I downloaded many custom roms, and when i flash it, it stuck on 0%, i tried many times but i failed, i tried to instal stock roms and i downloaded many roms also, it keeps telling me invalid vendor id, after researches, i found that is the problem that is my device cid is locked. Now i got tired of searching and downloading, any help please?!

Today I wanted to upgrade my ROM to a new version.
I succesfully upgraded my Radio and SPL, but when I tried to flas the new ROM I received an error. (I thought it was ERROR: 260)
Now Im stuck in the Bootloader and a hard reset, soft reset, or any other reset wont work.
Removed battery and started device bootloader pop up again.
Please help.
(I really don't understand what went wrong I flashed my rom before 2 times without any problems.)

Hey guys. I'm kinda new to this so forgive me if I say something wrong or confuse you guys. So I bought my Gt540 on ebay. Little did I know that it was branded by a Portuguese company called TMN. So I decided to flash my phone with different ROMS with the kdz updater. Essentially I wanted to unbrand it. So every time I flashed it with a different ROM other than the branded TMN ROM I keep getting errors such as com.android.phone and com.android.settings has stopped unexpectedly. The phone error would constantly pop up. The settings error would pop up when I would access the settings. When I flash it with the original TMN ROM the phone works perfectly but with all the excess bloatware. I also tried the goldcard thing and I don't even know if that works for this phone or not. also when flashing the ROMS my applications would still be there afterwards even my settings are intact. The roms i've tried are all v2.1. I've spent many hours trying to unbrand this phone and install a generic ROM on it, so a point in the right direction would be nice. Thanks.
why dont you flash a fastboot enabled kdz then install recovery and CM7

I think you need fastboot for it (not sure).
To go to fastboot, you need to hold the camera button while turning on your phone (when the LG logo comes up). If the screen becomes blank, then you've entered fastboot mode. More info can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=802895. It has a ROM that has fastboot, so you can flash that. (The thread provided is not only for the update for Android 2.1 but for fastboot also).

I tried to do a factory reset on my A500 and ended up getting a "Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x19000008)" error. I read various threads and ended up at this very helpful thread and tried to flash an update but didn't get anything to work after trying several and then decided to flash a new ROM and the third version I tried seemed to take but now I get a password prompt from something that looks like the screenlock screen. I tried as many generic factory passwords as I could think of but can't get past the screen. Any hints as to what to do? I may try flashing a different version of the ROM to see that helps but I thought I would ask here first. If you're curious, the ROM file I used was Acer_A500_7.006.03_COM_GEN1.
Hi,
a friend Brought me a Motorola Milestone 2 which had been sent to him, however it was asking me/him for a motoblur account, so I entered mine and it said name/password was incorrect, so I decided to flash it after many attempts to hard reset etc etc
used RSD Lite 4.7+patch and 5.6 with a few of the softwares found in the super firmwares thread but to no avail I got a "code group XX" verification failed and my screen shows "critical error DEA1"
I've tried many firmwares since then however none of the work
I can't get into "android recovery mode" as soon as I put the battery in, I get code corrupt battery ok to program etc etc
I have bootloader 70.13
don't know what firmware was on it, as I had no access to the system
what to do?

I am new to all this so please dont think me too much an idiot. I have searched nad searched but yet am unable to find a solution for my issue.
I tried rooting my s8+ last night, after a few attempts I managed it and installed a ROM (Renovate ICE)
all was ok phone restored and i was happy except unable to use banking apps. after some research I decided to change roms for one with built in supersu so i could install rootcloak and hopefully be able to use it, I then installed KING ROM, but i believe i selecteed an incorrect option which then deleted my network settings and imei so although the phone was working I lost all signal and my imei. i then tried installing a different rom and many other things and have tried several times to flash it back to oem software (UK H3G0 but it jusst keeps failing can anybody try and decipher what to do next to get my phone working again please.
