hello guys
i own a samsung galaxy s8 and a mitsubishi lancer 2017 which unfortunately for some reasons it only comes with a usb and cd player (no bluetooth no aux )
when i connect my phone to the stereo to play some music it says unsupported device
but my friend also has a lancer 2017 (only usb/cd no aux/bt) but somehow he can connect his iphone and play music without any problem
so i wanted to know if there's a way to use my S8 on my car
thank you :fingers-crossed:

Hi,
I bought 2015 Honda CR-V recently and I had this weird problem with Samsung Note 4.
I paired Note 4 with CR-V. Phone calls works fine. But It doesn't play music. When I go to Music app on CR-V, it says No Device Connected.
I checked the bluetooth connection settings on Phone and verified that both Call audio and Media audio options selected.
When I open music app on Phone and select play, the sound comes out from CR-V speakers, but the skip forward/backward buttons on steering wheel doesn't work.
I connected Samsung Galaxy S II, Note 3 and iPhone, they all works fine. The display shows song details and onscreen forward/backward buttons. Everything works normal.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Hari
Contact Honda. This doesn't sound like something Note 4 users can help you with (especially since not every Note 4 owner has a Honda CR-V).
I had many Android phones and usually when I bluetooth stream from any phone, my car's head unit shows the artist name, song name, and the album name. With Le Pro 3 when I connect the phone for audio streaming, the screen gets stuck on Phone is Connected and doesn't go to the more advanced screen to show the song info. Did anyone have this issue and is there any way to fix that?
Using it with 2016 Mercedes HeadUnit and Spotify. Works perfect even better than Samsung galaxy s6... It connects a bit faster and sound is perfect, stable etc. I'm on .018s official Rom without Root
Jeep GC 2014 better than Samsung Note 4.

I used Pandora in my car the entire drive to work (25 mile drive), and I had no issues with Bluetooth or its display on my car system. I'm in a Honda Civic 2016.
Brand new Galaxy S8 and a 2017 Chevy Traverse. Connected the pohone via auxiliary jack and no sound is coming through the car's speakers. Only sound is coming through the phone.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
FYI- in had an S6 and this same connection worked without any problems.
Hey guys,
I'm trying to play Spotify by connecting myG5 plus to my Chevy Cruze's USB port to play audio from there. I can play local music, but for some reason it doesn't play spotify. The bluetooth audio sucks and I would like to be able to skip and pause through the car's radio/steering wheel (so preferably no aux). My phone is rooted as well, so any suggestions/solutions are appreciated.
Thanks
If your car is not Android Auto Ready, then the only way to use sterring wheel keys functionality is only through bluetooth. I own a 2017 Corsa and these are the only ways to make it possible.
Spotify works through Android Auto platform solely or through bluetooth streaming; connecting the phone through USB port recognises the phone just as an external USB drive and then spotify does not "cast" its content to the speakers of your car.
Hi Everyone,
I hate stock car audio set ups and can't stand how bad the stick head units are in my country India.
I'm planning on buying a new car, the Nissan Magnite (the base version usually comes with just the Aircon and no bahut, music player or speakers) and wanted to set up the ICE without any stock components. Could you help me understand if the following set up would work as I'm describing it.
Car amplifier: Sony XM - GS6 (with built in DSP)
Head unit: Samsung s6 tab lite with wireless charging dock
Speakers and sub woofer: haven't finalized, evaluating options
1) can I install the amplifier in the 2 din console space, have the tab connect to the amplifier via Bluetooth and the tab becomes the default screen. Is this possible?
2) since the tab will be playing the music, can it also act as a DSP or an equaliser via any available apps? Like what's the best way to get quality output from this setup?
3) can the controls be set up to connect the following to the tab, either via Bluetooth or via USB or via 3.2 jack and finally control them either by voice assistant or dashboard control buttons on the tab:
a) steering mounted controls for music player and calling,
b) FM radio antenna to connect to the tab,
c) reverse mirror, obd scanner, Aircon controls?
Thanks in advance!
Bump!! Pls reply to a noob
