I have a model ze552kl / Z012D, battery: 3000mah.
On the package of my phone the infos are as follows:
Z012D, 2 IMEIs, battery: c11p1411 (which is a 3000mah)
But my custom ROM resurrection Remix 8.1 reports apparently: model Z012S, battery 2650mah. Such infos show up in AIDA64 and CPU-X.
AIDA64 / system shows both: model: z012S, device: z012D
The app "Ampere" shows only 2650mah as well and the model: z012S
Why is that so, why those different infos?
Does it mean it uses only 2650mah and not the full capacity?
Flash stock Rom and I bet it'll show the correct info.
It might be a mistake on the part of the ROM dev? 2650mAh is the battery capacity for the ZE520KL Zenfone 3.

your phone is redmi note wcdma. and you never update the os (miui ver 29). use cm11. i think there is rom for redmi note wcdma. try googling or find it on taptalk.

Ur phone is a MTK version...I think that's no CM ROM for redmI note 3g if I'm not mistaken
Edit: I found a cm11 ROM in miui forum

I want to port custom rom for it.
Can anyone suggest me porting guide and PORT rom for this device? Also can we port any rom based on Android 6.0 for it?
What are the differences on above firmware / Rom categorys ?.
If i flash Z00A compatible ROM or Z008 compatible ROM with a Z00LD handset will it work? because im having a Z00LD device and most of the fabulous ROMs are only compatible with Z00A or Z008.
So how am i going to find a better rom for Z00LD

What I observed its the firmware with same Intel chipset is compatible with each other... Ze551ml, ze550ml, ZenFone zoom are compiled with same system firmware... but when installed only the related features and scripts with be installed...

I just bought a Chinese android head unit but the User Interface of the unit is not appealing and does have show much information about the device itself under settings (In Fact it doesn't even have the field "ABOUT DEVICE"). Also it does not have any option to update the Car Logo I was able to access CAN settings but there is nothing there about updating the logo.
Below mentioned are the details of my device.

Hello XDA members,
First a disclosure, I'm a complete noob when it comes to Android OS & installation.
Having said that, I have an "unrooted" Moto G4 phone (XT1624 model) with Android 7.0. This model was not eligible for Oreo update & now some of the popular apps like Amazon shopping has stopped working since they require a minimum Android 8.0 to work. I was wondering if I could root this phone (5 years old phone so already out of warranty) & install any stable higher Android OS like 8,, 9, 10 etc. My questions are:
1. Does installing higher OS require specific system requirements or any phone with 2 GB RAM capable of working any OS?
2. Is it advisable to install in gradation like 7.0 to 8.1 to 9 to 10 ? What technical problems could I face if, say, I install Android 10 directly from Android 7.0?
3. What latest Android OS you guys think should work smoothly on this phone?

I recommend the latest official 8.1 for G4plus, look at XDA for TWRP-athene-OPJ28.111-22-1.zip

You can also get Android 10 unofficial for example with arrow os, but it has some minor bugs.
Always do a clean flash means wipe everything in TWRP first
PS: Regarding OS G4 Athene and G4Plus are the same
