Hi guys,
I need to update my phone as my current setup is having Bluetooth issues - and I read it happens on Android 4.3, but is fixed in 4.4 onwards.
I need a ROM which allows the following fixes:
1) Bypass security settings on emails that require you to put a PIN/Password to unlock your phone every single time.
2) Remove messages from the call log. Not sure if this was fixed in the newer android versions but it was very annoying when I first got my phone. I only want to see calls in my call log.
Can anyone recommend a ROM which will allow these fixes? I don't need any other features - just need something as light as possible.
Cheers
Wanam Xposed has the second option, you can use it on any stock based ROM, at the same time Arya Mod is the best TouchWiz based ROM available in my opinion, but it is by no means light. About the first option, I think Arya has that too, but not at all sure.
Thanks mate, will keep that in mind if I cant find a lighter a ROM.
Does anyone know of a light ROM which will do the above?
CHeers
Temasek cm roms are pretty good.
Norma N5 Port V15, Phronesis V4.1 good, i tested. MinimalOS is very fast and light but need some apps for default messages, etc
Hi guys,
I just noticed Wanam Xposed has the option to bypass exchange security. Therefore, I want to find a light ROM which is based on Android 4.4 or higher, and has the ability to use Wanam Xposed. What ROM would I be best to use?
Alternatively, could I just install the newest stock ROM, and then root it and install Wanam Xposed?
Cheers

The last time i read in order for xposed to work on lollipop, it has to be deodexed. Try multiX by tkari4. It's the only KK rom left supported here.
Sent from my SM-N920C
I second Temasecks Rom. It's Great.
I'm using Pronesis Rom ported from Note 5.
I think it's good enough, there are a few bugs but everything works great. I would recomend you to use this rom.
ALEXNDR Roms are great too if you dont want a custom rom that makes your android look like nothing.

I'm using Dark AU rom found on Samsungviet website, very stable even more than stock imho. It's a Note 5 rom ported for Note 3.
This rom has none of the issues you've mentioned. If you want to bypass security try using google's smart lock feature build into lollipop. If you want to open anything from the lock screen you will always need to unlock
Hey, has anyone managed to get this feature working ? if so with what rom/kernel.
Tried every possible rom/kernel combo but i couldn't get this feature to work even though it seems like it's implemented in pretty much every OP5 custom kernel...
Need it in order to get linux deploy to work
Thanks for your help
That's it, I want to flash a custom Oreo ROM but I'd miss the lock/unlock with fingerprint gesture that we have with stock.
Almost all custom ROMs have the feature to wake the device without registering a fingerprint!
for locking the device, however, you'd need EX kernel manager for it..(provided Kernel supports it)
You can always flash custom kernels like Frostbitten, Loony & Waiver (if the kernel that comes with the ROM does not support it) as they support fingerprint wake and sleep and power options as well..

Hello guys, this is my first thread I made up
I've got a pretty simple question:
I've tried "Niwatori -One Handed Mode" - both, the Play Store App and the Xposed feature - but there is no possibility to activate it with the hardware buttons (swipe left / right from home to menu / back)
Before buying the XDA app because you can't test it in free trail, very sad, I wanted to know if it's otherwise possible (is the hardware button method even possible in XDA app?)
Is there a custom ROM which has the 'unique' One-Handed-Mode like in the original MIUI (or as a tweak)?
thanks a lot, gorillagurke
Miui based custom roms have this feature.
Cusrom with one handed mode

Choose a ROM of your choice and flash it, get a compatible kernel for the ROM which has wake gestures (eg. Raging beast) and flash it over the ROM, use a kernel manager app to configure it with your needs.

If u want using RR naugat rom then i will show u how to using double tap to wake up device follow:
1- If flash RR rom and Gapp
2- U flash The ragging beast kernel a6000
3- Dowload Tapswitch app on internet and install it. ( Rom had to rooted to using tapswitch, because RR rom rooted should U don't flash magic or super su after flash rom and gapps.....)
But every boot device then u had to turn on tapswith to turn on bouble tap to wake feature.
My Idea You should choose Pie rom because It have availabe feature that.( Any Pie rom for lenovo A6000)
Good look.
