I was using KitKat 4.4 over my Galaxy A5 A5000 and was working fine with Dual SIM. I just wanted to update it and there was no update for Pakistan as I live here. I downloaded an Official Firmware from Samfirmware for this model and it was Lollipop.
Flashed it and it just stopped the networks. When Ever i try to call or msg it keeps popups with No network registered.
Anyone can help me in this issue?
PS: I flashed the open china version too, Restored my phone via recovery mode did lots of things but nothing happened.

I bought my S7 edge form Portugal, the phone is factory unlocked.
Now I'm back in my country and I thought I should download from sammobile the official firmware of my carrier provider or the global version.
I'm not sure if I'll still receive OTA updates if I flash the firmware with ODIN, and if that's the case, please tell me if there's any other methods to flash the baseband without causing updates issues in the future.
I want to update the fw because Volte doesn't work.
Another question, I don't have a PC, so I was wandering if I can install Odin on Mac or in VmWare?

I Have Galaxy S7 edge SM-G935FD Indian Varient. I want to Install latest Nougat offical Build (G935fxxu1dptl) on Mine S7 edge but i want VoLTE access on My device also. So Can i install Uk build Firmware with Indian MM CSC among with Nougat Build ?? Can My Device Bricked or Tripped Knox by this?? Plz answer....
It's works good......BTU variant doesn't support for VOLTE
So you should wait for official...one
It's unlikely this will work as most carriers have VoLTE in their own branded firmware only. However, I am on EE in the UK and can still access VoLTE on Unbranded firmware.
The only thing you can do is flash the BTU firmware and see for yourself. Flashing the BTU firmware will not trip knox.

I installed UK build Firmware G935FXXU1DPTL with Indian MM CSC on my Indian Galaxy S7 edge SM-G935FD, everything went smooth, it even shows VoLte in task bar....but can't make any calls on VoLte..data works fine
IMS Framework Version 6.0
I belive this have to do with the framework change from MM IMS framework 5.0 to N IMS framework 6.0
now we have to wait for the carrier to update their XCAP and IMS CSC setting for us to have it working including the WI-FI calling.

I want an unbranded version (no carrier app, no update delay,..) So if I understand well, G935FXXU1DPLT is the way to go for that. Correct?
Also to flash it, do I need to ACTIVATE PIN in "Secure startup" I saw that here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3335065
But nowhere else when I read threads about flashing the nougat firmware. I want to do that this morning but I don't want to make a mistake.

Did you try with Jio4Gvoice ?? For call and messages.

How? I just flashed my EE S7 EDGE to BTU 7.0 and i've lost both VoLTE and VoWifi?

Phone > Settings.
VoLTE no longer seems to be there in the latest version. But wifi calling is still there.
I'm currently downloading the official BTU nougat update for my S7 Edge, as I am currently on an O2 CSC, when flashing the BTU version shall I use the BTU CSC or keep it as Home_CSC?
I'm not worried about the phone being reset as I am currently backing it up in Smart Switch as I type this.
Also if anyone could link me to the best guide to follow in order to go ahead with this please post it here, thanks. :good:

I have s7 galaxy edge on ee uk network but i wanted to use my 3 sim card so i flashed it with a uk s7 galaxy firmware using odin using all options but the 'bl' option.
After the phone had no signal i did some research and found that i needed to flash the phone with its proper firmware to recieve a signal.
So i download an ee firmware for the s7 galaxy edge and flashed with odin using all options except 'bl' and i still have no signal.
Does anyone have any idea what i should do.
The ee firmware i flashed was G935FXXU1DQG_G935FEVR1DQC1_EVR.ZIP
