seems quite repeated, not only in this model but also in other Motorola. I saw cases in which besides the WiFi also does not work the Bluetooth, in my case the problem is only in the Wifi. The phone is not rooted or anything, it is factory and reset, I am not sure if it is free but apparently yes, because I accepted sims from two different companies.
Could you help me solve this? From already thank you very much
(I'm using the Google translator, sorry if something I say is not understood)

If the bootloader is locked the solution i can think of is to flash the latest firmware (if available).
If there any hardware fault then flashing firmware won't fix this.
Reflash MM? Would that fix the WiFi? I have read cases where the official update itself generates the problem, and they flash the modem and it works, without having to reload the whole system. I do not really know what to do

This may fix it.
And don't forget to see if the build version matches.
It looks like the versions match. To do this I have to unlock the bootloader and root the phone, is that correct? I'm a rookie, you'll see

Those are stock images so i don't think you need to unlock bootloader. Just flash via fastboot.
Only flash non-hlos.bin and fsg and also Bluetooth if Bluetooth isn't working.
You can flash via fastboot?

You can't update using mobile data you have to use wifi.
Marshmallow doesn't allow updates via mobile data.
But u can use other mobile and creat wifi hotspot to update.
U can try updating. But in cause some thing break you may have to unlock your bootloader.
And is nougut available for xt1575?
Yes, Nougat is now available for some regions. How can i create a hotspot if te phone does not have WiFi? Can not connect to any network

Alright, you are going to want to download minimal fastboot and adb drivers for PC (assuming you are on windows?) https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790&page=70 You do not need an unlocked bootloader or need to be rooted to be able to flash stock. @yk1999 provided the correct file, and so just Google how to flash the commands @yk1999 said. Or follow this guide of how to relock bootloader.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...rn-to-stock-relock-bootloader-t3489110/page33
Edit : the commands are fastboot flash...and then the file names that @yk1999 posted. This should be enough. Download the file I linked you for fastboot and adb, turn on us debugging in settings, and then flash away!

Hello!
Oneplus 8 pro 12/256.
Such Problem.
CrashDump Mode after MSMdownload tool. I think the problem is with persist.img.
I have backup of persist.img which I made after buying device.
But I can't boot it because bootloader is locked.
I can't unlock bootloader because remote flashing is not allowed.
I can't allow remote flashing in Dev's Options because system doesn't boot.
I have an idea to boot persist.img from msmdownload tool but I don't know how.
I read that on xiaomi devices it is possible.
Can anybody suggest something?

This makes no sense. The msm tool overwrites and fixes all partitions. Like, did you have a bad persist.img and use msm, it will revert all to stock. Its basically reinstalling OOS as if phone has no partitions on it. An example, on my oneplus 7 pro using dual boot, I have 3 data partitions a/b/c but when I use msm tool, it fixes and reverts back to a/b. And I don't have the same persist.img that came with phone installed. I had to install a different one

Msm downloads 100% without any mistakes (and locks bootloader) and than I have this:
Qualcom Crash Dump Mode
err_qdi.c:1038:EF:sensor_process:0x1:SNS_REG_INIT :0x5c:sns_registry_sensor.c:94:SNS_RC_SUCCESS == rc
subsys_err_fatal_intr_handlersubsys-restart: Resetting the SoC - slpi crashed. subsys_unregister

That might have been what ****ed your phone up. You are ONLY supposed to use the msm tool that matches your model. For me, global msm tool not Europe or china etc. There is a thread in development stating this
If you're going to use MSM, match your device variant it's not safe to rebrand using this method.
If your bootloader locks (which it should). And your fingerprint is still borked..,(which it could still be)
Then unlock the bootloader and run through the persist.img guide found in the guides section.
Tbh the MSM tool doesn't always fix the persist partition that's why people have RMAd their devices before there was a viable fix, otherwise there wouldn't have been like a 100 threads created when the persist issue arised.
FYI you don't need the back up to your persist partition to fix it..
had the same issue. Use Android 11 MSM tool and my battery was low like 0% idk if it helps but try.
Yeh, full battery is a wise idea!
I wish they had a Linux MSM tool for our Chromebooks, etc...
The only thing that fixes and overwrites ur persist partition is SMT download mode in MSM. But BE CAREFUL cuz it will delete ur IMEI and the Widevine certificates from the phone. I used it before and wished I didn't do it, now I'm with 0 IMEI and can't flash unlock_token to unlock bootloader cuz it says verify failed obviously due to no IMEI.
So use it with care and ONLY if you have no choice.

Just use SMT again it'll fix your baseband, and don't use random qcn files to fix IMEI cuz they corrupt the baseband.
