Zidoo X6 Pro compatible firmware

not sure if there is a thread about this already. however I wanted to make one for zidoo x6 owners that want to try other firmware on their device. As of yet I have flashed the firmware for the tronsmart/beelink r68 which I didn't really like, I found the mouse was laggy. And generally I tend to lean towards custom firmware. so I flashed wassers rom to my x6. and so far so good. The thread for the link is below.
http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player...-new-lollipop-wasser-firmware-for-beelink-r89
I have heard of mo123's rom also. I haven't tried that yet, but I am going to once he comes out with his new version. His thread can be found at the link below.

in order to downgrade firmware on the zidoo x6 the only working method are as follows.
http://blog.zidoo.tv/2015/11/how-to-flash-zidoo-x6-pro-box/
you must download the 1.0.19 image file off that website, then use the android tool also provided at that website to flash the 1.0.19 firmware on your zidoo box.
Once that is complete and you are back to that version you can then download the desired version of zidoo firmware you want and apply it in the local update section of the update app that's installed on the box. You can have this file either on a USB flash drive or on local storage on the zidoo. Follow onscreen instructions.
Zidoo firmware can be downloaded from here.

let me know if you need anymore help. cheers
btw sorry for the delayed response, I was away for a bit
and for flashing the system with custom firmware/other rk3368 firmware you can use the same android tool and flash it the exact same way as described in the link above for flashing 1.0.19.
I have described this procedure in my other thread, there are also other useful tools posted such as a backup tool which I strongly recommend using. Detailed instructions are provided in the posts.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...-android-5-1-lollipop-os-rk3368-octa-t3289262
As most rk3368 devices are similar you can use the same methods across the board.
cheers
you should also install the rk driver assistant found here.

How to get HiCould Stock Firmware link from OTA

Hi all,
I would like to share how to get HiCould Stock Firmware link from OTA . I can scan all new firmware if you sent link to me after that.
I did not understand so much but can we find any rom with this way? There's a special stock rom for our mobile operator. Huawei or hihonor has not released it as downloadable yet. Do I need anyone who uses rom that I mentioned to get a stock rom link?
Edit: I guess I understand. There must be a non-updated update to get a link.
Oh, this is nice, we can capture the link every time we have an update, and post it here so everyone can use it without downloading it from the updater. cool

[Request] WW_V21.40.1220.1698 for ZE600KL

Hi,
tl;dr: Is there a download link available for the WW_V21.40.1220.1698 official firmware?
Details:
I have a ZE600KL and this official page says Marshmallow is released for it.
I have unlocked bootloader and currently stock recovery and ROM, that I've flashed myself by downloading from the official support page (1.16.40.1523_20160426). I've been checking for updates from Settings>About>System Update for a while, to no success. I used to have a root but flashing the 1.16 seems to have removed it. And if I flash TWRP and reboot to recovery, it asks me whether it should leave the system partition untouched. So this makes me think I should be able to receive the OTA, normally. And yet, as I said, no such luck.
I've seen some ROMs that mention they require MM firmware for ZE600KL, such as this one. Again, this makes me thing some people out there must have received the 21.40 update (or any Marshmallow update) for their ZE600KL. I've been searching the internet but I didn't find this firmware anywhere. If somebody knows a link or if by some enormous kindness somebody uploads this, I'd be really grateful.
Thank you in advance to anyone who replies
Edit: I came across this link but I haven't yet been able to verify if it works, will update after I try:
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE600KL/UL-Z00L-WW-21.40.1220.1698-user.zip
Second Edit: The zip in the link flashes and boots. I'm sorry to have created a thread and then manage to solve it on my own later, but hopefully this might be helpful to other ZE600KL owners in the future.

How to downgrade ZC520TL from N to M

Hello all,
this is my first post on XDA so I hope I am doing everything according to the rules. If I do something wrong, apologies and I will do better next time.
So, I recently purchased a Zenfone 3 MAX in the US in a hurry out of necessity. So I was quite annoyed to find out that ASUS has hidden the ability to format the SD card as internal memory. However I found out there is a way to un-hide the feature via adb. But the procedure I found is tested to work with Marshmallow, and I had already updated the phone to Nougat. Indeed, the adb command has had no effect on my phone.
So, now I am trying to downgrade back to Marshmallow. I am definitely a newbie to this world, but I have been able to find this (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3/help/how-to-downgrade-zenfone-3-nougat-to-t3573241) thread, which contains a link to a downgrading procedure (https://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-164531-1-3.html). However, it is not for ZC520TL but for ZE520KL.
I was hoping I could use the same procedure for my phone, if I find the right firmware, but I am not sure I have been looking in the right places. The ASUS website has various firmware versions for the US and I assume the oldest one is Marshmallow (Version US-13.1.4.43), but the procedure above requires two different firmware files and I do not know enough to understand what is the difference and where I can find them.
Anyone can shed some light on this for me?
Thank you

Ask for it. A user in Canada obtained the downgrade. Please write in this thread and share it.

Thanks for your reply.
I have looked at the thread you linked, but I could not see any reference to someone successfully getting their phone downgraded to M by Asus. If anything some people in there stress how unhelpful is Asus with the whole thing. So I am not any closer to the solution than I was before.

Thanks for the link. I have looked around and found a firmware for the ZC520TL. However I am not sure it is the right one for me because it is my understanding that I need a firmware whose name starts with UL, rather than WW. I am not sure what would happen if I used firmware of a different zone. Moreover, I have been able to recover the right firmware from the ASUS website. What I need is the "RAW firmware" as defined in the procedure I have linked in my original post. But I don't know how that is different from the firmware. As I said, I am very new to this world.

WW stands for global firmware, however I am not sure what UL is for. You can contact the person in that website asking for your firmware. They will help.

Can't find twrp file that works for SM-350. Please help.

My apologies if I accidently broke the rules with this post. I haven't posted for a long time and I'm a bit rusty on use of this forum.
I have a Galaxy Tab A that I have been trying to load TWRP on, without success. I am convinced the reason is that the TWRP files ae for the wrong hardware.
After calling Samsung tech support here is the info I can provide to identify the tablet.
Samsung SM-T350NZWAXAR gt58wifi-gt58wifixx-smt350 Build number NMF26XT350XXU1CQJ5
Now when I search for the TWRP tar file, the only thing close to a match for the hardware is codename a8hplte . I selected the most recent TWRP file.
Well, I've flashed that tar file using Odin several times but I still get the stock recovery when I boot into recovery .
Is it possible that Samsung has a device for which TWRP doesn't work? I'm hoping someone out there has the same model and can tell me what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks in advance.
Forgot to mention, I sent an email query to TWRP. They didn't respond. No help whatsoever.
No idea where you were looking, but the 1st page of the rom, kernel + recovery subforum for the Samsung tab already has a thread with TWRP for the SM-T350.
Now it's not my specific tablet so idk if it works, but you can just read the thread and ask there.

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I had been trying to get a image/tar file from the official TWRP website. Now, I also saw the page you provided a link to. When I read it, I saw that the version (
twrp_3.1.0-1_sm-t350_18317.tar) that was recommended is in a category labeled "for Marshmallow only). What I have is Nougat, and in that category there is no SM-350 TWRP file. So if you would please help me one more time; Should I be using the file from the Marshmallow only category, or the Nougat for SM-355 (which doesn't match what I have)? Thank you again for your assistance.

Like I said - it's not MY device, so I suggest you ask in the linked thread as the users there will HAVE the device and know better
download ROM/firmware (lowest possible version) from https://www.sammobile.com according to your CSC, repair tablet with Odin3, and unlock bootloader first
