Guys is there any mod or rom that has the feature to use samsung download booster for any app i.e. It combine both wifi and mobile data???
Looking for the same thing, just found out that download boost is only for play store and samsung store. If that is correct then I dont know why others are not looking for this aswell.

Hello,
For some strange reason, I can't find the Youtube application on the market, whichever ROM I try. I used to get it fine on my HTC Magic but nothing on my HTC HD2.
I can't find Vocal Search either but that one can be found in CM's gapps.zip. No Youtube in that pack unfortunately...
So is there an address or thread that keeps an up-to-date .apk of the Youtube app ?
Thank you very much !
Install market enabler. Then launch market enabler, go to setting list, long press either us t-mobile or us-verizon. A menu will appear, press fake this provider now.
Now you'll be able to find the youtube app on market.
I know about that but I don't really want to install an app to get another app. I wouldn't use market enabler for anything else...
Check your PM.

If you're from Belgium and go to the android market website on your computer, you'll see you won't be able to install youtube.apk because it's not allowed in our country. Market enabler is an old well-known solution, but I recall Google having removed the separation between market-regio's so Market enabler was no longer required. So why suddenly is there some country-based restrictions again on some apps :/ Even youtube.. I mean I can easily open a brower on my computer in Belgium and just access youtube so I don't understand why it would be forbidden to open it from a smartphone.

Hey
I need to install some apps not available in the German Android Market. Any way I can get around this problem ?
Download the Apks from somewhere else. You can get most of the free ones easily by googling them. Second option is to root your phone and get Market Enabler.
Download market enabler from the market and fake a us provider.

guys i have issues with playstore i cant download nor upgrade any apps. any suggestion which service is connected with it? i disabled some from application manager.
i have the MEA firmware and not rooted i9500. TIA
Do you remember the services you stopped?
Try turning them on one by one so you will find the right one somewhen.
(Download manager), Play Store, Play-services and packet-installer sound reasonable for the ones you look for.
Maybe it is one of these?

Hi,
I need an app to debloat the newest bobcatrom as he didn't debloat it.
I did use an app called xda assistant but that was taken off play store a few months ago.
I have since tried many apps from play store but they are all useless as apps still show on my phone after I try to uninstall them.
Does anyone know of a good app where I can remove system apps with ?
Nvm I found the best app ever.
Care to share this app name?
This might assist a few of you with the SM-G9550 who're in China (mainland)
This is just a post for noobs (like me) who inevitably pick this phone up while in mainland China and mistakenly realise that it comes with no google framework or playstore and need help. No need to flash HK firmware through ODIN and worry about the consequences. I simply went to my vpn provider (not needed if outside of china), and downloaded my vpn's apk from their site. Installed it without hassle.
Then went to a site called APKmirror, downloaded their suggested diagnostic app (Droid hardware app), which is found on the third last section of their FAQ page (as of this post's date). Then I searched in APKmirror's site for framework, google services, and the play store itself. found suitable ones and downloaded to my laptop. Then from my computer, plonked them onto the phone (had to use Airdroid as my macbook didn't connect to phone), and installed the services framework, then play services and lastly the play store apks. At least I think that's what I did ... Might have not even needed to put the play services on now that I think about it.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
Google play services already preinstalled,we just need to have VPN to work.
surprisingly found inbuilt Radio which is missing in international version ?
I have only concern with GPS ! everything in Chinese ?

Yes I suppose so, as mine came with some sort of Google out of the box... But it was a neutered variety. Only let me download some Google apps from Samsung store. Couldn't get play store to work, or some other things working, and Google Chrome wouldn't allow log in. So... Not sure why yours allowed different access levels with just VPN.
I didn't look at GPS but noted Chinese in weather app.. I just changed my weather app to my preferred one and now have English weather. Samsung service app is Chinese, but... I don't really use it anyway.
Cheers.
The HK version also identifies as SM-G9550. I suppose there is something to work out between the two for you to get your Chinese version completely international
In my SM-G9550 Hongkong model, continuous Intra band Carrier Aggregation is not working for Band3 (1800MHz). I bought it from HK and using it in Cambodia
Google play service has already installed in phone, just download a Play store app and VPN
hoped this variant to be standard
